Got tires 2 years ago and they broke my tire sensor, told them about it they told me to go in that they'd take care of it, which they "did" at the time few months later got tire sensor light again no big deal, lately been hearing weird noise so took it to kantners in shoey and they told me to come look at the tire....all these dudes from CJs was duct tape the sensor, never replaced it. I know just enough about cars to get myself in trouble if I tried to repair something. However That knowledge only makes me aware when Someone is trying to sell unnecessary work. The good: I like the place, It's friendly and they are knowledgeable, so they know what they are doing unlike other CJ's I dealt with. The bad: I ordered 4 new tires with a corporate discount and $70 rebate which was stated by the site Manager over the phone!! The bad thing is that I was told at the last minute after the job was completed while I was checking out and paying the bill that ""aahh, Sir...my fault ...there is no rebate!!"by their Manager. They took $20 off the bill BUT $20 off doesn't equal $70 off. I would have appreciated it if I was told that before installing the tires instead of promising something over the phone and then not delivering it. Based on those $70 rebate, I choose these tires over my favorite continentals. read more

Stopped in for the first time because there was a nail in my wife's tire and they're pretty close to my house... The mechanic pulled the nail, but it had not gone all the way through the tread. He did make sure that there was no leak to worry about. I'm guessing that it must have been more of a short roofing nail... Since there was no need to actually patch/plug the tire, there was no charge. :) It wasn't even that we bought the tires from them since my wife's car is still on it's original set (23K miles). They have free WiFi, free coffee, plenty of seating in the waiting area and there was a copy of the Reading Eagle newspaper in one of the chairs (but I can't say for sure if the paper was provided by CJ's or left behind by a customer from earlier in the day.) read more

CJ's redeemed themselves on my most recent visit today. I changed over to my set of 4 snow tires ($52 charge for tires purchased at any CJ's.) Service was quick this time, I was in and out in 55 minutes. Balancing seems to be done well. Wifi is a pretty slow so I used LTE instead, but all in all I'm satisfied. read more

Have been a customer at this location for years and have always felt they treated me fair. Sent my wife to them with a nail in her tire. Simple fix, $18 at most right! $28 ? Really. Not a truck or heavy vehicle. Not sure where this pricing structure came from but can speculate that I would not have received the same pricing. read more
