I've parked in the same spot every single day for the past two years with no issues. I got home from work around 8 PM, parked as usual, and when I went outside at 8 AM to leave for work, my car was gone. They towed my vehicle 10 miles away and then charged me $300 to get my own car back. The person who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude during the entire interaction. He told me my car was towed because my permit "wasn't shown," even though it absolutely was. He also admitted they towed another car because the permit was "hidden," which tells me they are not even properly checking for permits before towing people's vehicles. When I questioned their pricing, he said that if I needed a tow from the side of the road it would be a "different rate," but refused to tell me what that rate even is. Completely sketchy and suspicious behavior. The fact that they can't or won't provide the standard roadside tow rate raises more concerns about the legitimacy of the $300 charge. I also asked for an itemized receipt and proof that my permit supposedly "wasn't there," and they refused to provide either. That alone says everything about how they operate. This was completely unnecessary, stressful, and expensive--especially when my permit was visible the whole time. Their behavior shows a lack of care, professionalism, and accuracy when towing from residential areas.

I took my car to Yancey's Auto Body after someone hit my rear quarter panel in a parking garage,…read moreand I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The repair looks fantastic you'd never know there was damage there at all. Garry was who I worked with, and he was great very personable, thorough, and kept me in the loop throughout the process. They had my car for about a week and a half, and while it did take an extra day, it was because they needed to bring someone in to properly recalibrate the blind spot sensors after the repair. I appreciated that they took the time to do it right instead of rushing it out the door. Before choosing a shop, I asked around on Facebook, and Yancey's was the only place that got consistent, all positive feedback and now I get why. Highly recommend. If I ever need body work again (hopefully not anytime soon), this is exactly where I'll go.
