That is not the case-the front door does make a sound when you enter but the second door, leading into the daycare area is not locked, no sound, and there is not always someone there assess who has walked in. When I asked if this would be addressed after the preschool shooting a few years ago, I was told by the owner that "no, changes will be made, and we'll miss having your kid here." With that said. Their safety measures (CCTV monitoring and secured doors) really gave me peace of mind. The area is clean (very important). The toys and play area are well kept, and my daughter really does not want to leave when I come to pick her up! For a facility that provides short-term care, this one is one of the better facilities in the local area!

When I walked in and said I wanted to join the class today with my son she said oh I guess I should cancel it we don't have our stuff. Ok? So since I drove over here I figured my son could spend and hour with the kids and I would just read a magazine where he couldn't see me. I have left my son at the play date of airport road twice and glenburnie twice. Since 18 months and now 21 months. I told them if he cries TO much to just let me know and I will take him. I didn't plant on leaving him since I thought the class was on. So he cries off and on for 15 minutes and they would try to give him some toys which is fine. He's there to play anyways. I didn't want him to have snack since I planned on going to the class, I wasn't paying $6.00 for him to eat a luchable ham and cheese...yuck. Finally he was crying so bad and wouldn't stop so I got up and when I looked the two girls working their were rolling there eyes at each other and jut staring at him with an annoyed look. REALLY? You're job is to work with kids and if you can't handle any aspect of it you should probably look else where. I didn't appreciate that at all. I told them from the beginning if its to much just let me know but he's always fine. Instead they were rolling there eyes. I saw it clear as day. I was trying hard not to yell at them with all the kids there I did not think it was appropriate. I will never bring my son back. Who knows how they act when the parents are gone. Hopefully the owner watches them on the cameras. They just seem like its a job to them and its more of an annoyance to deal with the kids. You guys should really update you're website and also post when classed are canceled. It seemed like an after thought to them.
