Popped in on Saturday for lunch. We got seated right away. We had looked at a different restaurant and they had an hour wait. We got right in here and seated ourselves. Easy peasy. Nice beer menu! Exceptionally friendly and helpful server! The food was quite tasty. The beer, too. The only negative is that they only had high top tables with the high chairs. But we made it work. We can here for lunch on a Saturday because it was a 1 hour wait at The Lady May, I gave them my name and number and we went walking around to see if anything else had less of a wait. Well, we got to Knuckleheads and they had no wait at all so it was decided!! Our server (I'm think she said her name was Silver(???) - big LSU fan but nobody is perfect) was excellent. She was very patient with our eldest son who has special needs and she made a point of asking HIM the questions and not us. Also she assumed he could drink out of a regular cup and brought him his drink like everyone else's and didn't bring him a kid cup with a lid. Everyone's food was good, we all tried each others. "Fun Guy" sandwich was good, peach burger was good, regular house cheeseburger good as well. I think my least fave was June, I had a chicken po boy, there was nothing wrong with it per se it just was kind of boring, chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato. I'd have thought it would have like a sauce or remoulade or something??? Lots of TV up around the place with some college sports all matches on but with the sound turned down which I like. There is indoor seating with mostly high top tables in where we were plus an outdoor area with lots of low tables. Oh - you can sample a beer before you order it which is very helpful if you're unfamiliar with a particular brew. And one more thing - the Mississippi poutine is damn good - fries topped with Mississippi pot roast and some cheese but just a nice light sprinkling not a crazy frommage deluge. read more

I am a big fan of this KnuckleHeads. Cool beer and good food. They carry a wide selection of beer and they have a liquor bar next door. The burgers are always good. The Mississippi Roast Beef Sandwich is very solid. I opted for the sweet potato fries with no seasoning. For opt the eggrolls and quesadillas are very good. They always have on Bob Ross on one TV and some show about becoming a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader on the other and then lots of TV with sports on. Services is always fantastic. People are friendly. Lot parking can be limited but there is plenty of street parking. read more

A fun place to get a beer. Several TVs playing various sports are on display. They serve food. However, I didn't buy any last night. The service is fairly quick. There is both Indoor and Outdoor seating. Parking is a hit or miss, but last night it was a hit. Additionally, this is a short walk to the beach. read more

Have you ever walked into a place and you hear the proverbial record scratch and everything stops? That's almost how it felt walking into Knuckleheads. Dining alone, I opted for the bar which must be a spot for "locals only" I felt like I was there for paycheck and a paycheck only. The service was cold and not very welcoming. It wasn't terribly busy for a weeknight with two others at the bar and several other parties inside and outside. I got the Peachy burger with potatoes and it was amazing! This is one of those places when you drive by you think I have to try that place. Then one day it happens!! Wednesdays is all you can eat steamed Royal Reds with corn and potatoes! The Reds are steamed perfectly! I was raised on the coast so I'm picky with seafood. When they peel easily you know they are fresh and cooked perfectly We always start with a salad and they have a really good salad. Nothing fancy but it's good and their dressing makes it! I'm not a drinker but there is a good selection of beer including craft beers. Our server was spot on! She knew what we wanted before we did! Every time that I have visited Knuckleheads it seems that they are always out of something. Upon my last visit, Knuckleheads was out of batter for their shrimp po'boys, and also pickles. In the past they have been out of the catch of the day and different beers I have ordered from the list upon the wall. I ordered my son a cheeseburger. The meat was full of gristle (the chewy parts) and he only ate half of it. My po'boy was grilled because there was no batter, and there was no dressing offered of on the sandwich. I wanted to ask for some, but my server vanished after we got our food. She did show up to us the check ($75.00 including tip). I will not be going back. read more

Great atmosphere and service. French dip was so dry and salty it took all the moisture out of my mouth. Not enough cheese either to help with how salty and dry it was. Sausage and shrimp dip was off the chain Meat pies were good, a little bland Steak sandwich and carrots - steak sandwich was a little salty but overall was pretty good. Had the glazed carrots as a side and they were very good Bacon jam burger and fries- my son destroyed it so it must have been pretty good. Shrimp Po Boy - pretty good po boy plenty of shrimp but the they have used more seasoning. Overall a very good experience and would definitely visit again when back in town. read more

Absolutely loved this place. Jade, a unique, lovely young woman was friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable about the menu. Had the Royal Reds with remoulade and they were delicious. Cooked perfectly. The menu has some awesome looking dishes that aren't found many places like the Pot Roast poutine. Great atmosphere and a really good beer selection. It's the kinda place you want to spend an afternoon and are sad to leave. In short, it was pretty close to perfect. We visited Ocean Springs on found this small restaurant. This was during a weekday and not crowded at the time we had lunch. Rain sat in and the locals started coming in and this place had the best servers, food, cold beer and locals. We ordered the hot sausage dip. AH-AMAZING! If you like cheese dips, then try this one. We visited Knuckleheads during a visit to the area. This is not a fast food restaurant as a sign inside clearly states. You seat yourself and the service does take a while. The food however, is delicious!!! For an appetizer we did the sampler that comes with 3 appetizers. One of them was a kind of egg roll, another was crawfish hush puppies, and the other was the meat pies. All of them were delicious, especially the egg rolls! I got a candied jalapeño burger with sweet potato fries. This burger is one of the BEST I have ever had!!! It is really a gourmet burger. It was so succulent and the bacon they put on it is incredible. The sweet potato fries are like none I have ever had before! They are the perfect amount of crisp on the outside and so tasty!
