The common room is very comfortable and spacious, and the 2 resident dogs, who are gentle and friendly further help to create a homely feel. The whole place is very clean. The beds are super comfy. The kitchen is awesome, has everything you need. Gerald was also able to organise cheaper prices for local activities and restaurants, saved us heaps of $. I highly recommend this hostel.

It is great for people who want to stay in Golden for an affordable price and who want to be able to cook their own food. We stayed in the apartment suite which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) but there is also a hostel section for individuals or groups. Krista and Eric (the owners) are that perfect combination of laid-back but attentive. I LOVED our stay there and would recommend the place to anyone.

We stayed here for 2 nights…read more We got one of their renovated rooms which was nice. The washroom was quite large and was clean, fairly basic but fit our needs. The staff were pretty nice despite the chaos that a downed wifi caused them. They were pretty helpful with all our inquiries. The kitchen space is nice and clean. There's lockers for storing skis and other items. Was decently quiet despite being pretty full. Only issue was the wifi was down though it got fixed mid way through our stay. We did originally book a 5 person room and they only gave us 4 but they tried their best to fix it.

We've rented the entire space a few times for our outdoor group and it's a steal in price and you get all of the amenities to your group.
