Angelina and her husband decorated my wedding at Harveys lake Tahoe march 7,2015. The people at the wedding chapel were a piece of work.! Canceling and moving times like HELLO PEOPLE ALL MY GUEST ARE FLYING IN AT A SPECIFIC TIME YOU CANT KEEP CHANGING SOMEONES WEDDING DATE! UGHH. HATE THAT PLACE. Anywho, angelina was so amazing, she helped me through every single detail, her warehouse is so to die for its not even funny. Tons of great themes and really cool pieces. We did a great Gatsby theme and she had really great 1920's themed stuff. She arrived early, her and her husband set up in record time and they did a great job. Everyone was like ooooooo..ahhhhh. ****COVID BRIDES**** During Covid, I would not recommend this company. They have a very strict cancellation policy (you do know before you agree - just FYI - they're not being sneaky by any means!) but you will not get your money back. During normal time, I've heard they are wonderful. My sister-in-law used them last year for her wedding and was pleased. However, unless you are very certain (like it's your parents backyard!) you will only get 20% of your money back . Luckily, I had only rented a small thing! They definitely have beautiful pieces and do a good job, but during this time I know some other companies have more flexible cancellation policies. read more

The experience my husband and I had at The Entertainer left us a little frustrated unfortunately. The Pros: Angelina and her husband are just the kindest people ever. My mother in law and I met them at one of the wedding shows and we are so glad that we did. They had everything imaginable to plan the wedding of your dreams. Anything from wine barrels, lanterns, etc. Her husband was even so kind and made a wine riddling rack for me to rent to fit the theme of our vineyard wedding. It was perfect! If you're getting married in that area, the price was right for delivery. The prices were also right for rentals as well, I didn't feel as if I were paying an arm and a leg for my items. The Cons: This part disappointed me a little. The communication was a little off. It started out strong with Angelina, and as it got a little closer to the wedding, things changed and the communication was not impressing. I know that wedding season is in full swing and I understand, but I was no longer hearing from Angelina, but from someone she had hired for help- which is fine don't get me wrong! I just wish that since she had been helping me to begin with, that she would've continued helping me through the end since she understood my needs. As I was responding to the new person who was helping me, I still had a lot of questions and last minute items I wanted added on. Although she shortly answered my questions, the "So can we process your payment then?" question really bothered me. I wanted to add more items on, and I felt as if I was being rushed. My final payment was due June 5th, and I had been asking to add a few items on June 1st. They already had my deposit so I was unsure what the rush was on my final payment. I had even wanted to pay to add set up.. my questions were never answered via e-mail. So maybe a day or two before the wedding my husband called to follow up and was told, "Oh yeah we saw your email." Ok then why didn't you respond...? They told him they were very busy... I get that... but if you can't respond to an email then maybe call your customer? They ended up calling me back later that day, but I don't think I would've gotten a call if it weren't for my husband checking up on things. We received our items the day before our wedding and everything was there on time and accounted for except the natural wood topper we had asked for. It was VERY small (maybe 2 ft by 2 ft, I had never even seen it before) and wasn't going to work for a dessert buffet... I made the decision the day before the wedding to keep it, although I was very unhappy. The morning of the wedding I saw how it was set up with the 4- tier wood topper we rented and I was absolutely disappointed. My husband and I decided to call and get it taken care of and the person who had been responding my emails was actually the one who took care of my call. She was very nice about it and accommodating, but no apology for the wrong item was received. My husband and his best man had to drive the morning of the wedding from Genoa to Gardnerville to switch out the table topper. Upon arrival, the gal who took my call argued with my husband, stating that I picked out the topper they delivered. First of all I didn't, I had never even seen the one they delivered before, and second of all, she wasn't even there when we picked out our items so how would she know? When ,my husband and I were there picking out items with Angelina, we pointed out the one we wanted and she took note. I am totally understanding of mistakes cause we are all human, but don't tell my husband and I that we picked that item when you weren't even there. No apology to boot! In the end it was resolved. Fortunately it fit in my husband's car... The day after the wedding was a little hectic. They came to pick up first thing in the morning which was fine. Whether it was my fault or if I should've been there for pick up I don't know. I assumed they would have a list of things that they would be picking up but I guess I was wrong. Upon pick up, they took some of my personal décor as well as some that belonged to another vendor. Again, not the end of the world. My coordinator was able to call and talk to Angelina and we had them redelivered back- no problem. My only concern was how come they didn't have a list of items being picked up? So everything was great up until the very end. Would I recommend this vendor? Absolutely. In my opinion, communication and organization was lacking. read more

Angelina was amazing to work with and super helpful as I live in San Diego and my wedding was in Genoa. Their warehouse is filled with tons of items(literally you won't need to buy any decor for your wedding, just rent it all here) and they were affordable. I was a little disappointed with delivery... we had scheduled for them to deliver everything the day before our wedding from 1-3pm. Time passes and they still had not arrived. At this time(3:30) we had to make the decision to push our rehearsal back (it was scheduled for 4pm) and by 4:30pm we still had not heard from The Entertainer. Eventually I called them to see what was up, they were very apologetic and said they were having car problems all morning and 45 minutes later they finally arrived. I understand that things happen but communication at this point would have been helpful. Even just a quick call that afternoon to let us know they were having issues and that they would be late so we could have had more time to let our caterers + guests know. Aside from that my experience with them was good and they were very nice and had a lot of items to choose from for our wedding. read more

This review is a little overdue, but it's 6 months after our wedding and we are still so glad we found Angelina. I could give 10 stars and it still wouldn't be enough to describe how amazing she was to work with. I don't know how she does it, but her attentiveness and responsiveness made it seem like the only thing going on in her life was our wedding (which I know certainly isn't the case!). She help us put together our vision and provided information on everything she knew from experience throughout the entire planning process pretty much from Day 1. Despite all the craziness that happened the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding itself, we could not have asked for a better execution. Our wedding had a LOT of moving parts to it and to say Angelina was the glue that held it all together is like saying Mike Tyson punches like a... Gummy bear... I'm sure he punches harder, just like Angelina is so much more than the glue. Most weddings probably weren't like ours, where plan A went to plan B and then to plan C and probably D and E that Angelina kind of came up with on the fly.. We had an indoor/outdoor venue in Tahoe and anyone who lives in this area probably knew about the fires/storms that came through in October 2016.. Well, because of this, the wedding plans were changing up until the DAY OF the wedding, but Angelina kept her cool and rolled with all the punches mother nature had to dish out that day... In this case she really did make Tyson seem like a gummy bear. Our venue was in the "danger zone" - the day before our wedding all roads leading up to it were closed due to fires, and the site itself was at risk. Our rehearsal had to be relocated which is a completely separate crazy story by itself, but she spent all her resources that day trying to find us a backup venue in case our original, well, burned down. Having secured a couple potential options, but with a very tight decision schedule, we decided to pass on them and pray and hope our original location held up - which it did! I wouldn't doubt if Angelina prayed harder than all of us that day, hah! Through this entire time, she was in contact with all of our vendors (something like 7 or 8?) to notify them of the possible change in plans and to coordinate new times and locations with each of them... We did eventually get to our venue and it was still there (yay!), but the rain and wind was still going on and our setup had to change completely that day, which affected the flow and timeline of the entire wedding (hence plan D and E that Angelina just kind of came up with). Sparing the details, at the end of the night, our wedding was absolutely PERFECT. I would not have traded any of it for our original plan. The experience, excitement, and volatility all made this wedding the most memorable wedding in history and made for one of the most epic photos ever to boot! And NONE of it would have been possible without Angelina. Just end your research here and give her a call - She's quite simply the best choice you'll ever make for your wedding... Angelina was our wedding coordinator but she really ended up being so much more! She ordered all of the linens, coordinated all the rental drop offs and pick-ups, and spoke to all of our venues and vendors ahead of time AND went through all of our contracts. I'm sure she did far more than that, too. We wrestled with the idea of working with a coordinator or if we could handle it on our own, but now I do not see how I could have ever made it through the day of the wedding without Angelina. Planning a destination wedding is stressful enough, but when you are trying to work with vendors and venue coordinators on the same day that you are meeting them, it can be overwhelming. Luckily, Angelina knew where all our vendors were at all times and made sure that everyone was on task. It did not feel like we were working with a wedding venue, reception venue, photographer, florist, DJ, and photobooth, instead Angelina made it feel like they were just one big team. We cannot stress enough how much of a relief it was to see her handling all the phone calls on our wedding day and the confidence she gave us that everything was going to work out exactly as we wanted. She directed everyone and really took charge to make the day run as planned. We had our ceremony and reception in two different locations, one being on top of a mountain where you have to ride a gondola, (seems so complicated!) but she made sure the transition from ceremony to reception was seamless. Everything was set up even more beautifully than I could have imagined. I was in awe walking into both sites for the first time seeing everything set up. It was just perfect! We also rented some items from her warehouse. If we were local we would have planned our entire wedding off of their inventory. They have décor for every theme you can think of, those details that really can make an event. If you're looking for your day to be perfect too, then don't hesitate to go with the Tahoe Entertainer! I used the entertainer for the most important day of my life, my wedding day! And they forgot to deliver half of my table linens. When they final got to my venue hours later all my colors were messed up, the lengths were all different from each other and some were oval and some were square. Daisy did a fantastic job coordinating my reception at Valhalla in October. We were both incredibly busy when we started working together and had some trouble finding a time when both of us were free. Don't worry if you can't get a hold of her immediately - she's gotten your voicemail or email and she's thinking about you. In the end, she didn't let anything slip through the cracks. The venue itself looked even better than I had imagined! I had only visited Valhalla once during the winter, so I didn't have a good feel for the place or what I wanted decor-wise. She knew exactly what would look great for the space. On top of the normal rentals, she has all sorts of very reasonably priced knick-knacks and accessories to rent. She's even got a buy-back program if you don't want to keep something you've purchased (when are you gonna use those table numbers again, anyway?). The Entertainer was great! I was the lucky winner of one of their raffles, winning the AWESOME six foot 'LOVE' letters. Those letters are AMAZING and they look so cool! I was thrilled that I had won and we ended up hiring them for the set up and tear down for the event, as well as providing a variety of odds and ends we needed. Angelina was very patient with the many changes that needed to be made. They were also VERY accommodating, especially with working out a deal with our centerpieces. I absolutely have to say that they went above and beyond to try to make everything work out as best as possible. The biggest hiccup for us is that both Aaron and I have amazing families... We had hired the Entertainer to help set up and they came with a plan... But a plan that didn't involve the 30+ folks from our family who also surprised us to help set up. We felt VERY loved but I am afraid that the set up and tear down didn't go quite as planned, because of the chaos of having so many helpful people there. But I would not say that is the fault of the Entertainer. They have some beautiful items to rent, they go above and beyond to help your vision come alive and they are a great couple. These guys fucking rock! Our wedding would have probably been ugly as hell without The Entertainer. Every other option in the area didn't even come close to having inventory that matched my vision. Everything they own/make is beautiful-- I could spend forever in their warehouse. The whole lot of them are super laid back and easy to work with. I changed my mind, added, and removed things about 100 times and they were always cool with it--even the day of. I think they made 4 different trips out to our venue and always did it with a smile on their faces. I told Angelina what I was thinking, theme-wise, and she knocked it out of the park. I rented chairs for my son and daughter in laws wedding, the we're there on time and picked them up. I recently through a murder mystery party and rented several items from them. I called the day before was able to get more than I thought a and was very very happy with them. Angela and Rich are very pleasant people to work with. They deliver and pick up. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! Daisy and her family were horrible and could not handle the day of the event. They showed up late, gave excuses and were rude when approached. Daisy didn't do half of what was committed and the staff was rude all night. Her assistant was disorganized and the most rude was Daisy's blond haired daughter that was on staff. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in a company that you would expect to have stellar customer service skills and impeccable timing the day of. Daisey at The Entertainer was the main reason why my wedding was a huge success. I got married in an outdoor venue without power or running water. Daisey was unphased by the difficulties and made the day go so smoothly one would never have guessed how many hours of preparation it needed to be pulled off. Daisey and all her staff were incredibly professional and worked well with my mother, numerous friends and family who helped to do different tasks, and the other vendors. Daisey was even able to speak Spanish with my flower girl who only spoke Spanish. The equipment we rented was high quality. On top of this the price was perfectly reasonable. Rich & Angelina are the new owners and they are amazing!! They have this warehouse that is huge that has ever single thing that you could possibly need or want at your wedding or party! Whatever they don't have Rich can most likely make for you and they can even personalise things for you! Angelina is so much fun to work with and has some very cool ideas... she can take your dream and make it a reality! ! The prices are right and they have great follow through! I'm a wedding photographer and send all of my clients their way and I use them for all of my own parties and any wedding and craft shows that I do just to make my booths really pop like they should! If I could give the entertainer negative stars I would. They ruined my sisters wedding and caused endless stress for all involved with the wedding planning. They were over extended and showed up with staff who had already worked 21 hours. Daisy pays no attention to detail and has zero follow through. We paid her over $3000 just for the day of coordination and she failed miserably to even get the cake cut and served. Numerous ideas that had been discussed for months were not realized and by the end of the night it was so unpleasant because her staff, particularly her daughter started cursing and yelling get the f@@@ out at us who were left gathering the bride and grooms gifts. My father, who had just paid her over 10 grand was included as well as grandparents and the family of the groom. We had done nothing to provoke such rudeness and it was the icing on a very sour cake. These people are extremely unprofessional and I would never recommend daisy and her staff to anyone. They showed up around noon the day of the wedding when the ceremony was to start at 2:30 and then proceeded to lie to us as to why they were late saying it was due to a flat tire when in reality one of their staff let it slip that they had to go to another venue to pick up the tables they had rented to someone the day before. They also threatened us when we tried to gather the vases that belonged to the florist. It was a terrible experience for a day that is supposed to be joyous and flawless, especially when you put faith in someone to run the show. Our disappointment cannot be expressed enough. What can I say?! I'm still on a wedding high, and it's all thanks to The Entertainer. Recently, my father in law was diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away 5 days before our wedding reception. Throughout the process, Angelina and all the staff at The Entertainer were supportive and patient, as I had to change plans quite frequently. I have never had an event run so smoothly, with seamless transitions, and everyone has been raving about the party non-stop! Angelina's attention to detail is impeccable, and she took my visions, Pinterest boards etc. and made it come alive. All of the staff were professional and experienced, handling every hiccup and problem with ease, and I was completely oblivious to anything going awry, because they handed it before I even knew! My advice would be to trust the process, because it can be overwhelming with all of the wonderful things they have to choose from, and it's often difficult to see how it will all come together... I am eternally grateful for The Entertainer because they allowed me to have a spectacular time with my family and friends, which is worth the world to me, especially with the recent events that have occurred in our lives. I rented 3 chafing dishes for a rehearsal dinner at my home. They assured me that the $15.per item fee included 2 - 4 hour sternos per dish. I didn't check! So when the food came and I found 1 empty citronella torch per chafing dish- the food was in trouble. $30 worth of sterno from smiths later my 3 rented chafing dishes cost $75 total.
