They have treated us for strep, minor eye injury, coughs, ear infections, etc. They usually administer medication immediately in the case of a fever, provide water or an ice pop and sometimes follow up directly if they have concerns. They always send the visit info to our daytime pediatrician so they are fully informed. We love them. Totally a great alternative to emergency rooms. Quick, easy, don't recall being overly shocked by the bill, etc. Thank you for all your care!

My kids are always treated with gentleness and kindness that helps (especially the 3-year-old) them feel safe. When my 3-year-old was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder, the Capitol Pediatrics team jumped into action and learned all about it. Dr. Morgan has been a saint through this. Rebecca, Jenny, and the entire nursing staff are the kindest, most caring people. I know they give the same treatment they would with their own. And finally, I give Rebecca, the lactation consultant, all the credit for me finally having a successful nursing journey with my youngest. She is patient, gentle, and allows mom and baby to navigate the journey together.

The front desk staff lacks a lot of customer service. I feel like I'm bothering them when I ask to schedule appointments. Since the switch to unc it's even worse. I had to redo all their info and I have 5 children. They now have so many patients they don't have time for your children anymore. Half the time I have to wait 30 mins after the kids appointment time before seen. Then sit in the room for up to 20 mins. That is kinda crazy. I miss the way it used to be.

Our hope in moving practices was to be in a practice that felt neurodivergent affirming -- not just tolerant. We were met with kindness and grace at our first appointment with our fourth child, a newborn baby. We came with challenges and feared a difficult visit. Dr. Lopez listened intently, asked insightful questions and provided thorough advice and guidance. Dr Lopez's follow up on a particular visit topic was timely and persistent--so appreciated as a sometimes overwhelmed mom of four! We decided to switch the older kids, including our neurodivergent child, into the practice after our first visit. I have since read Dr. Lopez's background and am delighted to see the wonderful professional experience he has as well as his presence as an educator at UNC. His teaching and volunteer roles in the community indicate to me that he is someone who is continually exposed to new and emerging information rather than remaining complacent with initial med school teachings. He has been refreshingly willing to talk to and treat us like we are collaborative members of our child's healthcare needs. We have found a collaborative and empowering approach to be an incredibly valuable trait for a physician to have -- particularly as parents of a neurodivergent child. I highly recommend Dr. Lopez to any family who values an active and educated role in their child's healthcare. Accolades and experience aside--Dr. Lopez was diligent to connect with my neurodivergent child who, after a few bad years of illnesses and procedures, often experiences anxiety in medical offices. He is kind, silly and disarming in his bedside manner with my children. A visit once began with my child fearfully hiding behind me and ended with my child delivering a big joyous hug for Dr. Lopez. Super disappointed in this place. We just had a baby last September, our first one. At first, we…read morereally liked it here because of the lactation consultant. She is still wonderful. Unfortunately, we feel like every time we came with an issue, it was pretty overlooked and not much medical advice was given to us. We were better off googling the symptoms or asking our nurse friends. There were several nurses who judged the way I was feeding my son during the last two appointments. The front desk lady let me know that I would be charged even though I called as soon as I got out of the Dr office and found out I was sick/contagious and couldn't bring my son into his appointment in the late afternoon. We would drive 35 min to go here and feel like unfortunately, it was not worth our drive. We found a new office that we like much better who truly listens to our concerns and does not charge anything if you are a sick, full-time working mother who is already struggling to get out of work and doing the best she can. Again, we loved the lactation consultant, and there was a young female doctor with brown hair who we also enjoyed- she was very gentle with our son. I wish they went somewhere else. As far as the other doctors & nurses- they didn't want to hear any concerns we had. And the one front desk lady is not pleasant over the phone at all. She sounds like she does not enjoy her job... but the other front desk ladies are typically nice. She didn't even try to explain anything to me when I didn't understand the charge and then she sounded surprised when I told her we were switching practices. Overall, 3/5 stars I guess but only because of the lactation consultant and the one dr we thought actually listened to us. We did not feel a connection with any of the other staff at all.

She really listened to us when so many other doctors didn't (when my daughter had a milk protein intolerance or was trying to wean from her ng tube, for instance). She's quick to make referrals when necessary and is very prompt in responding to our concerns. But she especially shined recently, when my daughter had a medical emergency while we were traveling abroad. Dr Arora worked tirelessly late at night for hours to get us medication my daughter desperately needed but couldn't get abroad. Dr Arora's compassion for our plight and tenacity in getting a prescription through to a 24 hour pharmacy goes to show what a wonderful pediatrician she is. Our family is incredibly grateful for her support over the years.

It's great to go to a office where it's one doctor (a nurse practitioner is available as well) where she knows the history of your child inside out. Highly recommend.

The staff here is always so pleasant and welcoming from the front desk to the nurses and providers, everyone treats you with kindness and respect. One thing I really appreciate is how efficient they are. I've never waited more than 5 minutes after checking in for my appointment. They run like clockwork, and it makes visits stress-free and smooth. Having the lab right on site is also a huge plus no need to drive elsewhere. My test results always go directly to my Duke MyChart, which makes it easy to stay on top of everything. Truly grateful to have such a dependable, professional, and friendly care team.
