We purchased time to consult with Allison on details months before. Each piece of advice came from tons of experience and expertise. She guided us toward and away aspects that were best for us. --Meeting us at the venue to look for possible ideas, flow of the event, seating charts, etc. Plus advice for day of set up. --A 'ring blessing,' an important, yet difficult-to-coordinate ritual of passing our rings around on a ribbon pre-ceremony. This turned out to be a beautiful, unifying aspect of the day that couldn't have been pulled off with our coordinator --Since my husband and I couldn't be dragged from the dance floor to cut the cake, our coordinator had the great, spontaneous idea to have our brother (baker of the cake) bring it to us on the dance floor. We now have these fun, silly photos of us feeding each other while dancing, something many guests thought was a rehearsed performance but was actually just a wonderful spur-of-the-moment event! --Our day of coordinator brought us drinks and food, ensuring that we ate. With the services that we went with, most of the magic started a little over a month before our actual wedding day. Allison collected all our vendor contracts and worked in parallel with our venue event coordinator to ensure that no detail was missed in the planning process. She created our wedding day timeline and communicated with all our vendors directly to make sure everyone was on the same page.
