My child has a food…read moreallergy and they have always been willing to work with us (unfortunately he isn't the only child there w/an allergy). The curriculum is great and focuses on learning(instead of child led learning). I completely feel like the staff is pushing the kids to get the most without making It a chore/difficult. I highly recommend this preschool for anyone wanting a great education for a decent price.

This used to be elementary school is now known as the Chesapeake Community Center. It has a track…read moreand baseball field outside; inside there are rooms with work out equipment and weights as well as a basketball court. To be able to use the workout equipment and weights, there's a $20 fee a month. But what I like most about this place is the Zumba class which is only five dollars a class and a lot of fun. If you're interested in Zumba, it's Monday and Thursday at 6:30! Friendly people and a great way to burn calories. I understand there's also a self-defense classes but I have not attended those. In the portable buildings outside there is a senior center although I have not been there either. The reason I'm giving it four out of five stars is that I believe the city, or whoever owns the center, can do a lot more with the outdoor space to make it more community and kid friendly- perhaps add a small playground next to the baseball field? Pick up the trash around the track?
