They called me and told me that it had low compression on cylinder 1 and was going to need a new engine as well as many other repairs it needed. After quoting me a very high price, I declined and proceeded to pick up my truck later that day. When I went to pick up my truck, they again stated it would need a new engine, but when I asked what caused the low compression they stated that they did not know why. After taking matters into my own hands, I found amazing and consistent compression on all 8 cylinders of my engine and a faulty EGR valve that was causing all my problems. After replacing the EGR valve the truck ran flawlessly and hasn't had that problem since. I am so glad I didn't fall for a new engine! I get my routine oil changes there, and a mount and balance for my snow tires in the winter time. I get my fluids topped off every time I get an oil change. A couple months ago I decided to take my car into Spokane Quick Lube down the road, I didn't have enough time this time to go to Mechanic's Pride because we were leaving on a camping trip. What a mistake, my car was leaking oil, and lots of oil. I called Tony the next day and he was able to get me in and check it out. There was something wrong with the bolt, like it was stripped or something. Well Tony was able to fix it and no more oil is leaking. Everyone there is so awesome, they made sure to check out everything else in my car to make sure everything is running properly. They are quick and efficient, trust worthy and local!
