Having said this I to am a frequent customer of Regal Charcoal Chicken and their service and food have always been of a high standard. I was in the store when the customer Dominic T complained about his pizza. Returned half eaten he requested something be done about it. When the manager said if there was a relevant issue ie missing ingredients, burnt then gladly he would do something about it. But to complain about 2 inches from the crust was a little puzzling to me. The complainant finished by saying to the manager "look at my review of your business tonight" this comment is utterly disgraceful particularly since I saw the half eaten pizza and nothing was wrong with it. Let me ask you something Dominic T, you mentioned that you have been a regular customer for 6 years - obviously they were doing something right to retain your business for so long. Why don't I see a review of a good experience you had? Because you're a keyboard warrior and failed to legitimise your complaint to the store owner. Legitimately dont rubbish a shop when you have malice intentions, it takes the value out of review sites such as this. Regal Charcoal Chicken had never ceased to disappoint and I would recommend to anyone wanting good take away food.

But you don't go to Kingsleys if you're watching your weight. The southern fried chicken fillets are succulent and juicy and the gravy here is hands down the best gravy I've tasted in my life. Ask any Canberran and they'll also tell you that their chips are the best you'll find in town, maybe even the country. This particular store has plenty of seating (mostly inside but they do have a couple of tables outside as well), restrooms in the back, free parking directly outside and friendly staff.

Their skinless burgers with the Portuguese BBQ sauce are filling and satisfying, but I would have to recommend the 1/2 chicken and chips for either a big lunch or for dinner. They have several sauces for all heat tolerances - I usually go with Hot - and it's worth getting the Peri-Peri chips over the regular ones (if you don't mind the spice).
