Highly recommend!!! We've been part of the Goddard Bel Air…read morefamily for nine years, sending all three of our children there, from babies through kindergarten. From day one, the staff felt like extended family. They treated our children with genuine care, respect, and love, creating a nurturing environment where our kids thrived. Brenda and Eric, the owners, have always gone above and beyond to accommodate our family's needs. They were approachable, kind, and genuinely invested in each child's development. They've also built a strong community through thoughtful events like Dogs for Dads on Father's Day, Mother's Day celebrations, fun date nights, trunk-or-treat and graduations. Academically and socially, our children left Goddard more than ready for kindergarten and well ahead of their peers. The foundation they received there has had a lasting impact on their confidence and love of learning. We will always be grateful for the safe, enriching, and loving environment Goddard provided for our children. It truly became a second home, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

An answer that kept popping up: a teacher. That told my husband and I that the kids themselves truly admire and like the staff here. We've seen the advances in reading, math, shapes, colors, etc. over time but the joy she has in going to school wasn't to learn.. it was being with the teachers and class... which makes learning fun. Hats off to Mr. Eric, Ms. Brenda, Ms. Jess, and Ms. Laurel. They do a fantastic job in maintaining a secure facility, strong communication, fun learning, and a great attitude.

Let me count the ways NCCS is the perfect school for our family:…read more1. ACCS accredited! The documentary "Geronimo, Amen!" (about the founding of ACCS) inspired us to seek a classical, Christian education for our four children. We were ecstatic to find an ACCS school so close to us! If you haven't watched it, do! Watch for free here - https://classicalchristian.org/geronimo-amen/ 2. Amazing teachers! From the moment we started our oldest in Mrs. Kord's amazing Kindergarten to the special care and extra effort the teachers take in helping our children succeed, we couldn't be happier. The teachers are excellent in their craft, joyful in the duty, and encouraging as fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Our children are challenged and brought higher by the brilliant lights there. 3. All of the events! If you want to be amazed at the accomplishments of ALL our students, look no further than the Christmas Concert or the Recitatio in the spring. In addition to the school wide events, each class has multiple creative and immersive events that bring the learning to life. 4. Security! In this day and age, security is a top priority. Our school has upgraded systems. I would say more, but it's mostly just something you have to see for yourself. So schedule a tour today! https://www.nccsmd.org/schedule-tour 5. Lastly and most importanly...how Christ honoring the education is! Chapel is so encouraging for every age. The scripture the whole school memorizes is amazing to watch them all recite. Their memory work always include scripture. The teachers and staff will stop and pray with you or your child, will offer words of encouragement, and have blessed us with their faithfulness. The culture at the school is pointed toward and aligned with what matters most, the kingdom of God.

My children experienced challenging curriculum, as well as a nurturing school environment. They use a classical approach to learning which has helped my children not only gain an understanding of the content taught, but to also have confidence and a conviction to share their faith and articulate their thoughts with peers and adults. There is a strong focus on student safety, and the school has recently upgraded its security system. The teachers are very knowledgeable in their subject matter and take time to build in special events to support the students' understanding of content and aid them in cultivating a love of learning. As a parent who has worked in the educational field for over twenty years, I would encourage you to consider visiting their campus and seeing how they are different from other schools in the area. If you are looking for a school that is focused on strong academics, while fostering a Christian world view and nurturing environment, New Covenant Christian School is an excellent place to consider.

We felt welcomed from the moment we began our in-class tour. I was able to see the 3-4 year old class in action and once they explained the co-op experience in detail, I knew it was the right fit for our family. Being a co-op, the school requires parent involvement in the classroom and to serve on a committee. I found the involvement to be one of the best experiences of my life. It's been such a joy to watch my child and his school friends learn and grow. I thought at first it'd be challanging to work and volunteer with the school, but I found a way to make it work and it was worth every sacrifice. My son absolutley loved his first year of pre-k with Mrs. O'Donnell, and we look forward to next year with Mrs. Emerson. The teachers are wonderful, positive, enthusiastic, and love every child like thier own. I have felt very comfortable having my son in this learning environment from the start.
