This is the only place I've known that you order food and you have to use a coin to use the bathroom. No making sense.

Its a kfc, that is mostly self explanatory. The location itself is modern and convenient. Expect it to be overcrowded.

This Meat & Greet is so outstanding, I ate there three times during my 9 day stay in Prague. WOW!…read more Everything about this restaurant is quality. Quality service, drinks and most importantly food. It's also a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant so you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. If everything I tried, I absolutely loved the red hot chilli burger. It's unique and the flavors are so harmonious... it makes me want to meet the person that designed this burger and shake their hand lol. If I could only eat one type of burger from here on out, it would be this one. I think it would be near impossible to have a bad experience at this restaurant. This place should get awards for their quality! Highly recommended.

Basic, basically fine. Garlic Mayo isn't very garlicky. Billy goat -- the burger to get if you're a bit adventurous. Goat cheese AND cheddar, with pancetta, pumpkin mayo AND garlic aioli AND corn salad. Messy AF but tasty. Bohemia -- yum. Pork neck and a Czech cheese. Cabbage and onions. Wish the mustard was slightly spicier but this is a good burger. Fries -- get the herbed version or the steak fries. Wish us could herb the steak fries. Prices are a little higher than other places but still reasonable compared to most tourist destinations in Europe.

It's since been upgraded and is quite nice. What a lovely McDonald's, with free wifi and bathrooms for 10 CZK (about US$0.40). It has a separate McCafé counter and the entire establishment boosts some nice modern design elements in keeping with current international trends. The interior is quite possibly the nicest McDo I've seen anywhere. There's even a counter with electrical outlets. The food is about standard for McDonald's, perhaps on the tastier side, but I might be biased because of the proud capitalist historical tradition of this particular one. As an American, I'm ambivalent about American global fast food chains but at least they seem to acquit themselves quite nicely. Bathrooms: Really nice. Modern aesthetic design with dark woods and those space-age oval thingies for urinals and touch-less faucets. Even eco-friendly, with one of those stick-hands-in blow dryer things.

The baklava was thickly spiced with slight bitter notes, thick honey. It wasn't a dainty baklava. These are housemade, so they are slightly inconsistent day by day. The pohaca had great layered texture, some black sesame sprinkled on top, with a buttery burnt bottom and surprising feta inside. They specialize in Azerbaijani cuisine and offer several entrees and durum. One night I also enjoyed baklava, sekerpare, and bülbül yuvası. On my last visit, I made sure I was hungry enough to eat their durum. That was also quite good. I really wish I could return there right now.

I learned later that there are a few Burrito Loco locations but this one is in the middle of a good bar district, which means late-night eats are a must. The shop itself is very tiny... only maybe half a dozen people can stand there comfortably. So the line often goes out the door. It's not fancy or complicated. There are a handful of pretty basic options to choose from and a couple of drink options. They get bonus points for serving bottled Jaritos. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT. And I do think that is probably their busiest time of the day. So in that respect, this pace was totally perfect, don't change a thing. If you want an actually good burrito, though, maybe not...

Conveniently located next to Tesco, a shopping mall, and one of the main tram stops (Národní třída, which tram 22 runs through). Wokin is a "build your own" food sort of place (Chipotle is an American equivalent for ordering style). You can choose from noodles, meat, veggies, etc. to name a few! This "build your own" concept means they cook your meal fresh every time you order. The service is always great as well (which can be hard to come by in a country that doesn't prioritize customer service like the US)! The dough was light and perfectly cooked, and the fillings were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Honestly, these were better than any dumplings I had anywhere else in Europe. It's not really a traditional sit-down restaurant--there's just a small bar-style seating area--but don't let that stop you. This place is all about the food, and it delivers.
