Our salesman Jim was super helpful and gave us time and space to look at some settings. During this time my boyfriend was able to remind me that none of what I was looking at matched what I had told him previously. I honestly didn't expect to find a setting that I absolutely loved right there on the boardwalk, but nothing that I had seen so far even compared. We took time to talk it over during dinner and never felt the least bit pressured to return. However, we did return and this time sat down with Harry himself. He was so helpful and fun to speak with. He taught us so much about diamonds and how he creates his pieces. It really was an overall memorable experience. We left with the most gorgeous engagement ring less than 24 hours later. My boyfriend even said given his many experiences in the past few weeks with jewelers, this was by far his best. However, it's also used to raise prices. Harry disappointed me! It all started a couple of months ago, when I complained about being overcharged for setting one stone in a ring for my one daughter. I was in the jewelry business for many years and know the pricing. My example is simple, when I asked about a price for a rhodium job. The original price was $65.00 from the manager.Then I was told it would be $90.00. When I received a call the job was finished and went to pick it up, it was $95.00. Harry told me 2 days before that it would be $60 something because I was a regular customer. When I questioned it and told them about what Harry said, I find out that was only if I spent over $700.00 on my next repair. They will never see me again. I will save all my jewelry work for when I go back home to Pennsylvania! My recommendation to all who moved to this area, is shop around and get the price in writing!

The store itself is a nice size but the gal behind the counter was what made it for us. She was SO sweet and helpful. We talked for about half an hour and then she helped us out with picking our pieces. She wrapped them all up for us and even gave us water bottles since it was such a hot day. The thought and care behind her consultation with us did not go unnoticed. With customer service like this, this store will get super far. Can't wait to come back next year!

My wife found a cute necklace for $8 for a friend who enjoys unique (or cheap) jewelry. They also had some nice looking sterling silver sets for $20-$30. The shop itself is rather small and the shopkeeper is a nice Spanish speaking fellow, though he could stand to find someone to thread his eyebrows. One lady came in with a broken ring she bought last year. She said she had a receipt, but when asked for it, she said that it was so old that the ink was gone and she produced a small piece of white paper. Still, the shopkeeper was obviously around for a while b/c he recognized the piece and exchanged it for a similar piece without any hassle. Not a bad find if you're looking for decent priced jewelry and accessories.
