The bus picks up the kids at the Cheviot Hills Rec Center. Then you do not see nor speak with them until they return. The only correspondence permitted is via email or USPost. They also post daily picks of the kids at play to the web site. Twas a great way to help build a kid's sense of independence. That was my motivation to send mine here. We're both happy. Bullard Ave location is easy, parking is fine, and the staff is genuinely warm every time I've been in. Fresno honestly needed a place like this. somewhere to go that isn't a restaurant or a bar, that's actually good for your brain, and that you leave feeling proud of yourself. They offer both ceramic painting and pottery-making classes, and I'd love to return to try a pottery class. The only downside is that classes aren't on weekends and are held on weekday evenings for a few hours, which can be a bit hard to fit into our schedule. They had a nice variety of pieces to choose from. There's a $10 studio fee per painter plus the cost of the item. You pay for your piece first, then select colors and follow their painting instructions. My husband joined me and my son he didn't paint so was not charged a fee. The studio is about a 25-30 minute drive from Clovis, so it was a bit of a drive, but worth it for a fun, different activity together. I didn't realize beforehand that painted ceramics typically take about six weeks to be ready, though it makes sense since they also fire pottery and may have limited kiln space. Ours were actually ready in about three weeks, which was a great turnaround. Pickup was easy--they quickly located our items on a rack using the name slip attached. They didn't have the items wrapped either. One small thing I wish I had known is that they write your name and the date on the bottom of the finished piece. The ceramic I painted was a gift for my son, so I would have preferred not to have my name on it. If I had known, I would have asked about other options. Overall, the staff member who helped us choose our piece and paint colors was very friendly and helpful, making our first visit enjoyable. We'll definitely be back--especially to try one of their pottery classes!

My 5-year-old is enrolled in acting as well as a combined music and art class, and my 3-year-old also attends the combined music and art class. Both of my kids genuinely enjoy their lessons and have a lot of fun while learning. I've also appreciated all of the teachers we've worked with, they are fun, engaging, kind and patient! That said, I've found some of the office policies to be challenging. I've received differing information at times, and what I've been told verbally hasn't always aligned with what I signed regarding makeup classes, which has been confusing. Additionally, when the office is closed for holidays, the full monthly rate still applies even if a class is missed that month. There was also an instance when we arrived for class and no teacher was available. While an apology was offered, it was disappointing given the amount of coordination required for our family to attend, and a class credit would have been appreciated. On the other hand, when my children have been sick and unable to attend, makeup classes are not offered. I hope this is useful for others considering the program.

They do have a rescheduling policy if the student cannot make their scheduled lesson but chances are they might be assigned to another open instructor if their designated one is unavailable. Unfortunately, my child no longer attends (after 2 years) but only because she has the foundation to progress on her own. The staff here are friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to start learning an instrument.

The coaches are rude and offer no feedback to the tumblers. They appear lazy and disengaged. You are NOT allowed to watch and will receive dirty looks and a phone call if you do. This place is a huge waste of money and will offer no growth when your tumbler is leveled down under their level despite doing skills near perfect, there is always a slight deduction they will notice. When you question them they get defensive and rude and will treat your tumbler with even more criticism. Horrible coaches, horrible system, horrible customer service. Please take your business somewhere else and do NOT allow your tumbler to be belittled and torn appear by them further diminishing their confidence.

No Mother's Day celebration no Cinco de Mayo celebration no holiday celebrations or birthday goodies even if it's from the store. If the reason for no birthday goodies is the sugar and the dyes then I'm confused as to why they serve chips and gold fish and other snacks like that. But because I work a full time job the hours of this preschool is extremely convenient. The teachers are caring and loving, my daughter loves them. One time I walked in the classroom thon pick up my daughter and she was alone with a male teacher, I wasn't even aware of this. Wasn't made aware of a new teacher much less that my daughter will be alone with him at times in the evenings. I had an issue with one teacher, my daughter told me she grabbed her hand really tight and squeezed it. I immediately let the school site director know. Not too sure what happened besides a meeting because that teacher is still there. And I wasn't the only parent that complained about her for the same reason. Just recently my daughter told me her classroom was hot for a lot of days, and I couldn't understand if she said she had to sleep on the floor or had to sleep in room four because it was too hot. No teacher ever informed of this and school site director never informed me of this either, doesn't come to a surprise since the bathroom by my daughters class had been leaking for weeks maybe longer. My daughter even told me that a little girls slipped and bumped her head, I brought up to one of the assistants attention and nothing wasn't fixed at all. This year was supposed to a fun and exciting last year for my daughter and us as she was expected to graduate or promote from preschool wearing a cap and gown like they have all other previous years for I don't even know how long. But last minute the decision was changed, 3 weeks ago 5/31. They will not be wearing a cap and gown no ceremony like they've done previously. The main director in Carlsbad know every parent is upset, I have called multiple times to receive an explanation, so she can hear me out and allow them to wear cap and gowns. But she is extremely rude over the phone, no manners. Hard to believe she's in the position she's in talking to parents that way she does. How is the voices of parents of the students they teach not important! Another of the directors said that we couldn't afford a cap and gown that we are low income families. I do not recommend this preschool if you feel that your opinion and voice as parent is important. If you feel that you need to be aware and update of any and all changes of your child's preschool.
