This place is filthy. You practically skate across the floor it's so greasy. The pop machine has mold and has not been cleaned. The bathroom sink has scum. Workers are standing around like they have nothing to do. Poor management. read more

This place was clean, staff was friendly. I was completely thankful they had inside dining. I ordered crispy chicken and my mother ordered original. KFC is one of our favorite places to go when we're out traveling. Today, this KFC must have lost count on their 11 herbs and spices because the chicken had no flavor. Even the gravy had no flavor. I have visited this location several times. Visiting with family, we walked in as they like the buffet options. We went in and there was close to nothing on the buffet line. There was a good chunk of time left for the buffet but we had to pick through the scraps of what was left. We were surprised they didn't put out more food at that time. We even took our time in case they did put out fresh options. Other times I have went, it has been the same minimal selections. The counters were dirty along with a few tables that were used long before we walked in. The employees were professional in both environments. The drive thru did not take too long and I received my order correctly. The temperature on my sandwich was a bit on the colder side than I would have liked it but it was good food and my correct order. The only issue I have with the drive thru is getting a sandwich that was barely lukewarm. The inside is a different story. If you are a fan of the KFC buffets, I'd pass on this location unless they put out everything on time and you're the first or second person in line. read more

The worst KFC I have ever had. My grandkids asked for KFC for dinner, they are in differe sports so there is lots of chasing, it ordered the food to be ready after the last pick up 5:30. You have to go in & pick it up, I have 3 kids with me, ordered it in the afternoon so plenty of time for them to make it still waited 10 min while kids are in the car. The chicken was so dry you could hardly eat it. Not sure how many days it has been cooked. I would not give them any stars if I could. read more

The food is just okay. I mean if you've eaten KFC before you have pretty much experienced everything there is to experience. The only problem I have with this location is the fact that they ALWAYS forget something. Sometimes it's forgetting no mayo on my chicken little and other times it's forgetting plastic silverware for my sides. This place is horrific. The buffet food looked like it had been there for days. I swear the staff must be stoned out of their minds with the level of confusion and chaos with their service. After I ordered they took nearly 15 minutes before they came out and said that they ran out of chicken patties for the sandwich I ordered but that they would make it out of chicken fingers. Pressed for time I agreed and they went back to make it which took another 10 mins and then they brought the wrong order. There were 5 people staffing the place but they all looked like they were just standing around shooting the breeze instead mopping the sticky floors and tables or cleaning up the god awful filthy bathrooms. Terrible!!! Detroit Lakes, MN. We ordered a $30 dollar meal, for 3 of us. I asked for extra butter, and extra salt, i recieved 3 butters, and 3 packets of salt!! For 3 adults. And on top of it all, the food was cold, and the order was wrong. For $30, very terrible meal done wrong. read more

Chicken WAS NOT finger licking good, it wasn't fresh, the breading all fell off ask soon and picked it up, it look like it sat in the over for 8 hours, we waited 20-30 minutes just waiting for a sandwich and chicken which wasn't even fresh so I don't even know why it took so long. Sandwiches were good just the chicken and fries were not good! They were both soggy! Stopped by passing through town. Not to busy considering it was a Friday night. We got the buffet - bad choice. They were out of a lot of things which surprised me considering they were not busy. Cant review the food because I never got any. Wanted 3 original recipe wings, 2 biscuits, cole slaw. As this was not one of their canned menu items (it used to be), they needed to call someone up from the back to take my order. Her only question: "Do you care what you pay?" (Yes.) Total cost for this meal would have been $10.50 plus tax. For 3 KFC wings/cole slaw and biscuits. How ridiculous is that? (It used to be less than $5.00) I guess the good (?) news is that at these prices they cannot last too much longer. (This is a standard complaint on line when you read the reviews - people cannot afford to buy KFC anymore. It is not worth the price.) Maybe they should advertise less and pass on the savings to their customers - while they still have some. read more
