i've been looking to try an odd burger for a few years now, but i never had an excuse to come to…read morecanada until i came for a show at caesars. we came in on a sleety tuesday evening-ish at around 5pm. in the 30 minutes or so we were there we saw a handful of people come in, but the location of this place is definitely a little unusual, in a strip mall sort of thing that'd be easy to drive right past. on to the food! the famous burger: i felt like this was a necessary get simply because it seems to be their staple menu item. i opted for the beefy smash patties rather than the chickpea patties due to suggestions online, and i'm glad i did. this thing hit hard, and tastes like everything a big mac does -- minus the grey meat and chewy pieces of cartilage. the edges around the patty got nice and crispy, and the sauce (ever so slightly mustardy, unlike a big mac) accented it flawlessly. the burger's also a great size. i have exactly nothing to say negatively about this thing. 5/5 chickun cordon bleu: i considered getting a standard chickun sandwich, but this sounded much more unique compared to what other vegan places offer. the kicker is the "ham" -- by far the best ham alternative i've ever had. the chickun doesn't look like it'd taste very good (see: picture of the inside), but it absolutely does. the thickness of it is just right with the crunchy exterior, and it's stupidly filling. my only wish here is that there was more melty cheese on it. but, in terms of overall flavor, it's still excellent. 4.5/5 poutine: like the famous burger, i almost got something different (that chickun bac'n ranch poutine was calling my name), but i wanted to see how this place could do an ordinary poutine -- and the answer is, phenomenally well. their battered fries hold up to that rich "beef" gravy flawlessly. i'd like for them to develop a nice cheese curd for these, but the mozzarella they use does a great job. i do wish they'd top this with a bit of green onion and bacon, but even as is, this is a rib-sticking, filling portion of poutine. 5/5 wingalings: i was torn between these and the tenders, but these things friggin deliver with the korean sesame sauce. they stayed crispy even as they swam in sauce, and they packed an excellent flavor. even though i do feel like you can tell these aren't made with chicken, i 100% don't miss it. who isn't eating nuggets for the breading and sauce anyway? the sauce wasn't spicy like i'd have liked, but even still, these will definitely be a repeat order from me. 4.5/5 onion rings: vegan onions rings are one of the more difficult things to find on a restaurant menu, so these were one of the things i was most looking forward to, and... of course, odd burger delivers again. nicely sized rings with just a modest seasoning of pepper so the onion does the work. crucially, the onion stays in the breading through each bite. damn, it's almost like OB knows what they're doing. 5/5 chocolate milkshake: i didn't order it, but my girlfriend's parents each ordered a shake and we tried it -- again, no miss from odd burger. at first thought (and i know this may turn people off) was that it tasted like an ovaline'd milkshake, and i loved it. after a few sips, i settled on cocoa pebbles dust. delicious. the consistency was also at the perfect ready-to-drink texture. all day, a 5/5. there was just nothing to dislike about my experience here. there was only one person working -- and he said he was new -- but he knew the menu well, was friendly, and got the food out fast. i also greatly appreciate odd burger's use of environmentally friendly packaging throughout (save the plastic drink tops), and vegan messaging throughout their branding. i was initially almost hoping i would be underwhelmed or even just.. "whelmed" by what odd burger had to offer, but they fully exceeded my already high expectations. it looks like i'll be having to plan another trip to windsor solely for another odd burger visit -- that is, if they don't expand to michigan before then. incidentally... it also looks like i'm an investor now, so thanks and you're welcome, guys! odd burger executes vegan fast food as well as anybody could want, and they will surely open the eyes of any skeptic that actually gives them a fair shot. kudos!

Not warm Cold! Now this is the 3rd time I have experienced cold food. This time I went in, complained it was cold again! I have been supporting this business for over 20years. I am shocked at the lack of customer service and really doesn't seem like they care about word of mouth reputation. I do understand how overwhelming it can get, if your using excuses as to why your putting out unacceptable food, and having your customers wait this long you need to change things and try and do better, instead of going off on your customer. Its a customers right to complain if their not getting what they paid for. I will not be supporting this establishment going forward, their lack of respect for their customers is shocking, competition in Tecumseh is something they should consider. My take on this experience is the owner really isn't looking at the experience of the customer, she is looking at the total amount of sales at the end of the night.

The literally did not come to me rather than the store manager sending the out together she expedited the orders separately I waited 40 minutes for the delivery driver after hearing nothing. I contacted him asking where the was. He then advised me he couldn't find the address. This went on for 30 minutes at which time I was getting a constant message from Uber that my order was going to be sent back to the store. I was trying to explain to the Uber driver that there were notes on file specifically explaining how to get where he needed to be as I was asking him where he was he failed to answer the question and kept repeating he could not condominium repeatedly as this circus was going on the second order launched out. I have been catastrophically injured in a car accident and cannot get into a motor vehicle and simply get these orders. Otherwise I would not be sitting here missing $400 worth of food. I asked him to wait as I was going to take a picture of what the outside of the building, look like he was unable to follow simple instruction, which was written down in advance nor which is exactly why I asked for the order to be transferred, and I was refused just as I sent a picture through from Google. I received a message, and this order was suddenly delivered perplexed because he was nowhere near the building then I received a second text stating order 2 was delivered yet I hadn't been contacted nor had the buzzer code been used and I had a spinal injury delivered to my door means my condominium door. I'm paying for Services. It doesn't mean I'm coming to you!!!!! I stopped using Uber and I only use Instacart. They support the clients much better. Uber is absolutely disgusting. They don't support the clients and it was Mary Brown's on not where I ever order from my only use Mary Brown's located in but they refused to transfer the order again for customer service so what I received was zero the orders ended up being put in the dirt outside number one put three large bags in order over $250 in the dirt and number two as I was trying to give number one further instruction texted me asking me if he should leave it in the door which I did not receive until much later. The lack of common sense is astonishing. That order was three large bags and $150 and he left that in the driveway in the and thank goodness for my who is fabulous. She had to go out there and retrieve all six of these large and by then the bottom completely fell out. I had no intention of taking them. I knew they were out there and upon trying to contact Mary Brown's they did not suggest replacing my They did not send any orders back. They did not call they said they would. They have left me without but they have my which is no matter what way you look at it and I'm a retired executive 30 years when a consumer does not receive the goods she has paid for a year either replacing those goods or giving that consumer a refund Mary Brown's was given 2 1/2 hours thereafter to return the phone call I have been trying to contact them for four hours and they will not pick up the phone and Uber is absolutely useless so I am out almost $400 with no food... I was just shocked it said to cross reference and assist your Uber driver by signing into your Uber account to help them locate where you are, which is what I did you look at it. The message was very clear. specifically stated I had a spinal injury from two motor vehicle accidents. I was unable to walk. I could not meet them down in the lobby. I would appreciate if they came up to my condominium and someone would gather parcels from them. They literally threw my food onto the road or in the mud as would have it, I've never had that happen to me before I have had parcels and food products left on the outside of the secured building, which ended up in the garbage if anything is not placed within your hands and it is a consumable item. It's not safe, but I have never ever in my life. Had somebody leave something to that degree on the street, there was absolutely no rationale behind that, shame on Mary Brown's on Wyandot for not sending out a re-order and or refunding me my money thaIs theft... Thank goodness thank goodness for my was a witness to everything and she had to clean it all up outside. I can't even walk. Both drivers as well as the on duty should be dismissed from their positions. The only thing that should've mattered this evening was rectifying that entire debacle. She found to return my call. She failed to refund me my money nor did she replace, any of the hundreds and hundreds of dollars spent and tip
