We showed up with two little ones just as the place was supposed to be opening, at 10. It didn't look open, so I sat outside for a few minutes watching the cars speed by on the 401 only a few feet away. Finally I tried the door and it was open, and I stood around for a bit until a staff member came by. She was on the phone--in fact, she was on the phone the entire time we were there. The place wasn't set up yet and she was vacuuming the place and setting up a party room, all while on the phone. I'm not a fan of this place for my kids. One room was ice cold (it was December). I didn't find the padding at the foot of the slides sufficient, and the thin carpet over the concrete floor has no bounce to it and any kid who falls would get a pretty good bang. The climbing equipment was not easy to move around on, and I didn't have easy access to the kids when they were high up in the climbing apparati when I needed to. There's a climbing wall with no padding on the ground below--one quick slip to the barely covered concrete below. Perhaps most egregiously, there wasn't any coffee--that would have been a nice touch for the adults--and nowhere really for the parents to sit down. It's $8 each kid to play all day, which for us was about an hour. Not the best value to me. I prefer the Amazon playground on Vaughn Road, and the best I've seen so far is Amazing Adventures in Burlington; it would have been worth the drive. read more

First time using this venue for a birthday party. Pros: kids enjoyed. Can fit up to 30 kids and some adults for the party room. Larger play area open to private parties as well. reasonable price for what is offered. Large space. Easy access from highway. Overall clean facility. Cons: the outside appearance looks very run down and unattractive. Entrance on the back side of building. Some of the decor is very old and falling apart. NEEDS AN UPDATE. number of games were not working (when I booked the venue, was not made aware of it. On day of party when I raised concern, was told as a matter of fact without any efforts to apologize or make up for it) . The host is very indifferent, did not take initiative. When we asked for a few extra chairs, was said no. Verdict: not going to be my first choice, but for its convenience and reasonable price, it will make the bottom of my list. read more

Ok, the place is really huge, and they have some arcade games to play too. but that day , we arrived at almost 4, and the lady said that we couldn't stay and play, because they were going to have a party at 4, and we must not stay. :( what a pity.. oh well,that day was actually not a good day to play because there was NO AIR CONDITIONING!! I gave it 1* simply because I couldn't go any lower.. Had my 5yr old son's party at the Brampton location and it was terrible. Booked the place for 2 hours and 15 minutes before my end time they wanted us out of the room to clean for the next party that was due to start RIGHT after ours. They don't allot time for cleanup so they do it during the booked party times. TERRIBLE! Did I mention when we arrived NOTHING was set up either? We had to help in order for it to be ready when guests began rolling in but it was too late. We were setting up while people got there. The pizza was very late..not to mention it was gross and most people didn't even touch it. The promised coffee was only half a pot and the host stole food and hid it in the drawer. Simply pathetic..we would have offered! and we normally tip the host as well but to be honest I was so disgusted with the place and service I didn't even care to. The price ended up being more than most places when all was said and done. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will definitely never book a party there either. So not worth it! read more

Clean washroom, good staf .BUT , cold room , super cold floor , carpet on the floor is thin , my kid was sliding from the slide , missed this little carpet and hit the floor. In order to use small tunnel to dive in to a plastic bols a child has to go outside of the playground! Out of my sight ! Half of the activity inside of the main room are the coin asking activitys! Review for their sumner camp. The staff there have no knowledge of how to deal with children. They use threats to get them to conform, don't pay attention to the kids and stop bad behaviour. There is no structure to the day and all they do is try to make the children play games all day. That's it! My children will never be going back again, which they are more than happy about. read more

On regular days me and my 4 year old daughter really like going here. Today we went to the Easter Egg hunt as we have for the last two years. What I love most is the staff. They are friendly and easy going. The event is well planned with egg hunt, crafts, petting farm, meet the Easter bunny, an adult game for a good prize, video truck, all while the kids can use the regular slides and gym. If you live nearby and have nowhere else to take your little one for a change of scenery then go here. But don't drive from across town to get here. Pros: there is lots of parking, the place is big and there are 2 main play areas and plenty of seating for snacks. Cons: it's way too loud! The place has a strange smell. I hope it's cleaning solution. When you pay to get in there are games that you also have to pay for in addition to the slides and climbing things around for little ones. Also. I found an open safety pin on the carpet which I stepped on. Thank goodness my kids didn't step on it! I question whether they vacuum everyday. All in all my kids had fun but they are 3 and 2 so they don't care about he stuff I mentioned. Although when I asked my 3 year old if he liked this place or our regular spot Monkey Magoos he said Monkey Magoos. I'm glad we at least tried it here though. This place is AWFUL- STAY AWAY!!! I was there yesterday for a birthday party and I am so disgusted with the place that I am going to take my complaints further up then just on yelp. My friend paid over $700 to rent the private room with their "ultimate" package and was cheated out of a lot! First off- what a DIRTY place! The main play area had FOOD crushed into the ball pit, which in itself is a joke, and nothing had been wiped in years. The private room we were in also housed some of the broken arcade games and random junk, and the amount of dust and grime in there made me want to throw up. The bathroom with the change table was "locked from the inside" and apparently that meant nobody could open it so I was told to "just change you baby on the floor". What if a child had locked themselves inside? Or a person in a wheelchair needed that bathroom? Pee on the floor I guess. The other "main" bathroom had 2 stalls, 1 of which was "dirty" so they came and closed it off, leaving 1 stall to use. The paper towels were out so they slapped a roll on top of the dispenser, good enough, right? We won't even talk about the sheer filth that was in there. To summarize the food experience- it took them forever to bring out the pizza, shorted us on 2 pitchers of juice, provided plain paper plates when themed ones were paid for and the water for the tea was yellow and had black particles floating in it. When it came time to cut the cake, there was no knife. I asked for one and was told that a previous party had "stolen" the knife. So, no more knives? I was given a plastic one out of a random to go package and said that the cake was soft so that would be "good enough". The "loot bags" were 3 items, all dollar store quality and they "forgot" to give the birthday child the special birthday gift. Also supposed to be included in the package was a play pass for the arcade games for the birthday child, which once we asked for were told that it was for a NEXT visit, which is not what is stated in their package. The only employee in the house was always missing, never smiled, was so uninterested in her job that I thought at any point she might just close up and leave. I had my children's birthday there on the 27th (they turned 2) and I'm finally over the exhaustion - it took 24 hours. I'd like to respond to some of the comments I've read about before I add my own. If you look on their site, the calendar always informs everyone when there is a private function and the hours it's available. As for air conditioning, I have no complaints the 7 times I have been there not including my children's party, I haven't broken a sweat other than the one running after my toddlers. We've been fortunate never to have encountered a broken A/C while there. We've never had an issue or problem with the staff. I am a difficult person, and I expect service even if you're a volunteer, I especially expect someone to be polite when it's a place for my children to play. I am paying to use your facility, be happy that I've chosen your establishment and do not give me attitude, I don't care if you've had a bad day. I can not count the number of waiters that have upset me. My husband and I have always found the staff to be personable, polite and pleasant. I come from a large rude Greek family, I can detect sarcasm and eye rolls from another room. No problem with any of the staff. It can get busy sometimes, but I find them to be efficient and quick. The venue is always clean if it wasn't I wouldn't take my children there. I've never detected an unpleasant odour at Kidnetix and at the moment I am 5 months pregnant and have superhuman taste and smell. It is difficult to find if you don't know the area or look at a map before you come for the first time, and GPS isn't always accurate, but that should only happen your first time, unless your memory is short and you are very forgetful. Maybe Kidnetix should have a huge yellow arrow pointing to their venue from the sky, like McDonald's golden arches? Now my review and experience of the best birthday party I have ever been to, not including my 25th in Las Vegas but that isn't on the same level and Kidnetix does not offer free shooters so I can't compare. We booked the event for 12:15 and had purchased the "Ultimate Party" package. The place was decorated and set up beautifully, the host Shaniece (most incredible human being on earth) was there to help us carry our things to the back and she helped us set up. The only thing, thinking back, that I would change about the party room, was I should have asked for a second table for all the food I brought, we brought a lot. It did not occur to me at that moment. As for seating it can get cramped, but it was still accommodating for the 56 guests . The children did not all sit down at the same time and were too busy running around to stay put for some pizza. In the end the eating happened throughout the party, especially with the parents of children over 6 because their bundles of joy did not need or want their parents around as they were jumping, running around and playing video games or playing air hockey. There were 24 children, 5 over the age of 6 and no one was bored. Energy was exerted and fun was had by all. I do suggest if you have over 40 people to just splurge and get at least 3 party pizzas especially if you have a lunchtime party. With all my food, people loved the Pizzaville pizza. At one point there were some hiccups that I experienced, people showed up who I wasn't expecting and my host Shaniece quickly asked for the children's ages and names and took care of their loot bags so they wouldn't feel left out at the end of the party. There was also this other instance when one of my girlfriends little boy was crying and she had to step out with him for most of the party, Shaniece on her own took a plate of food out to her in the hallway. Above and beyond what I would expect. Kai the receptionist that day greeted all my guests with her beautiful smile and was quick to make sure every child received their loot bag as they were leaving. The loot bags were plentiful and cool. No complaints. Before anyone thinks this is a love fest, it mostly is because my toddlers party was AMAZING. The only thing I would change about the venue and it has absolutely nothing to do with decor, staff or games is that there should be a gate or a door or stoppage to keep children under 3 from running to the front of the room. I know we should keep an eye on them, but with twins or if you're alone with more than two children under 4 it would be nice to know they could not pass a certain point. Children run fast and I can barely do a brisk walk. Parking is not an issue, with certain places downtown if you're not taking a bus or walking, parking can be stressful and limited. I have been to indoor play-lands downtown and I'm thankful for them because I do not have access to a car during the day, but as far as a party venue or if you can drive please try Kidnetix out. The kids will enjoy it more than you, but that's the whole point. read more

Went to Kidnetix March break 2015. I have to say this is an amazing place, I invited a lot of people because I heard a lot of great things about it. Everyone had a blast including the adults. Its a great indoor playground, all the children loved it. The staff there are excellent especially Rose, she really knows how to make everyone feel comfortable. They even have a game truck which my 16 year old thought was amazing. A party was setup before my eyes there and it was just beautiful. Kidnetix is a clean, friendly, safe and cozy environment we will be having play dates from now on @kidnetix. We are going to also attend the easter egg hunt, my children are really looking forward to that day. Great place for parties and also for kids to have some fun. Everyone bring your kids there they will surely enjoy themselves. read more

We went to this new play place with the kids and they just loved it ! Their still working on some minor things but the place was GREAT! We went in November and one of the rooms they had the A/C full blasting...it was soo cold. I found not enough mats on the slides..specially when you have small toddlers. This place stinks! Literally! I did not find this place to be clean at all. The staff was extremely rude, one girl with brown hair upon entering was no pleasent or friendly at all. If you expect to run a successful business being personable is the first step! Also without proper signage how do we find the place? The place is horrible! Yes the games were very nice but the girl that worked there was not a nice person. I had my kid's birthday party there and had already informed them that there were parents that were coming that needed to stay there because many kids were pretty young. When I arrived there were only 4 tables set up for 20 children and no place for the parents to sit. She said that she could not put up any more tables because of the fire code so parents had to stand up when kids came to eat the pizza and the cake. I had brought my own food for the kids and the parents and asked for a table cloth for the table where I was going to set up the food. The first thing the girl tells me is that she has to charge me $2 for it. I said that it was a table for the food and that I was already paying over $430 for two hours of play. On top of that you can not bring outside pizza to the place. (they provide their own for the kids but if you want to give pizza to the parents you have to ask them to buy it for you). The nasty beahvior of the woman working there continued to the end of the party when she started cleaning up the place 20 minutes before the end even though all the parents were still sitting and eating (well they could not do that anymore, they had to stop). Bottom line is she ruined everything for $2 and the whole experience for everybody. No need to say that I will not have any more birthdays there and neither will my friends and family who all have small kids and are constantly looking for a nice place for a kids party. read more

Brought my niece here was excited from the description on the website but I wasn't as able to play with her as I would have liked. When we got off the bus we weren't even sure the place was open. Also the price wasn't what it said on the website it said it was 8 but it was 9 with tax. Prices for tokens for games wasn't bad $5 for 15 tokens but about half of the games were oit of order I thought since I paid to come in the games should be free. DO NOT book your kids birthday party here!!! You will be greatly disappointed and most of all ripped off! the AC does NOT work, my guests and our kids were melting!!! Booked in May for end of June party. The playground has 1 large play area with sectioned off party room area, and smaller playroom in the back. The main playground is well lit the party room area with tables is not, seemed too dark When visiting in May they told us we could book smaller room in the back and the rest of the playground would be open to public and shared for $650, or book the entire facility for $850. We were expecting 55 parents and 35 kids so I opted for the full facility rental and was promised the following package: FULL FACILITY RENTAL $850+tax Host a birthday party when you book our full facility. We will close to the public and provide you with use of both playgrounds to host your party. 3 Hours of private use of our FULL FACILITY, Invitations, Set up/Clean up, 6 Pitchers of Juice, 2 Party sized pizza's, Birthday tableware for children, Themed balloon bouquet, Gift for birthday child, Play pass for birthday child The only slot they had for Sunday was 4:45pm with two other parties there earlier and were told to come at 4:40pm to set up, just 5 mins before party start!!! On Sunday, we get into the playground and its an absolute SAUNA!!! must have been at least 35 degrees in there hot, stuffy and sticky!!! Immediately I ask why the AC wasn't working, the staff didn't seem surprised and gave me a story how the AC unit is in the smaller playroom in the back and the party that was held before us had the door closed so the rest of the playground got hot. Of course I was immediately stressed out and sweating, guests were arriving already. She suggested we move all tables and food to the smaller room since it takes "overnight" for the large play area to cool down. She offered to bring out couple of fans. The whole story didn't make sense and the fact that she brought out the fans so quickly means that they had this problem all along not just that day as she said. (PS read the review from July 2011 when another lady said the AC wasn't working even then!!!) There was only two of them working and they took their sweet time with everything, when they should have hurried to move all food and tables. Of course my guests start arriving with their kids most were under 4 years old and before I can even say hi, I see sweat beads on everyone's faces. How embarrassing! I spent the next 3 hours apologizing for the inconvenience of the AC not working and watching everyone break out in sweat, especially the kids with their hairs getting wet and sweaty! Needless to say we spent 80% of the time in the small party room in the back, few kids would venture out into the large play area but come back 5 mins later all hot and sweaty. thank god I brought cases of water, ginger ale, coke, juice boxes otherwise my guests wouldn't have anything to drink. The staff never offered the 6 pitchers of juice as per package, when I asked them about it at the and one of the girls just said: "oh I must have forgotten". Other items missing were the birthday balloon bouquet for main table decoration, gift for the birthday child and play pass for the birthday child. Not to mention the paper towels in the bathrooms were out and I had to go and ask them to refill. They specifically asked me to tell all my guests no bare feet allowed only socks so I made sure everyone was wearing socks, after 3 hrs the soles of my white socks were BLACK!!! EWW!! when do they mop the floors!!! To sum up for my $850+ tax all we got was 2 party size pizzas, unprofessional staff and one hot sweltering dirty floors sauna playground. I felt completely ripped off and embarrassed in front of my friends and families. Before we left I was going to speak up and see if they can charge me for the smaller party room booking since we barely used anything else. Rosalie asked to settle the bill before took our stuff out as my guests were leaving, I couldn't even say good bye to them, that's when I explained that it wasn't fair to pay close to a $1000 when my guests and their kids were so uncomfortable and we didn't even get half of the items were were promised, it was their responsibility to keep the playground cool enough in summer hours and they completely blindsided me and provided no warning of this issue. I was very pleasant and not confrontational, she seemed surprised I was complaining at all. Of course I would pay for a portion but I refused to pay for the whole thing. She called the owner, whom I told the same thing, she then asked to speak to Rosalie and hung up. Rosalie then said owner offered $50 off, that's it!!!! After some more back and forth she would only bring down $100 I was so fed up and just wanted to leave! in the end I paid $850 tax in, oh and they charge 3% extra if using a credit card!!!!! I went there for a cousins birthday. It was from 730 to 1030pm. 1.It was during winter time the place was freezing most guest had their coats on plus where the children kept the shoes were in front of the room kids walked on a cold floor out of the play area to remove and put back. The lady there had more clothing on then the children themselves.. We were told the heat was on um either it was and it sucked or had to be fixed 2. The arcade games needed tokens and you have to purchase them making some kids want to play but could not. 3. They had no microwave or least a working one to warm up babies milk. 4. A child dropped their drink and the own parent had to clean up the area when it was told they did clean up. 5. The ball pit was a shame needed more balls some were broken where my son got a little cut from. 6. They had delivered pizza too early and it was too oily. 7. As soon as it hit 10:30 we were getting kicked out. Overall my son loved it just a few areas they need to fix and have it more organized and cleaner. We went there for 10:00 on a Saturday morning and the place wasn't open. I called... no answer. I waited. No one came. I checked their website to see if there were special events to explain why the place wasn't open. No messaging on their website. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE. I suggest that if you don't care about customer service and want to give this place a try - that you CALL IN ADVANCE. What a waste of time. Not to mention the disappointment for my 2 year old. Took my 2 kids there this morning to the Toronto location and the place was filthy, the carpet haven't been vacuumed in a VERY a long time. There were cake crumbs, popcorn, cookies on the floor and equipment. A lot of dust and even spider webs, carpet is disgusting. The lady at the front is rude and when I told her that the place needed a good cleaning she asked "why?", so I showed her the floor and the food crumbs and she pretended not to see and asked me "where". There were half a cookie on the floor and she kept asking "where". So considering today is Thursday and the last party was probably on the weekend, at least 4 days without vacuuming. If you consider the spider webs... No wonder the place is empty. Kidnetix is also overpriced and they charge small babies who can barely walk the same as an older toddler who can climb and run (even with a paying sibling). Most of the equipment and toys are not appropriate for babies so why charge $9? Not coming back ever! Don't waste your money! read more
