Food was just acceptable, I read the raves about the chili cheese burger, and being new to town, thought I'd give it a try. I've had worse, but not much worse. Very disappointed. I got a side of onion rings, nothing fresh here, straight from freezer to fryer. The employees were nice. But I had no idea why they asked me what car I was in, no explanation, so I went to my car to wait, after seeing another customer go to their car. The employees waved at me when food was done. No ketchup, mustard, salt, or napkins in the bag. Luckily I had grabbed some napkins already. Just a very disappointing experience. Won't bother going back. read more

I've been coming to Kevin's Korner for more than 20 years. It's an old styled burger and shake stand that has been here since before I was born and had many versions of itself before Kevin's. As with these kinds of places, parking is limited street side parking. Be careful when you back out into busy Market Street. You can order at one of the two outside windows and wait in the confines of your car, or you can order at the counter inside and dine at one of the 8 or so booths. The booths are a bit cramped, so these days I generally order take out. The menu is large for a burger stand with everything from burgers to poboys to everything in between. I have my favorite order of a large bacon cheeseburger, chili cheese dog and fries with a Coke. The burgers are made from fresh ground beef bought daily from the grocery just around the corner. Same with the lettuce, tomato and onions. All sandwiches come in regular or large size so you have a choice as to how much you get. Everything is cooked to order, so relax and wait for the yummy food to get made. The burgers really are great. I love the mayo that they use and the buns are always soft and fresh. The chili-cheese dogs really are the best here. I get mine with mustard and onions. The fries are crinkle cut and are always perfect. You will pay a little more for food here. But, you can't get burgers any fresher anywhere else. Just a note that if you use a card to pay, you will pay a $1 processing fee. I come here as often as I can. I love the place. Heard so much good things about it being good so I had to come check it out. Pretty small business with small parking lot and couple booths inside the restaurant. You can order outside and inside for to go orders and dine in. Which is pretty convenient for others that don't have time to sit down and eat. Anyways service was really great. Full of smiles and laughter and walk us through with their menu. Got the bacon cheese burger with everything on it. Comes out in a brown bag. Burger was decent nothing really that WOWs me. Just another patty thrown in a bun. I'd come back and give it another chance though and order something different. read more

Most of the workers were nice except one. She ignored my coworker who was trying to place an order at their walk-up window and after he left and came inside she took the next guys order that walked up. Do the math, no details needed. But as far as the food goes, the burger was razor-thin and it's not handmade, and they were out of lettuce and we were told after we had placed our order. It would have been courteous to tell us before or when we placed our order. And they knew it beforehand because the lady said they were waiting on the truck to deliver it. Fries were ok. Ive eaten here quite a bit over the years and its always been good. They do however charge you a $1 to use your debit card and charge for refills when you eat inside. Hope they catch up with the times and maybe include these costs in the food if they are that worried about it. read more

I've been eating here my entire life and today was my last day. I got charged a 1.00 "service" charge today and when I asked why and how long have they been going that and her answer floored me. She told me the owner tells her to charge a dollar on every transaction no matter the amount and they were told not to tell the customers. FYI people, this is illegal. A business can only charge a dollar if the purchase amount is less then 5.00. After that, the maximum you can be charged is 4% of the purchase amount and if you do charge a service fee, it must be posted in writing on the register. This place is steeling from the customers that keep him open. read more
