Really horrible experience. Hired This law firm on retainer about eight months ago. Put a pretty penny into it. I guess my dad didn't die fast enough because all of a sudden they decided to fire me. I wasted a lot of time and money retaining this law firm only to be let go. What is the point of retaining an attorney if they get upset if things don't happen fast enough. They also kept my consult money even though I retained them and they chose to end the relationship. My experience has been that they are just after money and not actually interested in being retained or utilized for long term services. So unless you're going to drop a ton of money quickly - not the firm for you. They also charged me $117 for a single email. read more

Update, (delayed due to personal circumstances). After my not so positive experience attempting to set an appointment, I was surprised to be contacted by the firm to invite us to a meeting with one of their attorney's, (which is an 'upgrade' to their initial Free 'meet & greet', 'Discovery' consultation. This meeting went well, though without being provided a compelling reason to engage in a contract and high 'a-la-carte' pricing we could not be sure of the investment that would ultimately be required to attain our goals of avoiding probate and asset preservation. (Perhaps the 'asset-pile' was too small? Too Little, Too Late. We're pretty sure we've Finally found someone with Our best interests at heart. I hope You find the same. Keep Looking. read more

My family was facing delay after delay in trying to resolve a probate case and getting nowhere with our attorney. We needed someone else who could help us. I researched and came upon Keystone lawfirm and was impressed from the very first call. We learned more about the process and where things stood just from our initial meeting with them. They reviewed our documents and called with follow-up questions to clarify any missing gaps. They were very communicative, thorough, professional, and surprisingly compassionate. Maybe it's just me, but I typically don't associate compassion with attorneys. Within less than 2 weeks, we had an answer and were given sound legal advice. More than our previous attorney had provided in a whole year. While I don't have much experience with law firms, I was kinda shocked about the retainer fee but willing to pay given how competent and professional they were. What I didn't expect was receiving a pretty large refund after they had given us advice. My jaw literally dropped. They could have charged me and strung me along to use the rest up, but they didn't. This is integrity! I hope to never have to call an attorney again, but if I do, I'll be calling Keystone. Francisco, Alison, Mark, Levon (I'm sure I'm spelling her name wrong but referring to the last who answers the phones) are an amazingly talented team and my only regret was not finding them sooner. read more

I called Keystone Law Firm to file probate. I informed Carly my step brother was belligerent and wasn't allowing me to come and get my Mother's personal belongings. I was quoted the set fee for the projected amount would be $5,000.00. When I asked, "What if the estate was a lot smaller," Carly informed me I would be reimbursed the difference. I was reassured that would be all I'd pay as I stressed I did not have even the $5,000 but would have to come up with it. This was in early December. She set me up to chat with Fransisco at which time he discussed what they do first was to hire Estate Management first to go into the estate property and remove the step brother and search for a missing will and upon leaving would vacate the property and change the locks. Even when I questioned what they'd find after my step brother being there for seven months no doubt searched the trailer and no doubt disposed of any current will he reassured me Estate Management knew places to look. This was all a lie. Estate Management could do no such thing nor did I nor my daughter ever see any evidence of Estate Management ever being there after we were told it would all be in the portal when their office received it which they said was basically very little since the step brother was never asked to leave nor were the locks changed. Again, the story changed. It went from minimal boxes of papers to five big boxes. Dan assured me the cost to search the papers was free. This took them until February to file at which time they supposedly filed probate. And last talking to Estate Management who was not pleased at all with the handling of ordering them to go to the estate they haven't as of the day I spoke with them been paid. Before this took place, in January they went completely through the $5,000 and wanted $5,000 more. I started receiving bills from the firm. Say what? I was told $5,000 was the set fee. Another lie! They told me I signed a fee agreement upon retaining them. They even went as far as to tell me they have a copy with my signature in their files. Thank God for my daughter because she insisted after they ignored my plea that they produce a copy of said signed fee. Of course there was NONE! Daniel and Sharie both admitted someone goofed. Now they are expecting me to pay for their goof up at which I reassured them I would never have agreed to take them on at such a ridiculous fee since as first thought there is very little in the estate. My daughter involved the Arizona bar association at which time Keystone then removed her as potential personal rep of the estate. When asked why, Daniel said it was because she abused his staff and they would not work with her. I said I thought it was due to her calling the Arizona bar association at which his response was if I wanted her back on he would do it for me. All games and no professionalism at all with these people. The harassment began. Their firm sent me the fee agreement to sign every day for a month to be signed even after I told them NO. Each time they would say they would have to withdraw from my case. The attorneys like children took turns calling me and dragging their conversations out all to get their fee agreement signed promising me it would all be reimbursed by the judge during probate. As for the bar association, they are claiming probate was never filed correctly so now I don't know if I can even get my $5,000 reimbursed even though Fransisco, Michael, Daniel and Carly all swear probate has been filed. In the meantime the step brother caught wind and filed probate a few days after Carly claims they filed. Daniel had the hearings consolidated instead of me just going to their hearing which was scheduled first and objecting at 0 cost as was advised to do by the court reporter. Next, before the rescheduled hearing another threat to withdraw from the case was made. Blackmail I call it...just do it already. So, I initially paid a set fee of $5,000 and because of all their lies and deceit I am representing myself and at peace since Daniel finally withdrew them from the case. Not an honest law firm at all. Being I am in northwestern Pa. and they are in Chandler, AZ. I guess their goal was to get one over on me but between my daughter and me, we are smarter than all that. The only dumb move was trusting Keystone Law Firm. There is so much more I could print but this gives you an idea how they operate. After viewing their online presentation, I booked a $75 appointment they said would be with an attorney. The woman I saw and I agreed that the goal of our meeting was to leave with a clear understanding of my options. Well, I left confused. Their only recommendation was a trust for someone with a net worth of under $200,000 and income from SS and a small pension of less that $2,00 a month. I subsequently learned that the firm only offers trusts, that most attorneys do not charge anything for an initial consultation, and that the woman I saw was not even a paralegal but a "customer service representative." They will make mistakes and not fix them until it is either almost too late or it is already too late. If they feel you need to make payments to the "client account" they will call up and DEMAND payment within 24hrs or they will drop you as a client. They will take your case as far as they can then they will drop you once the case becomes too hard for them to solve. They will appear in court and be totally prepared, unprofessional, and will then make up excuses for their failures. They will tell you that any money that they do not use from the "client account" will be returned, this is a lie. I referred my mother to Francisco Sirvent at Keystone Law Firm, for her divorce case. Francisco said that he hired a family law attorney who has 10 years of experience and she will help us with the case. Susan Pintel, the family law attorney, missed a MAJOR deadline for exhibits and witnesses. Mrs. Pintel verbally agreed with both my mother and I during our initial meeting that as long as we give her the list of witnesses and exhibits by the end of the day on Monday, then she will file them. Mrs. Pintel did not file the documents as promised. After asking Mrs. Pintel about the missed deadline, she responded with, "there was a lot of moving parts." Mrs. Pintel, and Francisco Sirvent both said that missing the deadline for Exhibits and Witnesses would "not be a big deal." That's horrible to hear from a law firm. After more delays and failures to communicate from Keystone Law Firm, and a shady request for more money after never receiving monthly invoices as promised, my mother fired Keystone Law Firm. Fast forward to trial, and the "not a big deal" turned out to be a huge deal. The judge did not allow my mother to use her exhibits or witnesses during her trial because Mrs. Pintel missed the deadline, and my mother's case was completely ruined. Francisco sent my mother an invoice 2-3 weeks after we requested our money back, and Keystone Law Firm used even MORE money after we fired them. Another $1,500!!. After emailing Francisco about how ridiculous this is, he didn't respond. I will never refer a family member, or any of my clients to this firm, nor should you use them for your legal needs. Disappointed. Apparently the free consultation is simply discussing high level information with the individual on the phone, who offers zero legal advice. Met with one of their attorneys to interview them for a probate and was charged $125 for the hour long strategy session but told if I chose to not use the firm this money would be refunded. After interviewing 3 different attorneys I chose a different firm. I emailed the attorney at Keystone of my decision, since I wanted it in writing. No response, but two days later I received a phone call to see what my decision was from someone other than the original attorney. I explained I had chosen another firm, that I had emailed their attorney with no response, and would like them to refund my $125. They said, no that was the fee for the strategy session, which as far as I was concerned was just a high level consultation. No action items were prepared, no real detailed strategy was developed. I contacted Keystone Law to prepare legal papers for my father (a trust, power of attorney etc.). My elderly father (90) was very comfortable with Francisco. Francisco was very respectful, but also he made it clear that my father had to make some very important decisions about the trust 's beneficiaries. Francisco walked him through the decision process and most importantly he made it clear that he worked for my father and made sure that the trust met my father's wishes. The package Francisco offered was very reasonably priced and also quite complete. So I was impressed. But it was Francisco's office ability to deal with the unexpected that really impressed me. We found it necessary to expedite the process due to my father's illness. They quickly responded and made everything happen with very short notice; something other law firms aren't very good at doing. Because of them, everything was completed in time and we are extremely satisfied. But the story continues. Now that I'm the trustee, I count on their continued support to meet my responsibilities. Michelle, an associate attorney, has been there to help me with every detail. My out-of-state investment advisor needed some documents and I gave him Michelle's contact information. Once I confirmed that she could release documents to him, she did it immediately. My investment advisor told me that Michelle was one of the best trust lawyers he's dealt with in terms of providing documents and answering questions in a very timely manner; once again not very common with other law firms. Overall, we all are extremely satisfied with the quality of their work, their ability to respond to problems rapidly, and their follow through. Great lawyers like those at Keystone are a bargain in the long run! read more

Trash lawyers, they will promise you everything, but end up not meeting up to any of their standards. They take days to communicate, miss deadlines, and create horrible excuses.
