I have seen the managers getting after the teachers for doing their job. There was a teacher today that I saw working hard and got yelled at for not being with her class even though she was. They take out their stress on teachers and I hate seeing it as a former teacher myself, especially after seeing it happen almost daily! No wonder they are starting to have so many teachers leave!! We love my son's teacher but are tempted to leave after seeing how they treat others. I usually see it in the evening with one of the staff that is new to management when it comes to the yelling at multiple teachers. The only reason I am staying at this point is because we paid for summer camp and my son loves his B group teachers. The only way I will be staying past summer is if the management starts treating their staff like people and caring for them instead of yelling at them for going the extra mile and helping their peers out, which I have noticed quite a bit. On top of it all, the place is messy! I have seen vents full of dust, teachers sweeping but the floors looking like they need mopped for once, and others just pushing through their day without cleaning up the food off the floor. Gross! I know I may not have the same experience as everyone else, however I know my experience needed to be placed so others know what they are walking into. Especially after talking with other parents who have seen the issues as well!

Ms Monsi is his teacher, and works so hard with the kids. She is very nurturing with all the students. I feel like she has my son's best interest at heart. They have helped her so much in learning different things and boosting her confident level. Soon as you walk in, most of the time, you are greeted by Ms. Carrie or Ms. Phyllis. They are so welcoming and will make you feel at ease dropping your child off. They are willing to help in anyway. My little one has been going to Primrose for a few months now (he is in the older infant class-15…read moremonths old). He has learned so much while he has been there, I do not consider this a daycare but truly a school. Primrose uses an app called Tadpoles, this is an all digital system, so no paper filling out, everything you put in (last diaper change, last meal etc) goes into your phone app and directly to the school. The reports and messages from the school comes to your phone as well, they even send pictures as well, which is nice to see how your child is doing during the day. They also offer another app as well that is your child's class music you can download to your phone as well and listen to anytime! Primrose sticks to a schedule of meal times, activities etc, which is great. Though right now, we are still living on the other side of town and sometimes cut the breakfast time a little close. But, if we are running late, we can call and they will ensure my little one gets breakfast. The admin staff are great, they knew my name right after I took the tour and continue to be very accommodating and nice when we call, no matter the reason. The curriculum for the kids is great, on the app, I see everything my child has learned that day, they also send home things you can further assist your child in learning that fits into the weekly learning plan. I would recommend this school for anyone who is considering a great school for their child. Though the wait time can be longer, put in your name as things change and your child may be able to get in before the usual waiting period.

The conversation started when I asked him was he excited to go school and he said no. I asked is he excited to see his friends he said no then I said what about your teacher and he said " no, my teacher whooped me." I asked him what does he mean and he demonstrated by patting his butt saying " my teacher whooped me" and saying he doesn't want to go to school anymore. I addressed my concerns to the receptionist and the director. The director stated that since they do not allow cameras in the classroom it is hearsay. She explained to me that since my son is only three I shouldn't believe him. I mentioned setting up a meeting so I can talk to the teachers in the classroom and she said it wouldn't resolve anything. I went up to the school before the phone conversation with the director and wanted to speak to the teacher. The teacher didn't want to speak to me because she was upset about the accusations and it ruined her day. My son is now unenrolled in the preschool and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody!!!!

After reading the negative review, I felt the need to add my experience with the Mill Run Primrose…read more I have two children 12 months apart, 2 years old and 3 years old, enrolled since birth with Tara's school. It's not inexpensive; in fact, it's about as pricey as it gets, but as expectant parents who have done their homework know, there's not a wide margin from school to school, and the several that we explored before choosing Primrose that were substantially less expensive...well I wouldn't step foot back in those schools. The kind of relationships that my children have built with ALL of their teachers trough the several classrooms they have been in is on par with the kind of relationship they have with their grandparents and aunts and uncles. The primrose staff is family to my children. Several teachers that ended up leaving primrose still keep contact with me on Facebook, and send messages of well wishes and asking how the girls are doing. Both of my girls are potty trained, know more sign language than I can keep up with, and are creatively and socially engaged beyond the level of which I could hope them to be in most any other circumstance. The moral of the story - if you're looking for an environment that fosters loving friendship, family values, and education foremost, and you hope to have your children more developmentally advanced than their stay-at-home counterparts...if you want to leave your daycare every morning at drop off knowing that they're in the hands of people you love and trust, the Mill Run Primrose should be your first option. Even after divorce and a tighter budget, I've never considered an alternative option. Do yourself a favor and go tour with Tara, Liz, and Katie and meet the teachers my children consider family.
