Preschool Inquiry Experience - Proceed with Caution…read more I wanted to share our recent experience with FUMC Preschool in Edmond as a heads-up for other families considering their program. We reached out with a respectful and thoughtful list of questions--things like curriculum, staff qualifications, governance structure, and family communication practices. Nothing intrusive, just due diligence before committing our child to a school. After receiving no response for over a week (including a follow-up voicemail from grandfather), we followed up again to clarify and make sure the email was received. What we got back wasn't answers--but a dismissive email suggesting we might not be a "good fit" simply for asking for transparency, followed by the director stating she would no longer respond to emails and inviting us to "find her supervisor's info on the website." It was condescending, unprofessional, and incredibly disappointing--especially from someone leading a program that should be built on trust, communication, and partnership with families. We've since moved on, but I believe other parents deserve to know what they might encounter if they reach out with genuine interest. Asking questions should never be treated as a problem. Make sure the program you choose welcomes your voice, not shuts it down.

This was fun to see & a great way for him to call back & be able to share more details with me. The staff at this program is wonderful. They truly care about the families that attend school there. Once we got the scheduling done, the entire process went smoothly. The oven repair was for a…read morebuilt-in Whirlpool model that I had already removed in an attempt to troubleshoot the issue. This took place in February or March 2026, and it's now early May, so unfortunately I don't remember the repairman's name, as I would definitely give him kudos for his workmanship & pleasant demeanor. The repairman who came out was very efficient & candid about what had happened & what needed to be done. It ended up being a particular fuse that sat immediately behind the control panel had failed, & it just required replacement. There was an entire litany of things that could've gone wrong with it, & he could've quoted me on several of those things, replaced them & charged me exorbitantly for the parts & labor. But... he did not. He was very honest with me & even educated me a little while he checked other parts ( mainly a different fuse on the back of the oven ) to make sure they were functional before he left. I most certainly would use Adam's Appliance Repair. Unfortunately for Yelp, I won't be needing their services in seeking an appliance repair service company - I've found who I'm sticking with hereafter!!

I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. Integrity like that deserves to be recognized.

I cannot tell where the damage was on the car seat. It looks new. Call them if you require repairs to almost any carpet, furniture or leather. You will be glad that you did.

I absolutely love this center. My kids have been going here for about 6 1/2 years now. My daughter took her first steps in their building and were just as excited about it as I was. My kids love going here and getting to see the other children and the teachers. Since they have been going for so long, they are treated like family. The center directors Amanda and Dana are wonderful and really care about the kids there. They have conversations with parents as if they are true friends, not just a customer. They go above and beyond to make sure that each child is taken care of and loved. I couldn't imagine my children going anywhere else. read more
