We dropped in on a Sunday evening (around 7:45pm) and the place was busy. People waiting for takeout burgers but also people eating in and on the patio. Service is friendly. You order at the counter, get a number and then your food is brought to your table. The menu is up behind the counter but they also have menus if you dine in. It's all burgers; beef, lamb, chicken, chicken schnitzel and veggie. There's also three salad options, kids menu, sides and drinks. - Beer battered onion rings ($6.00 AUD) - sadly, they were out of sweet potato chips so we got a bowl of onion rings instead. Luckily, these were cooked just the way we like 'em; deep fried and greasy. Share 'em. - Golden crumb schnitzel (#16) ($15.00 AUD) - chicken schnitzel, cheddar, caramelized onion, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, BBQ sauce and soul mayo. A tad heavy on the mayo but everything else was great. Chicken was tender with good seasoning and well breaded. A more standard burger (ingredient wise) but well executed. - Mind body & soul (#18) ($15.50) - premium quality veggie burger with sweet chili sauce, beetroot, semi-dried tomatoes, grated carrot, avocado, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and satay sauce. Beets and avocado were tasty. This very well might be one of the best veggie burgers we've had! Great flavours. An excellent burger spot! Huge and flavourful burgers. Not sure what else you can ask for.

Decor is pretty average but I never intend to eat in the store anyway…read more The menu selection is surprisingly good because I feel if they had added anything else it would be overcomplicated fast food which really isn't necessary. The prices of things vary from being okay to just downright expensive. An example being (as I'm writing this) their burger meal deal (the food I always get) gets you a very nicely sized chicken burger with lettuce cheese and mayo on a bun. The chicken is a basic fillet (not a thick piece a nicely sliced piece which I personally prefer) which has been floured and they deep fry it. Along with the burger which is served in a medium (you can see this on the wall for size comparison) styrofoam container they fill the spare space with their chips and you get a 375ml can of coke for $9.50 That's a pretty good deal, but, this is pretty much where their good deals end and some questions are raised. They serve chips in 3 different sized portions of small, medium and large. From what I remember the prices went like this: small = 3/4$, medium = $5/6 and large =$7.50/8.50. Again sorry for having to try to remember but the prices are really close to what I've put above. Anyway my point is the size of the containers you receive vs the amount you pay is pretty ridiculous. The roadster roadhouses minimum (which is like 2 bucks) would overflow their small and the only difference here is Charcoal Chicken uses some sort of chicken salt/seasoning on their chips. All things considering the small range of food (weird that I haven't had their charcoal chicken but, whatever.) I've had has always been good. But if me and a mate feel like some hot chips I probably won't drive to charcoal as I'd end up broke.
