I had an 80 foot spruce tree that was 20 feet away from my house. I didn't know that it was hit by lightning. When I found out it was too late and it was cracking and popping. It wasn't a question of whether it was going to fall and crush mine and my neighbors house it was a question of when! There was no way to get to the tree with heavy equipment because it was landlocked. I called 4 other companies in my area and they all turned it down because it was too dangerous to send climbers up so they all turned it down and said to call them after it crushes my house then they would take care of it. One of the biggest services in the area called Keystone. They were here within an hour and said they could handle it. The next day they showed up with an awesome rig that could cut the tree piece by piece, lift it over my roof, and put them right into the chipper. The crew was awesome! They were courteous, professional, and were very good at their jobs. When they left after 9 hours I couldn't find a twig left over in the street! It was not cheap or even competitive if you compared it to a tree next to a street, but when we were faced with no options they definitely came through with flying colors!! read more

We have an extremely large Willow tree that needed some TLC. It's located in a difficult to reach area of our yard. On top of that, previous companies did more harm than good to our beautiful tree. Most tree trimming companies don't want to deal with our situation. Chad took a look and told me that Keystone could do the job. They sent a crew of 5, with the right equipment to access our tree with no issues at all. Took out the dead branches, shored-up the trunks, and gave our Willow a new lease on life. I had Keystone Tree Techs remove a huge Silverwood Maple tree that was right up against a rental truck, close to house, & wires. They used the crane & all went perfectly.
