From the director down, we have been blown away by the level of care, attention and thoughtfulness given to teaching, shaping and providing a great experience for the children (and their families). Our 2nd daughter started shortly after she was born in 2014 and is still there in a pre-K class. Our experience here has been amazing. Our older daughter never complained about going to school, she made lots friends, some of whom she continues to see outside of LGA and finished kindergarten knowing how to read and fully prepared for 1st grade in public school. Our younger daughter looks forward to going school every day and is having similar experience that her sister had. Through the years that we have been coming to LGA, we have gotten to know the owner/director, Miss Angela, and several of the teachers and administrative staff. It is clearly no accident that LGA is as successful as it is. Miss Angela is always there and takes a very hands on approach with every aspect of the school. Any time we have had a problem or concern, Miss Angela was extremely attentive and responsive in addressing our needs. All of the teachers that both of our girls have had took a genuine interest in their well being. They greet the children with a welcoming smile in the morning and they stay on top of their game in meeting the children's needs throughout the day. The administrative staff is courteous and professional and come across as warm and caring to the children - and they seem to know every child's name...very impressive.

We had some challenges and concerns when the center was sold a to a larger company, but the current center director is phenomenal and brings the whole center to the level of care, fun, and education that I have expected from them over the years. Several of the teachers have been there as long as we have (or longer!) and all of them are creative, caring, and make the center a wonderful experience that my daughter loves going to each day. They have begun clearing and creating nature trails behind the building which gives them more and more opportunities to incorporate nature into the daily experience. As a parent, this is not easy to write -- but I believe other families deserve to know what really…read morehappens behind the smiles. While everything looks perfect when parents are around, once you leave, the atmosphere completely changes. Teachers frequently raise their voices at the children, even waking toddlers up from naps by yelling, instead of using care or patience. The environment feels tense and fearful rather than loving and supportive, which is the opposite of what any child should experience in daycare. They also claim the cameras are "live view only" and do not record, which leaves parents without any accountability or evidence if something goes wrong. Diapers are often changed only twice a day, and food or bottles are not always properly labeled -- small things that add up to big concerns for hygiene and care. This review isn't out of anger -- it's out of disappointment. Our children deserve gentle voices, patience, and genuine care. I hope this center takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to protect the wellbeing of every child.

I haven't heard of or seen a school environment as comprehensive in child development as the Waldorf system. Their approach to academics is creative and instills in the child a love for learning. Along with all of the academics their is a strong interest in nature, the arts, music, and interpersonal development creating an environment that is deeply enriching and fulfilling. The Princeton Waldorf campus is beautiful and magical. The family community that develops along with the children is long lasting. I am a parent of a child who graduated in 1992 and continue to be a part of the Waldorf community.
