5340 Peerless St Baton Rouge LA 70811...im currently living here. It infested with Roaches. Trees surrounding house is full of flying Roaches. Landlord kiva kendrick and the property owner never on the same page. I'm trying for the third time to move when my lease was up...but owner won't sign because she likes the housing voucher its constant. Repair are not constant. This property is a trap...never sign a lease when you sharing room and board with Flying Roaches...just saying...also haven't spoken to anyone in weeks. read more

I have to say I'm surprised to see the reviews as I've been always very satisfied with this management company! I've had my home out there (Darrow, LA) since August 2005 and I live in the Los Angeles area. Only been there once to visit. In short they've been a great company to have and never had issues with the property and them taking care of issues. They are HORRIBLE at their job!!! They NEVER answer the phone! Me and all of my 3 roommates have left at least 5 messages each about things that need to be repaired on the house since we moved in two months ago and they have not called us back! We had to threaten to take legal action to get our deposit back from the last house. The only way to get in contact with them is to actually go over to their office and talk to them. They dont even deserve one star. read more

Property owners beware: after questioning Jeffrey Welsh, Keyfinders owner, about some maintenance bills we were charged, he was rude and super unprofessional. He said that my expectations were too high because the last tenant they vetted caused over $5,000 in damages and I felt they could have done a better job finding us a reliable tenant. Even after all that, we stayed with them only to get a letter three weeks later they were terminating our contract! We'll be switching to Remax that has already given us better customer service! read more

@KeyfindersTeam Carol Poche did not act in my best interest when selling my home. She did not keep up with the sale of my home costing me a lot of money. Home was under contract about a week after it was on the market. Carol advised taking the offer although purchasers preapproval was questionable. Home was scheduled to close 30 days after selling agreement signed. Seller/lender continued to request extensions which Carol advised me to agree to. After all extensions, home was scheduled to close more than 60 days after selling agreement was signed. Lender finally denied the loan less than a week from the last scheduled closing date. Carol never followed up to understand the reasons for the extensions or to learn the loan probably wouldn't be approved. Home went back on market and was under contract in one week then closed 30 days later. Gave me prices for her vendors to make requested repairs - actual bills were 50% higher. Did not respond promptly to text or email. Don't feel she tried negotiating on my behalf - seemed like she was just ready to take any offer just to sell it for commission. read more

These people are terrible property managers. I moved out of state and hired them to manage the renting of my home until I was able to sell it. All they actually did was collect payments and deposit them into my account, barely ever on time. I had insurance coverage for miscellaneous repairs that they failed to utilize and then stuck me with the bill. The one time I gave them permission to call an outside electrican was only because the repair was supposed to be made sooner than what my insurance could accommodate. However, instead of an electrician, they called a plumber who told them I needed an electrician and the repairs still haven't been made a month later. And now they are billing me $250 for a repair I never actually authorized when my insurance would have only charged me $75 no matter how many people had to come out to make the repair. And as for the background checks they perform, they don't. I had a stripper and her 3 boyfriends living in my house before I found out just prior to eviction, who then shut the power off and ruined my refrigerator. Where were the people manging the property? If anything, these people are simply rent collectors, bad ones at that. read more

Never rent or buy from Keyfinders. They painted my windows shut and then plastered and painted my ceilings without telling me. It took them two weeks to open my windows so my apartment could properly ventilate. They never told me they were going to plaster and paint my ceilings and they got plaster and paint on my belongings and refused to reimburse me. I also didn't have heat in my apartment during the hard freeze that LA experienced in late December and early January. They tried to kick me out after I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and walked into my apartment unannounced as I slept. They are horrible people. read more

These people were awful. If you go on their website and click on "contact us," you'll see the contact info for Rena Cannon and Brittany Coursey. I first contacted Ms. Coursey about a house. Not only was she quite rude, she was completely unprofessional and was unable to answer any of my questions about the property. So the next time I saw a property that was managed by them that I was interested in, I tried to contact Ms. Cannon. She emailed me back with Brittany Coursey's number. So again, I called Ms. Coursey. And again, she was rude, unprofessional, and had no clue about the property. I already couldn't stand this girl but I needed a house, and they somehow manage a lot of properties. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt and decided it would be unreasonable for her to know about every single property. So I emailed her a list of homes we were interested in. A week later, still no response. I wrote her again asking her about the properties. This time, I asked her a specific question because I could see actually doing her job was too much to handle. Her response: "No." I should've listened to the Google reviews warning the general public to not use them. The take-home message: they are useless. read more

I wish I could give lower than a star because they aren't even worth 1 star! We lived in one of their rentals for 3.5 years. We rarely called in with service requests as we did the work ourselves when we could. We used our own funds and built a fence to secure the backyard after several teens used our backyard as a gateway to their friend's house and would dump trash in our yard. When we bought our current house and gave our notice that's when the real problems began. We paid for a professional house cleaner and a professional carpet cleaner to get the house ready for the next tenant. However, we were only given less than $200 of our $1500 deposit back because it wasn't clean to "their satisfaction" (Despite the carpet being disgusting when we moved in, the last tenant's stuff still in the attic and a thick tar like substance on the kitchen cabinets that I could never remove). When I went to the office to talk to them about moving out and what was required, Renee was less than friendly. At one point she answered her cell phone in the middle of me saying something to her, ignoring our conversation. I wouldn't not recommend Keyfinders to my worse enemy. Brandon is the only valuable employee there in my opinion. read more
