I stopped by this location for a quick bite to eat. I haven't ate at KFC in a very long time and wanted to check out their famous bowl that I saw online. This location is close by and located right off the service road in Desoto. What really struck my interest was that the bowl was about five dollars and some change and it looked very tasty..I used to drive-through on this occasion for quick access as It looked like they were about to get ready to close . The wait was not long and there was no line.i missed some sauces but doubled back before departing . Service was still friendly and accommodating. The bowl itself was called the famous bowl and this included creamy mashed potatoes, corn chicken nuggets and cheese topped with some gravy and it was very filling and delicious. I highly recommend trying this and some of the other bowls they are promoting in the future. A great bang for your buck . read more

I went to this KFC around 7:00 PM this evening and there was no line no customers no wait which I thought was awesome until I got my order. First off the food was Luke warm and greasy. The chicken pieces were trouble the chicken wings looked like a party wing instead of a meal wing and the thighs wasn't much better, this was the original recipe and the extra crispy chicken breast was hard and dried out as if it had been dunked in the fryer a second time. I was so disappointed that I called the store and advised of the condition of my order and was told to bring it back to them by a gentleman who said he was the manager. I got back in my car went back to the store and then I was told they don't give refunds. I politely explained to the lady at the window that I did not want a replacement order that I would not be eating anything from that establishment, that they seem OK to serve the customers in that condition. I don't want a replacement order, I just want my refund once again, I was told let me call the manager because I don't know how to give you a refund then the lady comes back to the window and say can you come back in the morning when the manager will be here for you to "Talk" to. Excuse me I work, no I cannot come back here in the morning, she said well you don't have to come in the morning she said, you can come anytime of the day tomorrow and you might just have to go ahead and get another order of chicken because they don't do refunds. Their new manager seems to really have things under control I've met all of her young staff, they all seem to really like their job and do it efficiently. I placed an online order that was due to be picked up at 5:20...I got at almost 5:30..the order is not ready which is fine...they said it would be another 10 minutes...over 20 minutes later my order finally comes out...no apologies...no can I offer you an extra something to compensate for this extra time I spent waiting on what seemed to be a very simple order smh. The depiction on your ad for this item ( Mike honey hot tenders) shows a reddish orange hue sauce. I expected it to be represented in that same manner when ordered. I was disappointed in what I received! The tenders looked good to my eyes but it did not show to have any sauce on them. Once I turned them over I found very little honey sauce and there was not heat spice! I would not recommend that this is representative of all KFC who would just drizzle a bit of sauce as opposed to drowning it in the sauce so that a proper taste could be obtained. The product was obtained through the drive-thru so I guess there was a wait and there is a problem there. A two lane drive thru that forms into one lane is problematic . There should have stayed a one lane drive thru since there is not always enough persons to man the drive thru window. The last time I went inside this place was after COVID and it was not impressive. This was the absolute worst take out dining experience I've ever had in my life. My family & I waited in the drive through line about twenty minutes, I saw three cars back out of the line & leave, that should've been a clear indicator for us to leave too. Nonetheless we finally approached the order speaker, we ordered tenders & were told by the you g lady in the drive through that they were out. Then she said it would be a five minute wait, so my wife asked for clarification; are y'all out or you're not out & there's a five minute wait? It was just a five minute wait, so we order potato wedges, and the young lady says they're not serving anymore potato wedges because they're out of those too. Then my wife orders an ice tea; same thing as before, the you g lady says they're out of ice tea!! My wife asks do y'all have anything this evening? The you g lady simply says yes. We place our order & are directed to wait at the front of the store as our order isn't ready. In all we spent about 37 minutes at this KFC. Once we pull out the boxes of Nashville tenders, they're literally dripping grease in our laps!! The biscuits were hard as rocks, the tenders were just disgusting. The Desoto KFC is one of the worst restaurants in the area. The linens are slow and the service is awful. It has been YEARS since I've gone but tonight confirmed why I will never go back. I drive up to the drive through. Young man takes my order. After sitting in the drive through for 30 minutes (only 3 cars are in front of me and once you're in line you are stuck) I get to the window. The young lady slowly walks to the window all the time texting. She stops finishes her text pauses....come to the window...and says "uuuuuhhhh we out of chicken and tenders"... Secondly, they have their Wednesday Chicken Fried Steak special hidden from view on the side where you pick up your order.
