Had a problem with our interior door to the garage not turning properly. Suffered with it for well over a year and finally decided to call a locksmith but so overwhelmed by who to call. Found Key Magician to have good reviews. Setting up the appointment on the phone they were courteous and professional, helped me ascertain what the problem for the door actually was and time estimate. The day the technician arrived, how ironic that the side door to let him in started to malfunction! Very serendipitous. On the downside, I had to wait over a week for him. (Maybe if it had been a house key and not a mailbox key it would have been quicker.) On the upside, he was prompt and friendly. AND when I let him into the inner lobby of my condo, he said he didn't like the way the lock was working--and after fixing my mailbox, he fixed the lobby lock. For free. i bought a remote key for a 2007 honda accord about 8 months ago. just started using it about a month ago and it worked for a few times and it would not unlock the doors!!!! took it back 3 times and they changed the battery. that did not work and had the same problem!!!! jeff the new owner would not refund the $90.00 dollars and or replace it!!!! consumer warning do not use this locksmith because they have extremely bad poor customer service!!! they are complete ripoff!!! note these review posted are probably the owner, friends and family!!! read more

They're friendly, but their prices are high and they have bad hours. M-F 8ish to 5ish makes it hard for those of us that work "normal" hours to get here. I had a good experience getting a key made for an old lock a couple years back for $10-$12 for 2 keys. I had a bad experience where they wanted $18-$20 to get the same thing done recently. It was cheaper to order a new lock from the manufacturer than to have them make a couple keys. The code was on the lock, how hard can it be? If the prices were still reasonable, I guess they're OK, but since they're sky high now my best advice is to go elsewhere. read more

It's funny, there's a magic themed shop a couple doors down, for some comical misunderstandings from new customers. The prices are high here but this needs to be considered in light of the economics of the business. Hardly any places copy 21st century car keys and even this place, call ahead with the specific make and model to make sure. Compared to the only real competition, car dealerships, the prices here are actually lower. You can waste a lot of time trying the places that used to make car key copies, auto parts stores and hardware stores - they only make copies for 20th century cars, and most of their workers are idiots so you'll either get the long run around and wait in person, or a long wait on hold with a bunch of stupid and insulting non-answers on the phone. This place can answer your call right away, give you a quick and accurate answer, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. It would have been faster if I didn't have to bother the unfortunate worker with my annoying sense of humor. Easy street parking in front. read more
