This is the absolute worst location in the area. Placed an online order on the app; arrive to pick up the order. Only to be told by the manager that the restaurant had closed one hour early. Do not recommend this location at any time of day, this is not the first inconvenience of his kind. This location needs to revamp management and employees. I walked in to order and there was no one in the place. I could hear people laughing and goofing around in the back but no one came to the counter for 10 minutes, though I repeatedly shouted hello? hello? to see if I could get someone to come to the counter. When they finally came up to the front I asked about the app. I had been trying to place an order on the app and pick up in the drive thru but couldn't get the order to go through. The girl said, " we don't know anything about the app". Employees should be taught about the inns and outs of the app associated with the business they are working for. I told her I had had problems with the Lincoln Park location, and the owner, when she stated that the same guy owns this store (Southgate). Ahhh, now I'm seeing a pattern. Southgate KFC on Eureka used to be the best. It seems to get a little bit worse now every time we get it. Tonight, potato wedges that I'm sure had been sitting for hours. This may be for my first 1 star review. I've been here 3 times over the past 2 years and always issues. 1st time ordered a side of Mac and Mash Potato's no gravy and a biscuit. Got home no biscuit and gravy on mash potato's. Can't eat cause a vegetarian. 2nd time same order. Cold Mac, again gravy on mash potato's. Hard biscuit. Never called or went back, chalked it up as a loss. Today after waiting in line for 15 minutes and studying the menu I ordered a fill up bowl that is supposed to come with mash potato's, gravy, corn, cheese and chicken poppers. I asked the girl if it would be a problem to minus the gravy and chicken poppers. Sure thing! Open it up to eat because I'm starving, noticed 4 pieces of cheese. Took at bite into cold and tasted cold mash potato's and hard corn. I ordered here yesterday and while I was waiting for my order I observed the cashies had on gloves and was taking cash then going back to getting orders ready then I observed a girl that was preparing the foid in the back was eating with gloves on ( a health issues for the customer) then continued to complete orders the the girl putting the online orders together was swearing about how many online order she's had to do. I would leave a big zero if I could. We tried to get a family bucket of chicken yesterday and they were out of chicken. The employee said it would be 45 minutes before we got our food. So, instead we got 2 chicken pot pies. I ate a half of mine and my Mom ate her full one. We both had stomach aches and diarrhea the next day. I can tell based on my symptoms that it was due to food poison. We called restaurant today, had our receipt, and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was very rude. I placed an order in the drive-thru and drove home, which took approximately 10 minutes. Upon arriving home, I discovered that some items I had ordered were missing from my order. Understandably frustrated, I immediately returned to the store (called 4 times on my way to the store, no answers), another 10-minute drive, with all of the food in hand. Upon explaining the issue to the acting manager on duty, I was met with a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. Not only did he refuse to provide his name, but he also declined to give me the store's number. When I mentioned contacting the franchise, he dismissively laughed and stated that the establishment was not a franchise but personally owned. To compound my frustration, the manager and the cashier, a young blonde woman, displayed a dismissive and rude attitude from the beginning of our interaction. They both adamantly refused to divulge the owner's name and contact number and suggested that I return on another day if I had a problem. They provided no information regarding when the owner might be available. After a long day at work, all I wanted was a warm meal. However, due to the errors made by your staff, I was forced to consume cold and old food. Furthermore, I requested a refund for my order, only to be met with resistance. Their argument that the food was still "fresh" after a 30-minute wait was, in my view, completely unacceptable. Freshness should not be compromised by such a short duration of time. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service skills displayed by your employees and acting manager. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I can confidently say that I will never return to your store. Such an experience is not only unacceptable but also reflects poorly on the training and standards upheld by your establishment. As a loyal customer who has supported your brand in the past, I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement in both the quality of your service and the training of your staff. I went thru the drive thur and ordered 8 pieces with Mac &Cheese and Cole slaw, a 5 piece nugget and drink. Total 37. I get home I find no nuggets and Mash pots/gravy no coleslaw. So I go back up there and I have to holler more then once to get someone's attention. When someone answers me I explain what happen. I can't see her face but she grabs containers slams them down and proceeds to fill them. I try to explain that I did not order pot/gravy and she tells me I did. Just left the carnival. My kids sick, we pull over quick cause she's gotta Ralph. She got some in a plastic bag and on her way to the grass she dropped the bag. The kid who is "shift lead" comes out and asks if we are gonna take the bag with us. I said no. Who would do that? He could've asked me to throw it away...I would've done that but he starts dropping f bombs in front of my kid. So I go in, he starts dropping f bombs in front of the customers inside the restaurant too. They are appalled-he calls the GM and she says to just have me leave. One worker there was super nice and so I asked him for some gloves to throw the bag away. He was very nice and accommodating. Went to kfc today, ordered $35.00 of food they said it would be a 4 min wait and to pull over to a parking spot. Then we waited so long, I called and asked for the manager she said "speaking" and I proceed to ask why I've been waiting for over 20 min and she hangs up on me!!! So the lady brings out my food, and I tell her that I would rather just have my money back due to her manager hanging up on me...so I then ask her to send out her manager with my money. She comes out and tries to hand me my money, I ask "are you the manager"? "yes" she said I then asked "why did you hang up on a customer? (Me) She said you were yelling at me, and here's your money so I get out of my car to take a picture of her, and she puts the money on the ground and says "don't put your hands on me", I said "are you kidding me, I just want your name so when I call your corporate office I know who to tell them was rude to me" and she turns around and walks super fast (running) to the building so I try and snap a picture of her and she slams the door shut so I call back and she just breaths into the phone and won't talk.... My senior citizen father was hungry and wanted Kentucky Fried Chicken. I debated going to this location from past experience but he wasn't up for a longer drive to another location. We walked in and they chose to take their employees' orders first then after about five minutes of the staff talking to those who had just gotten off work and staring at my father, they finally took his order. Then 20 minutes later told him there was a 6 minute wait on chicken. So we waited and 15 minutes later still no food. Finally after 40 minutes total my dad got his food and his order was incorrect. I am not happy with the customer service. For a "fast food" chain it was not fast at all. I will be driving him to a different location from here on out. I would never stop here even if it was the last option on my way home from work. I would give this no stars if that were an option. read more

Today I went to the drive thru, I waited a couple minutes before placing my order after I placed my order it took nearly 10 minutes to receive my food, with only 2 cars ahead of me. I drove away and realized they forgot the biscuit. I circled the block and came back the girl said no problem to drive forward. I waited over 10 minutes with two cars in front of me and we hadn't moved and finally I decided to call the resturant. The girl answered the phone and I explained that I've been waiting almost 15 minutes at this point. She screamed at me "we're very busy" when I said there's only two cars and we haven't moved she then screamed at me again "I said we're busy" and hung up on me. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I have no desire to go back to a place of business like this. I rarely go there anymore because the last few times the food has been skimpy and cold. Nope. To Whoever hired the kids that work here, please don't hire staff at other restaurants around town. If some of them worked as much as they goof around this location, you would probably have a larger portion of your menu ready to serve. (probably net a bit more money too..) Usually Always out of pot pies, Fried Chicken is soggy or greasy 50% of the time I come here, they do however have Mac and cheese sometimes.
