Is it possible to award no stars?…read more I called the 24/7 customer service number provided in my email, with a couple inquiries on a transaction I had made that day. I was connected to "John P." from Salt Lake City whom was unbelievable rude and couldn't answer any questions of mine. I don't know how he is a customer service agent in the first place since he wouldn't listen to my questions or concerns and was giving me the same advice over and over: call back the next business day. He didn't even know how to answer my basic questions, which lead to my frustration and me asking to be connected to a manager or supervisor. I asked him for his name, which he then started YELLING and rambling off this information to me. I again asked to be transferred which he said he couldn't do, and then asked for my name. At this point I was in no mood to humor him (and was feeling uncomfortable) and asked ONCE AGAIN to be transferred. All he did was place me on hold (not transferring me). My advice: if you call customer service and get anyone named "John" from Salt Lake City HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. If you don't want your day to be ruined or don't want to get yelled at or end up frustrated then do as I say!

I called them immediately and they fixed it. But the next morning I log in and my name is back to my pre married name. This will screw up my direct deposits. I've been married eight years. I changed my name with the bank eight years ago and they reverted it back for no reason. Customer service refused to help. My husband and I are planning on closing our accounts and opening new ones elsewhere to a national bank. We are moving out of state anyways and I bank also online with SoFi, so we want a brick and mortar bank as well. No need for Mountain America. I wouldn't recommend or trust them. They broke KYC regulations by changing my name for no reason.

I needed money wired from my account to complete a purchase of a condominium. I thought it would take a few days to wire the money. But to my surprise, it was received the next day and the title company was able to complete the transaction and close the loan that day! They completely understood my situation and did everything they could to help me with it! They bent over backwards - knowing that I could save some money if I closed early and they made it happen!
