She hosts regular meetings for parents to talk to her and will also always be happy to hop on a meeting any afternoon to discuss any questions and concerns. The program itself stood out to me immediately for being a really good supportive model for development. The students are not playing "Lord of the Flies" out in the woods, they are guided and supported by amazing teachers who spend their afternoons writing documentation of the learning in their classrooms and designing emergent curriculum. We could not be happier with the school we chose and our daughter loves school passionately. We have even decided to keep her in Native School another year instead of moving to the free public TK because of how much we love the program and the teachers.

I am giving Green Flash 2 stars based on a severely rushed recent inspection and the poor quality…read moreof their past repair work. Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

"How did this ever happen??!", noticing a buttonhole that needed a small amount of repair. She automatically took the shirts and hung them up on her to-do rack making it somewhat uncomfortable for me to say thanks, but no thanks. It was then I wanted to know how much the bill would be, and she replied $24. I then grabbed the shirts off of her rack and bid her a good day. I have seen this same tactic used at different types of repair shops where the owner overly dramatizes what needs to be done and takes possession of the item prior to discussing the charge or getting approval. In sales that's called the assumptive close, where they act as though they assume you will approve the work and pay their price for the very minimal effort required. Don't fall for it. I have just now received a response from the lady's husband indicating that I must have visited a different shop and mistakenly thought I was in theirs. Absolutely not possible as I've been in several times in the past. Perhaps showing the shirts will refresh her memory and also defend my own. For full disclosure, the green shirt does have a small half-inch rip on the back side.

Andre went way out of his way to call and remind me that the bill was due, he even let me know how many days I had to work with before a late charge would be assessed once I realize that I wasn't going to be able to use my bank card in time he immediately sent me a form which was super easy to fill out online, allowing my bank account to be linked to my auto pay, and the funds were immediately available so that my items in storage were safe and sound Andre followed up with me to make sure that I had it done if I needed any help he was there for me and just overall compassionate and understanding! Kids Castle has been such a blessing for our family. As a parent of a one-and-a-half-year-old, finding a daycare that I could fully trust was incredibly important, and Kids Castle has exceeded every expectation. The staff is so loving, patient, and attentive with the children. They truly take the time to engage with each child at their level, making learning fun through play, music, activities, and daily interactions. My son absolutely loves going each day, and it brings me so much comfort knowing he is surrounded by people who genuinely care about him. Since starting at Kids Castle, I have seen tremendous growth in my son. His vocabulary has expanded, his confidence has blossomed, and he has learned so many new skills. It's amazing to see how much he absorbs from the nurturing and stimulating environment they provide. What I appreciate most is the trust I have in the entire team. They treat my son with so much kindness, patience, and affection that it feels like leaving him with family. The love and care they show every child is evident in everything they do. Our son has been attending Kids Castle for nearly 2 years. I could not emphasize enough how much we love Sayena. My son was sooo slow to warm up to anyone, especially since this was the first time we were leaving him somewhere. She welcomed him with hugs daily, reassuring me frequently. Sayena provides the most comforting environment and incredible play-based learning. Daily they work on letters, art, and dancing. They dress up and do crafts. She makes incredible homemade food, and has gotten my son to eat all sorts of new things. The children adore her. She is patient and kind and warm. She even helped with potty training. Sayena communicates frequently with parents sending pictures and videos daily. Her home is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend Kids Castle, it has been the best in home daycare! read more

They are experienced professionals (including 3 boys of their own) and you will never have to worry about your child's safety, happiness, or general well-being. They use an app to upload pics of your kiddo throughout the day, and another app to track your child's daily activities, e.g. eating, potty, naps, etc. The outdoor play area is a big yard with all kinds of fun play structures, bikes, wagons, water table, etc. There are frequent arts and crafts activities, little birthday celebrations for each child, and visits by Santa during the holidays. This place is literally the opposite of a cookie-cutter, sterile, kid mill. My daughter has learned a lot and made friends here. She loves coming here, and sometimes cries when she has to leave, requiring that I carry her out of the place kicking and screaming. Truly. I have completely avoided the anxiety of leaving my child with strangers and not knowing how she will fare, because she is so happy here.

They are the most loving authentic human beings on the planet and they love all the children. Each of them treat each child with love and respect in every interaction. We couldn't be more thankful to their impact on our little loves lives. Our middle child entered shy and a little guarded and left transformed- confident and happy. She is now 6 and is thriving beyond our wildest imaginations at kindergarten. Our youngest is in his second year at Highland and he loves school so much so he doesn't want to be picked up until closing and when he is an adult he wants to teach at Highland. Thank you to all at Highland for loving, nurturing and supporting my kiddos so well! PS Highland staff is also diverse, and likely as a result, student population fairly diverse too, which is also of high value to our family. PPS Love that the kids spend so much time outside!

I have sent emails to four different contacts provided by the school website asking about enrollment over several months, and have not received any replies at all. I understand they could be busy or fully enrolled, but at the very least someone could send a one sentence email saying they are full. Extremely disappointing communication, which is too bad because it looks like a lovely place.

We toured numerous daycare centers in Vista, and Three Little Owls was the obvious choice for a number of reasons. First, it was by far the cleanest daycare center we toured. The teachers and owners are extremely vigilant about daily cleaning and sanitizing. It was also opened more recently so all of the toys, supplies, and furniture are very new and clean. Next, they make all meals fresh for the students, daily. My son started at six months when he began solids and I was so impressed with the food they offered him. (They make the babies homemade bone broth puree!) my daughter also loved all of the homemade meals and snacks in the preschool. Lastly, the owners and teachers all truly love the students. My husband and I both work full time and leaving our babies everyday is hard. However, I always felt so confident that they were loved and cared for by every teacher at Three Little Owls. You don't find teachers that compassionate and invested in the children at every daycare. It is truly a special place. I highly recommend Three Little Owls to anyone looking for childcare.
