I was a HELOC customer and they charge an annual fee. Well looking at the statement it appears the annual fee is charged to the line of credit. Nope, they bill it individually but they include it as a line item on your statement. So when I paid $40 over my minimum it didn't cover the $65 fee. The following month exactly 30 days later my auto payment hit again and paid the remaining $20. This scumbag company reported me 30+days late to the credit bureau and collections for essentially money that was paid to them that day. I never got a call, a letter, or an email saying I was late. There was no notification on my dashboard when I signed in every month. But the made sure to smear me on the exact 30th day late on $20 despite being paid that day. It took days to get an answer and I had to spend a few hours sorting through statements piecing it together myself because nobody could tell me why and no management would return my call. Despite no late payments in 3+ years with them they couldn't remove the late mark as a courtesy. The basically said it was my fault and they don't owe any phone calls, or email, or notifications you are late. I got one call it was from the collections dept 1 month later. I returned the call immediately and he said he had no idea why he was contacting me and to disregard. That's the only call I ever got. Now I'm preparing to get a loan to start a business and I run a credit checo and find I was reported 60 day late to TransUnion. So now I'm disputing it. This company ruined my 10yr record of over 1k payments on time. Perfect credit screwed by this circus of a bank. I paid 2k extra the month before and an extra regular payment but it ment nothing. All I needed was to know I was past due and I would of paid them no problem. I'm now trying to figure out how to take them to small claims or anything to return the favor. I have an appointment with a consumer rights attorney next week. Save yourself the heartache and stress and avoid this place all together.

Someone hacked my husband's account after several failed attempts Eaton can see they successfully hacked and took $750 through paypal. After months of phone calls to Robin, Kelly her manager and Mike the alleged CEO no one will return a call or assist. Paypal said all our institution needs to do is file a claim and they will not. Go to a real credit union. This operation isn't it! I hope someone from this business sees this and contacts us.

i am leaving keybank. worst customer service ever!!!…read morekeybank sent me a defective updated m/c; it did not work after it was activated. it took me an 1.5 hours to discover that the card was the problem. i spent another 2 hours in 3 separate calls to key customer service. i live with severe chronic illness & having a working credit card is essential as i need to purchase everything online. many of my bills are set up as auto pay on my credit card directly or thru paypal to the same card. yesterday i was promised a new card would be rush ordered overnight and i would receive it today. i was repeatedly lied to. on my 4th call to a supervisor he said it looked like the card mailed today (i would not receive it today) and i would need to use me debit card in the meantime. i need to have an active credit card to purchase essentials & in case of emergency. i live alone with severe chronic illness. i need a working m/c delivered to my home today. i am leaving all corporations that make my life harder & worse. this is completely unacceptable & inexcusable when the initial non working card is key's fault & has created so much unnecessary stress and this is not the first time key has mistreated me & my account. i have been with key since i was 12yo; i'm 64y0. i have had it!!! i will transfer all my banking to a local credit union that doesn't support fossil fuels & fascist corporations.
