It was awesome to see the assortment of vendors from all over the country displays their crafts and wares. I saw a ton of jewelry and house wares displayed. Some vendors that stood out to me were the basket weaver, hand painted silk dress maker, inlaid wood creations, as well as a teepee and bow and arrow maker. The vendors I spoke with were friendly and my "pushy" for a sale what-so-ever. The market seemed well organized and I especially liked how it was located down two streets with room to move. I would definitely check them out if you are in the area and appreciate creativity and craftsmanship.

From the delicate new and vintage jewelry, to the frameable greeting cards, to high end teas (daily sample available), and cotton frocks sprinkled throughout, I felt like I could have spent two hours in this small shop and still not have seen everything. Yet, it doesn't feel overwhelming, because the merchandising skills utilized here just made it a pleasure to wander this way and that, admiring all the little touches. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was debating carrying a mini gf key lime pie home, but after discussing my options with them, realized it would be too long of a flight but they do offer shipping with dry ice so you don't have to stress getting it home safely; which is what I'll be doing for my mom's birthday. I did purchase the mini gluten free pie and it was delicious. It was not the brighter colored green that some people expect out of the pie; which I appreciated because I don't want added ingredients and colors in my food. The key lime flavor came through and the pie itself was a lighter fluffier texture which made it easier to justify eating the entire thing. I recommend either a visit or just an online order straight to your door!

Strangely, I have been coming to the Keys for over 40 years and have never had a key lime pie. This shop had key lime pie in a plastic cup for easy eating on the go. The shop allowed customers to view the very clean kitchen while they ate the pies. We came with a bunch of people and ordered a few key lime pies and we dug in. THE RESULTS ARE IN: Creamy with a nice sweet key lime taste but at the very bottom was the graham crackers crust (i hope it was) but was very thinly grinded the texture was not what I expected - just a big disappointment but maybe the full pies are better, but i assume the same ingredients. Each one of us in my group had the same high expectation that fell short.
