If he said he couldn't help me I was about throw in the towel and just try to live with the excruciating painful condition that plagued me for years. Medication didn't help, injections of nerve blocks didn't help and high doses of radiation to my head didn't help so at this point surgery was the only way to get my life back. I was a bit apprehensive about going to see him, I wanted to stay in New Jersey and have the surgery done out of the hospital my own doctor is affiliated with. Dr Bederson's office out of Mount Sinai medical center was a little bit of a trek for us(from New Jersey, not too far but even so it was well worth it, I would have traveled to California if he practiced out of a hospital there). We got to his office and immediately I knew I was where I needed to be(a neurologist referred me to him). He took time and answered all the questions I asked(which were plenty). He isn't like some doctors that only allot a certain amount of time with a patient so they can squeeze as many patients in as possible(more patients more money). I met with him in the beginning of the week, he pulled up my MRI and said "I can help you." I nearly cried in his office! It was amazing he scheduled the surgery for three days later. I know some surgeons make you wait months until the actual surgery date and the longer you wait the longer you are in pain. The day of the surgery came and Dr Bederson and his staff were exceptionally nice and soothing. I was nervous(not only was I having major surgery, but brain surgery to boot)! Dr Bederson explained everything that they would be doing and assured me that if I had any postoperative pain that they would take care of it immediately. After I woke up from the surgery I was sore as expected, but it was taken care of as promised, when the pain started getting out of control again, the nurses paged him and he was right on it, he makes sure all of his patients are comfortable(or as comfortable as can be when it comes to neurosurgery). I spent a good amount of time in recovery(there were no beds available until about midnight...keep in mind my surgery ended at noon, but that isn't the hospitals fault). A few times Dr Bederson came up to see me(since I was in recovery so long)and during his first visit he told me the surgery was a compete success. I was so happy, I could take the postoperative pain in the short term, rather than live with the pain I was having for the long term. He stopped by everyday I was in the hospital and three nights later I went home! It was amazing. I have a scar on the side of my head(a small part of my hair had to be shaved but my hair covers it completely). By looking at me you could never tell that a surgeon just operated on my brainstem. The world would be a better place if all doctors not only had the skill Dr Bederson had, but the bedside manner. This is a lot coming from me, because in general I don't like/trust doctors. So if you ever need neurosurgery(and I hope you don't) Dr Bederson is the BEST(he ranks in the top 5 in New York Magazines best doctors under neurosurgery. I highly recommend him.

The procedure was over quickly after they took the time to let the nitrous oxide and novacaine dull my senses. I heard the also offer general anesthesia. I might have considered that if I was having more done. They gave me plenty of time to recover and did not rush me out. They sent me home with an ice pack, some extra gauze and instructions on how to care for the site. Staff was friendly and explained the bill to me before and after (and nothing changed). The doctor even called me at home that evening to see how I was healing. Gentle but strong - good qualities for an oral surgeon. If you need oral surgery, call these guys.

I'm 4 months pregnant and had done extensive dental work in preparation for this pregnancy - an extra cleaning; a scaling; two teeth pulled for a cracked tooth and a failing root canal that couldn't support dental surgery; implant posts drilled; and a root canal (decided to wait to crown the implants post baby) - most done with gas and plenty of novocaine due to a dental phobia that started after a dentist damaged my trigeminal nerve during a botched novocaine injection. So I was extremely disappointed and stressed about a possible infection that would require painful remediation/antibiotics/pulling/who knows what/etc. and that may also be potentially affecting the baby negatively (I've spent my share of time on Pub Med meditating over all the research on how insidious and damaging dental infections are to a developing fetus). But after all that prep, last week, the root canal molar that was done just 5 months ago started to hurt and Dr. Park was able to diagnose the problem (the crown wasn't fit properly which lead to bacteria being able to get into the gumline and cause a gum infection - see X-ray I attached if you are into teeth!), propose a solution (go to a referred dentist - Dr.Jeff Suh, who also has stellar reviews, also in Scarsdale) for a new temporary crown which will then be replaced by Dr. Park during a full root canal restoration following the baby's birth so as to avoid the extra x-rays and stress of doing the full restoration now while still pregnant (plus, I would need gas due to my dental anxiety for the long full restoration procedure and I certainly can't do that whilst pregnant). I just found Dr. Park to be the most thorough, comprehensive dentists I've ever been to - he took time to go over every nuance of the issue, walking me through the anatomy, the issues with the crown, all my options, etc. - all while on an already fully booked busy schedule. I was so grateful. His demeanor has earned my trust and respect and I'm so pleased that I've found a new endodontist! The office is new and each exam room has the latest equipment and is bright, clean, and sunny. The receptionists are super upbeat and friendly, and the dental assistants are also cheerful and very efficient, as well. Don't hesitate to book a visit!!

Bodytite Both Arms Bad Results - Dr. Won't Correct Done…read more3/9/19 developed wrinkling of left arm. Right arm has a 3 inch scar and redundant overhanging skin/fat. Appears that Dr. Miller did not treat equal areas on both sides. Following up in October 2019, he offered 3 microneedling treatments and to revise the right arm BodyTite without charge. Microneedling didn't seem to help. I wanted to proceed with the second BodyTite but he changed his mind, refusing to do BodyTite again and offered discounted Morpheus. His emails try to justify that I signed a waiver (doesn't everybody?), results vary and he states BodyTite is a one time procedure (true, if it's done correctly). Do not get this procedure at this office. Dr. is not willing to take responsibility for bad results and is looking to profit from bad results.
