If you're looking for something truly unique in Jacksonville, The Cove Social Club is such a hidden…read moregem! Located in a 101-year-old building that used to be an A&P grocery store, this space perfectly blends history, creativity, and community. I love that so much of the original architecture has been preserved -- and the fact that it was designed by a woman architect back in the day makes it even more special. The Cove offers so much: daily coffee service, cooking and cake-decorating classes in "The Lab," yoga and meditation on Wellness Wednesdays, Social Sundays focused on mindfulness and connection, and even Art & Wine nights where you can sip, snack, and paint while listening to live music. They're also about to open Sticks & Stones, a private cigar club next door that will be available to members -- it's going to be such a great addition to the experience. The next membership cohort begins November 1st, and spots are limited to just 150 members to keep things community-focused and personal. They also host networking events, lectures, and business education workshops, so it's a great mix of social and professional. Whether you come for a coffee, an event, or to meet new people, The Cove Social Club is one of those places that makes you feel instantly connected and inspired.

Went to the Monday night BINGO had a good time. The atmosphere was hilarious and entertaining. I…read moreenjoyed myself, I am use to playing Bingo in California and their system here in Florida was very different. California payout are huge compared to Florida. I had asked in the beginning how do they payout for each game. I was told it depends on the number of players. So, I am thinking about $50 or $75 per game being I paid $16 for a 3 pack. I sat down and began organizing my cards and getting ready to play. All is well, there is a nice refreshment table of foods. I thought to myself darn if I only knew I would not have stopped at Hardees and bought my dinner. Also, they had bought pizza and all the food there was free. The games began and the first game lasted only 2 minutes and someone hit a BINGO. They were verifying the Bingo when I notice I would have won the first game if I had understood there was 8 different ways to win. That was my bad and I thought to myself there are 14 more chances to win. Well would you know it I hit a BINGO. I was so HAPPY inside. But, I had to split the game they paid me and I got a whole whopping $6. I hit another BINGO by myself! woohoo yeah and then another payout I got $12 this time. They payout are small but you can not put a price on KINDNESS and genuinely nice people. I enjoyed being around the people. I found a BINGO buddy who will pick me up to go with her to play. If they will have me, I will be going again to play BINGO!

My biggest complaint? Smoking is allowed in this place!! The whole building interior smells like a giant ash tray. As you can imagine, major smoking going on at the bar - including the bartenders. Yes, they have 'smoke eaters' overhead, but those things are useless! I rarely visit here for this very reason, otherwise I'd use their facilities much more often.
