I took a pair of gorgeous (fairly expensive) tan high-heeled leather wedges to these guys to have the stitching repaired between the two pieces of the front panel of one of the shoes because it had begun to come undone. While one of the employees and I discussed what would be required to be done to repair it, I specifically asked that the style and colour of the stitching could please match the other shoe as closely as possible. The reason being because the type of stitching style was top-stitching, ie: it is a feature of the shoe and meant to be seen. The employee seemed to understand completely.
However, when I returned to collect my shoe, the stitching had been pulled in far too tight, causing both sides of the front panel to be puckered, and the stitching colour did not resemble the original colour whatsoever!! Also, they had left a large, very lumpy knot on the underneath of the panel, which dug into the top of my large toe! Mind you, I could barely even squeeze into the shoe, because it had been made too narrow due to the overly tight stitching.
Naturally, I was very upset about this botched repair job, as one shoe now looked totally different from the other, and was virtually unwearable. I explained my dissatisfaction to the guy who had done the job, and he wasn't apologetic or even very concerned at all. Therefore, I very highly suggest that anyone who wants quality repairs and workmanship carried out on items which they have spent their hard earned cash on, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!
