The food was very good; the fries were salty and the sauce was saltier. We added coleslaw to our feast for 2; no idea why there wasn't any included in our "feast". The chicken was juicy and tender (could've been hotter), and even the wings were good. I loved the coating, but the backs, which looked like the bigger pieces, didn't actually have a lot of meat on them. Mary Brown's doesn't offer a lot of variety in the diet pop department, which is ok, considering they offer fried chicken. Every component of the bowl was spot on. Everything harmonized so well together. It was Mexican rice, black beans, diced tomatoes, grilled peppers and onions. I opted for the pulled pork and it was finished off with chipotle mayo and sour cream. It was sooo delicious! These were the best grilled onions and peppers. They were delicately diced and the peppers and purple onions were perfectly caramelized. You could not have asked for a more perfect Mexi Bowl. Being from Texas, I was impressed with the fresh ingredients and how it totally gave me Mexican-vibes. Great job! Throughout lunch service all the outdoor table filled up on a Monday, so that totally tell you how busy this place can get- but not surprising. The food here was great and to forgot to mention how delicious my citrus beverage was (I think it was lemonade, pineapple and soda water). Overall, Redneck Bistro was a true delight. I had been wanting to try Kingburger for years, but every time we were in the area, we were always just passing by and had to get to where we were going on a specific schedule. The King Burger has two beef patties, triple bun, Kingburger sauce, and fried onions. The cheeseburger just adds cheese. The patties were real, homemade beef patties. They weren't too thick or dense and were juicy. The cheese was real cheese slices and not Kraft singles. The fried onions were good, not too many and not overwhelming. The Kingburger sauce seemed mostly like a mix of ketchup and mustard and there was far too much for me - I would've liked to taste the beef more because it was really great! I was also hoping to give more burger to our little kiddo without the sauce or just minimal. The buns were nothing special, but were fresh, soft, and helped soak up the sauce. In fairness, I like light sauce, whereas my husband likes everything super saucy and he really enjoyed it. All in all, it's definitely a good burger and I might try the Super Burger next time, which also comes with back bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and subs fried onions for raw. The poutine, unfortunately, did not the have cheese curds I was craving, but the gravy was very tasty and the fries were so perfectly crispy. As a big cheese lover, dare I say that I might just order fries and gravy next time. The portion was pretty big, too. Super affordable, weekday specials, and fast and friendly service. Love a small, local, family-owned restaurant that's been around for ages. Well ok to be fair, it tastes like the sausage patties you can buy from Wal-Mart to make your own sausage eggers but got busy doing something else and let them get over cooked (dry as a bone) and burnt, then maybe just maybe you could say it taste like sausage! I have ate these things for decades from the companies that have promoted them for years and have made my own. Love A&W but this product is a flop... P.S come on guys get better coffee...
