Kevin Mitchell is not only a great insurance agent, he's a great guy! I always look forward to chatting with Kevin. I reached out to Kevin to get some business insurance for our new business and he went above and beyond to find us insurance that was way cheaper than any of the other quotes we had received from other insurance agencies. Not to mention, he was kind enough to speak to us from the hospital as he was awaiting the birth of his second child! We also just switched over all of our renters and EQ insurance to Kevin, since he was such a great help before, and AGAIN, he was able to get us better coverage for better rates than what we were paying with Allstate. This guy has some major connections. You need disability insurance? He's got the hook up for you. Need an accountant? He's got the hook up for that, too. He is a networking king and goes above and beyond to help with anything he can possibly help you with. Last but not least, we used Kevin because he can get you any kind of insurance (for the most part, he doesn't work with disability insurance) and he's not a sole employee of Farmers. Truthfully, I am not a fan of Farmers. I even just changed the insurance company for my auto policy. Personally, I think it's smart to shop around from from time to time. So you ask why am I giving Kevin a 5 star review? Here's the lowdown. While I am no longer with Farmers', I do recommend Kevin as an insurance agent. I've used Farmers for 4+ years but Farmers' auto insurance prices aren't competitive these days. Their rates just don't work for me. However, Kevin is great. He's the reason why I stayed with Farmers for this long. Kevin was always prompt, supportive, and brutally honest. I was looking to find an insurance agency for my parents who live in LA but I live out of state. I called a few places randomly but with any of these other insurance agents (not Farmers) I was not allowed to speak to the agent directly and spoke to one of his assistants. It took them a long time to get my information in order for me to get a quote. Needless to say, it was refreshing to call Kevin's number and literally connecting with Kevin himself. He was friendly and efficient but most important available. He helped me with my parents insurance and was flexible in how we talked (text, email, call) and when I could reach him. Polite guy, but he is one of those people who is going to make you do more work than necessary to get assisted. He wanted me to call him back the next day (and he would "maybe" be there to answer) rather than setting a time when he would be able to call, after I reached out to him and he said he would call back in 10 minutes (it was actually over 50 minutes). Then he wanted me to type everything out in an email in order to get a quote so that he wouldn't have to even take the info over the phone through a call at another time. He'll waste your time making excuses about all of his personal stuff, which as a new customer you don't really need to hear. read more

Ok. First I look at the yelp reviews, I was like..."all five stars reviews? Really?" But it turns out to be very accurate. Kevin is probably one of the best agent you can find. He is a very decent, efficient and straightforward businessman. I am not with Farmer's and was interested in seeing what they may have to offer me. After reading Kevin's numerous Yelp reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong talking with him. Kevin went beyond any of my expectations. He is very personable and generous with his feedback. Kevin reviewed all of my scanned insurance documents and gave me a direct and honest assessment. He stated that my current policy was a very good policy and that he didn't see any reason to switch away from it at this time. That was very good to hear and so refreshing not to have someone try to sell me something that I didn't need. Kevin also has a wealth of information, advice and recommendations regarding several questions I asked apart from non-insurance needs.
