Jordan Miller and I scheduled a date and time to meet at my house to discuss what I was interested in doing with the trees in my yard. Jordan and I met at the time and date that was scheduled and we took a full hour to talk about each tree on the property. This took an entire hour because we discussed the concerns and options for each tree of concern. He provided me with information that helped me to make my decisions. When he left, I knew what was going to be done, how long it would take, the date he would start, and an estimate of what it would cost. Since my neighbors would be involved, I went to talk to both neighbors after he left. He and his employees came on the first date that we had agreed upon but I was unable to be there. He indicated that there was no problem with that. The next day he was to come, Jordan let me know there was an emergency he needed to address and asked if it would be ok if he didn't come the next two days. He assured me he would be there for the two following days after that. This was very helpful because I live in another state so did not have to needlessly drive 150 miles for nothing! I was in town for the second day of their work. When he arrived, we talked about what he had done on the first day and reviewed what he planned to do. During that morning, I had several questions that he and his workers responded to very respectfully. Although we had to leave before the end of the day, they finished up the following day and left the yard in good order. Although we asked him to do a few extra things that we had not discussed, he did them. When he emailed us our bill, it was what we had previously agreed to with no additions. I lost 4 trees ( Cherry, 2 Crab Apples, and a massive White Ornamental Plum tree ) on my lot and needed them completely removed due to the severe damage done to them. I first called them to look at a tree with some blight on it. Jordon is a certified arborist. He gave me several options and did not just want to "take my money" so to speak. We liked his approach and had him prune a magnolia tree we have near out deck. He did a thoughtful job and the tree looks great. I will certainly have him back to keep that tree in good shape. We have worked with them for both removal of branches threatening power lines and for larger scale tree clearance.
