I broke down and realized I needed help. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Dr. Gonsman. Aside from being very close to my home, he brought me in hours within me calling to schedule an appt. I waited less than 3 minutes in the waiting room to get back to the exam room. His assistant took me back and took my xrays. Everyone was extremely friendly. The Dr came in and was very pleasant. He talked to me through the entire exam and gave me soooo much helpful info. and my cleaning was great too. He showed me on my xrays exactly where and what i needed done. He gave me the option between silver and composite fillings and explained each very clearly, making sure to let me know the composites may cost a little more. I opted for the composites for their color, and To my surprise, the composites were incredibly afforable even with my insurance paying only a little over half. A week later he put in my 5 composites, and although I was extremely anxious being that I've never had fillings, they did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and had as little pain as possible. He talked to me through the procedure, allowed my husband to be around for my comfort and made sure to let me know to tell him if I had any pain at all during and stopped as soon as I had any and took care of it. He took his time on my teeth and they turned out beautifully. After it was all said and done they made payment arrangements with me and my tight budget to pay off my work(which was a great price, even with me being on unemployment) This was an absolutely wonderful experience for me and for the first time in my life Im EXCITED to go back to the dentist. I will definitely be recommending Dr Gonsman to friends and family. This is how dentistry should be. Comfortable. Inviting. Informative. Thorough.

As I traveled the country, I used local dentists... but never felt they compared to Dr. Pawlowicz & his sons. When I moved back to Butler, I thought it was time to finally come back. Their commitment to quality dentistry is everything I remembered as a teen. Dr. Jason and my hygienist, Autumn, have an excellent chair-side manner... and are very giving with the free samples. ;-) The only downside (and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that this practice does *not* participate in any insurance networks. Any new patients need to call their insurance companies first to verify the reimbursement policy.

Dread morphed into fear of the unknown, novocaine overdose, callous attitude, surprise * pain and when will it ever end powerlessness. My modus operandi was -- avoid the dentist no matter what. It just so happened I had surgery to be scheduled -- not until I was cleared by my dentist! I began a search for a dentist's office that had empathy for patients like myself. I finally heard a kind, caring voice on the other end of that line after making several phone calls. Sometimes we have to go with that gut feeling. Everyone worked on my teeth with expertise and vigilance NOT to cause pain. I have never been to a dentist that educated me about taking care of my teeth and the best tools to use. He helped me discover the underlying reason why my daughter was having extreme teeth sensitivity to the point where drinking water was painful. At that time, she had a Pediatric Dentist and had a treatment done. When they could not figure out why she was having sensitivity, they sent us to her Orthodontist who gave us no answers, then to another dental specialist to have her wisdom teeth extracted at the age of 14. When that did not work, I decided to take her to my dentist, Dr. Voller, which I should have done in the first place! I knew I could trust that he would figure out the underlying problem. He listened to all of my concerns and ended up restoring the work of the previous dentist. He used a camera with a high-powered lens to take pictures of her teeth to show me exactly what was going on inside the molars where the previous dentist had sealed up decay and didn't even realize it! Dr. Voller removed the decay and used techniques such as ozone to kill all the bacteria inside the teeth then sealed it up perfectly! My daughter experienced no pain after that and we were so incredibly grateful to Dr. Voller!!!!! He even called me at home to check on my daughter after each tooth was restored. We gave him a big hug when it was all done because we were so thankful!!!! Fortunately, he found the problem and fixed it because the decay would have led to root canals on both sides of her mouth. I can't say enough about the depth of knowledge that Dr.Voller has and how he loves his job! She said that's the best they can do. I could probably schedule heart surgery faster. Been a patient since their early days. Probably 10-15 years. If they need 8 months to schedule a cleaning then maybe they are too busy. Keep this in mind when considering them. I'm not the only review that had the problem. Time for me to find another dentist.
