I cannot say enough wonderful things about this summer camp! My kids are 10 and 5 years old, and every single morning they wake up excited to go. As a parent, there is nothing better than seeing your children genuinely happy and looking forward to their day. Every week has a new theme, and the staff does an amazing job planning activities that match it. The older kids get to enjoy fun field trips, while the younger children have exciting indoor field trips that are perfect for their age. They also have water play on different days, which is always something my kids look forward to. One thing I really appreciate is that all of the activities and games are age-appropriate. I also love that each age group has its own playground designed for their developmental stage, while still having opportunities to spend time outdoors and enjoy playing together. What stands out the most to me is the camp's commitment to keeping the older kids active. In today's world, many older children would happily spend all day indoors on electronics or just hanging out. While the camp gives them time to socialize and enjoy indoor activities, they also make sure they spend about an hour outside each day. They play games, get some sunshine, and stay active. They also have an indoor gym and a coach, and have fun exercising. I truly appreciate that balance because it's so important for their physical well being. The staff also does an excellent job making hydration a priority. The children are reminded to bring their water bottles outside, teachers always have pitchers of water and cups available, and there's even a water fountain near the playgrounds. It's reassuring to know they are constantly looking out for the kids' health and safety, especially during the summer heat. Most importantly, my children come home smiling every day with new stories, and wonderful memories. Thank you to all of the amazing directors, teachers, and staff for creating such a fun, safe, engaging, and caring environment. The so called director of this summer camp is the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever met. I have so many complaints but I am just going to write about the one from today. There would be no point to tell her this complaint because she does not care abiut anything. My kid was forced to be outside at the playground for one hour with the temperature that felt over 100 degrees. She did not care when the kids asked to go back inside, she said no and make them stay outside for one hour. I think if it was hwr kids outside she would care. Or maybe she can be outside for one hour and her attitude will change. read more

Good Daycare, very family friendly/ wholesome feel to the place! Front desk staff is A1!

The staff is super nice and try their hardest to set up fun things for the kids.

Issue after issue after issue. My 4 year old cried, was hard to drop off the first 2 weeks into the year. Had never attended school before, this is normal behavior. Teacher suggests she might need a therapist. Few weeks in, teacher insists my child ignores her. We found she was speaking to my non spanish speaking child in spanish. Class is made up of 11 students, 3 speak no spanish. Its VPK, no instruction should be given in Spanish. Teacher was dumbfounded and asks 3 times if we were sure she did not understand or speak any spanish. Then I send her with a kids sport cup(hidden pop out straw type) with water. At first teacher insists she not take it to the playground, where the water fountain was not working. Then after a couple of months insist its against school policy to bring WATER... when I question her, blames it on the director, who tells me it would cause them to fail an inspection if seen. Not true. After me insisting, says I can bring it if I label it "water". I comply. And lastly, and most importantly... constant bullying. When brought up it's "son cosa de niños", translation, its normal kid stuff... except my child has been picked up many days sitting alone, with tears in her eyes because her friends were being mean. Reasons ranging from "you missed school yesterday" to "why does your hair look like that". They are 4, this is a vital age to teach kindness and acceptance. Apparently, they don't care. Also, I have been waiting 2 days for administration to call since the last complaint. She won't be going back at this point, and I feel terrible for allowing her to stay this long. read more

If I could give it a ZERO star review I would! I would absolutely NOT recommend this "school". After 4 years of being a part of their "community" I am EXTREMELY shocked and disappointed at the treatment I've just received from the staff and overall from the OWNER himself. The owner is the most unprofessional, rude and frankly disrespectful person I have ever spoken to IN MY LIFE! No matter how much money you have Mr. Bill, you Sir are UNFIT to run a "school". As a parent your concerns mean NOTHING at Kidworks USA. After voicing my concerns to the owner himself, his response was "are you done?" Then he went on to ridicule my concerns and throw in my face how much money he spends at the "school". My 6 year old son was on your watch, riding your $25,000 busses and for 1 hour, no one at the school could tell me if my son had been picked up from his elementary school, or if he was on the side of the road waiting for one of the new shiny busses to arrive. 1 hour of not knowing where your child is at, is NEVER EVER acceptable. So as you suggested I am taking my kid elsewhere and if you are currently enrolled or thinking of enrolling I hope this review makes your stomach turn too. And since there is no one above you Mr. Bill that'll listen or give validity to my concerns, I will publicly share them in as many outlets as possible. UPDATE 8/23 So the director of your award winning school abandoned said school, leaving a teacher and two brand new employees in charge, while she physically went to ensure the kids were brought back safely? That's an interesting protocol. In your odd recollection of what ACTUALLY happened, it seems you have failed to mention how condescending, insulting and above all how much profanity YOU spoke during our conversation. You also must have forgotten that it was YOU who ended our conversation VERY ABRUPTLY by hanging up on me. Only to later send me a text message sarcastically saying "thanks for the post". You also forget that I agreed with you, the FIRST priority is picking up the children however, the staff at the school should (without question) be capable of answering a simple question as to "is my son on the bus that broke down?" Running a private school does in fact mean that you are charging parents for the many services you so humbly applaud yourself for. I will agree with one thing, and I own what I said earlier this month (not June lol) Kidworks ROCKS! And you single-handedly ruined that in a matter of 24 hours. Please do not use my own words, to discredit my stance today. 10/17/2017 Update: I did this update on Facebook a month ago and I am doing it here now. My kids started in a new school, Kidworks has at the moment up to Second Grade and one of my sons moved to Third, we live far away so I couldn't keep one there and the other not.. Since I knew how well taken care they were at Kidworks I was concerned. It wasn't easy for them, they don't like the food at the new school and they feel that is a bigger place without the level of supervision Kidworks has. But then it hit me, I had lost something that I had with Kidworks: Peace of mind. Safety comes first, they know how many kids they have all time (asked them about head count),drop off and pick up are a breeze and extremely secure. Staff is great, diligent. The food is great, every kid eats, you know, they tell you, Mrs. Vivian cooks with love and my kids missed her so much! The Science curriculum is fantastic, they want our kids to succeed. I am a big fan and forever grateful. I hope they extend up to 5th grade or 8th :) the travel is totally worth it. Peace of mind is priceless. Update 11/11/2016 If you read my previous review you already know how much I love this school! An example of me praising their curriculum is the story I will narrate below. I was coming out of the supermarket with both my sons when a lady asked me if I would like to donate blood. I excused myself and explained I couldn't. My 7 years old saw the donation truck and asked me about it. I explained to him that people donate blood for other that might need it. He then said, if you donate your blood you will be giving away your DNA and mine. I was surprised and grateful. Kidworks opened such a wonderful world to them. Science, math, engineer but the most important thing is giving them the tools to think outside the box. Now they rebuild the playground and created a fantastic "Pirate Island Adventure". The students followed every step of the process, Mr. Bill, the owner and mind behind it walked them thru all the steps, they saw the blueprint, and how his dream became real, with planning and effort, giving his best, they were able to see the result. Everybody felt part of the project and got to celebrate together at the grand opening. Now our kids will be able to play on Saturday at the playground when they earn a golden doubloon. And they will earn it if they do their homework, eat their food. If they give their best. My son asked me for a Facebook account, I explained that he is not allowed since he is too young. I asked him why he wanted one, he said to let everybody know how awesome Kidworks is! Right now the school teaches up to 2nd grade, I wish they would open more grades in the future. -------------- I needed to check Kidworks zip code and I came across the reviews on Yelp. The one star Carlos G. gave, really surprised me and I felt the need to write about my point of view, experience with the school. Both my sons attend Kidworks. The teachers are teachers, not volunteers, and they teach and care for the little ones. And for me the combination of both is what makes a difference. Is it important for our kids to have all the information, knowledge and resources at hand? Yes, but for me it is also important that the teacher that imparts that also cares about them. Every teacher knows not only her class kids, but others, they tell us if something is wrong and allow us parents to ask questions as many times as we need. How many schools have a STEM lab for their 3 years old and up? How many 6 years old can Skype with NASA trainees that are on Atlantis training for a Mission? My 6 years old is above the Florida standard levels for reading, maybe my 3 wont be or maybe yes, they give them the tools but some things are up to the kids interests and some others are up to us as parents. Miss Nikki was a great teacher loved by the kids and I am pretty sure she won't agree with what you are implying at all, same as your statement about the Director that didn't last more than 3 weeks (the previous one was a Director for many, many years and she moved out of the city). In my review I am giving facts, I am very picky when it comes to where my kids are most of their day, and I really don't think your review is accurate. You might have your reasons but I felt the need to show my side. Kids are happy when you enter the school, you see them playing, working on class. They eat real food, the cooks are great, we parents always make the comment that we know that our kids eat properly, and how they love the food and how food is made with love. In my book that is important too. I go to work every morning knowing that my sons are in a place where they will be looked after, where they will have time to learn and play, because both activities are considered important. I rarely write reviews online but this must be said...if you are out there looking for a daycare, private school, aftercare or summer camp this is your place. Over 7 years ago I was new mom looking for a daycare for my then 1 1/2 year old boy. I visited many daycare all around the area and non left me satisfied. Once I visited Kidworks from the moment I open the door saw a nice smile, clean place, friendly and kind teachers and the fact that all the food is cooked there fresh for the kids was the cherry on top. My son received top education until the day that he left to public school. He graduated vpk in 2019 knowing how to write his name, last name, writing and recognizing numbers from 1-50 recognizing 50 sight words, reading beyond grade level, recognizing more than 50 action words and with a foundation of education that other teachers were able to recognize and now he is currently on gifted classes. He learned how to independently do his classroom and homework . All of it i owe to the level of education that he received at Kidworks and his has repeated itself 3 times. My youngest who is 4 is now receiving that same top education that his other 2 bothers (both taking gifted classes) received at Kidworks. A side from all this i have to make a point again on the food. Kids are (most of them) very picky eaters but I have witness with my own kids how absolutely delicious the food here is. The ladies cook for this kids just like grandma would do at home. The menu is well balanced and flavorful. My oldest to this day says that the lunch is the best he ever had and my youngest every morning looks at the menu to see what he is going to have for lunch; he absolutely loves it to the point that he would eat more than once. In 7 years I have nothing bad to say about Kidworks. It has been the best decision that I have made for my kids education and well being. If you took the time to read this raw and honest review go ahead call and schedule a tour and I will assure that no other place would EVER compare to this one. The exposure to a top education that they kids get here is beyond anything you can think of. I can't finish this lengthy review (sorry!) without speaking about how fantastic is Mrs. Nancy and the science program. What child at 3 years could tell you all the planets in order and go head over heels over the butterfly life cycle well all 3 of mine were enchanted by her class. My child is enrolled as a student at Kidworks USA and I have really seen her grow over the past year. As her parent I have a part to play in that development but so does the school she attends. My wife and I have been very pleased with how my daughter has been treated and the learning she has acquired over the last 18 months of enrollment. We live in Broward and gladly drive the extra miles to put her in a place we feel is secure, safe and loving. The S.T.E.M. Lab (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) has been recently added to the school and I have found it to be a great way for my daughter and her classmates to learn about these topics. Children as young as (3) are being exposed to very interesting topics in each of the S.T.E.M. disciplines. I have spoken with my daughter (5 year old) about these sessions and she is enthusiastic about what she has learned. She discusses with me the concepts she has learned. Yes, there is "Show and Tell" in these sessions but that's probably for the best. A "Concerned P." recently left a review of their experience of the center and its S.T.E.M. lab. I will not try to tear down their review, because in life and business all opinions are necessary for any person or business to grow. For me...no school is perfect, no teacher is perfect...no parent is perfect. Everyone has opportunities to grow for the better. Yet for me Kidworks USA makes my daughter happy and it teaches her concepts in its S.T.E.M. lab that make her excited to learn about complex topics.This morning when I dropped her off she asked her teacher if she could play science over blocks in her free play. THIS IS A WIN! Young girls often are scared away from math and sciences. To see her curious about these topics and excited to talk about them, would lead me to beleive that Kidworks USA is doing something great with its S.T.E.M. lab . Money hungry school. I usually don't write bad reviews but this school is very inhumane. My daughter was in the free vpk program and it was only four hours long. That wasn't a problem I was fine with that the problem came when they told me she wouldn't eat lunch. So they would place the full time students during lunch time in a separate table from the free vpk kids. I thought it was odd and didn't understand how they could just have kids hungry watching other kids eat in front of them. What really boiled my blood is that the school still took the free lunch form from every parent even the ones who weren't getting lunch. They could say all they want and lie but they pocket that lunch money from the free vpk kids and are ok with not feeding 4 year olds lunch while they feed the other children. Very heartless and they do not truly care about kids. They have better vpk programs that feed your kids lunch and are longer than 4 hours. My daughter was also not learning and was being taught material below vpk not worth it. read more

If I could give this organization 0 stars I would. My son attended kids work USA for about 5 months and was horribly treated by staff. I believe the intentions of the staff and organization as a whole does not truly care about the kids, as a school for young kids should. They claim to wish and provide the best learning experience for the kids but their actions say otherwise. Having my son at this school was a big mistake, I never saw progress in my son academically, after 5 months of attending. As soon as I decided to take out my kid from the school they said my son was academically behind, which was hard to understand, due to the fact that they informed right when he was about to move onto the next year. They never once informed me about this situation which was frustrating because the school should be able to tell parents when their kid is not performing well. KIDSWORK USA does NOT care about your kids. Their were also multiple occasions where I would pick up my son and he would be separated from the other students, lunch time was a very hard time for my son because he didn't "qualify" for the free food provided by the government. If the staff truly cared and had a passion for these young kids they would've at-least offered a juice to the poor kid who had to watch everyone eat except him. They care about the money that your kid is providing for them. Their is nothing good about this school. read more

My son has been going here for about five months now and overall I would say it's a good school. However the bullying situation is out-of-control. Several times I have come to the school and I see children fighting and picking on each other but the instructors are not paying attention. We've had such a negative experience, not so much the school which I would say is nice. When we renewed the tuition we did not receive a package that needed to be filled, we paid the registration, that was a few weeks ago, on Monday when my wife goes to pick up the kid she is told it needed to be filled and nothing else no warning, on Wed my son does not go to school, on Thursday when I am going to drop off the kid I m told I can't leave him until this is filled, mind you it takes at least 20 min, front desk tells me to fill it and bring it later, about 30 min latter I get a call to pick up the kid, we couldn't do it at the time, so when I go to get him, they handle me his stuff throwing him out like a garbage bag, the principal then talks to me and we decided to leave him, next day when I go to drop him off I see that the picture from his tray and name had been remove. Now what kind of heartless cold human couldn't even wait a day to see if things could be resolved to do this. In my opinion they don't care about the kids (some do and are nice) but management does not care is a cold environment where your child is just a number, My kid is 3 years old it really hurt me to see him be disposed like he was a garbage bag. Now he was never threaded poorly or bad or hurt in any way, but at the end it shows little care for the kid or the parent who has him there because they have things to do. Where we had my other son the teacher literary cried the day he left, we put the other one here because the other one was too out of the way, my mistake. I will drive more but put my child where they really care. Bill we were not given any enrolling package in August, they might be telling you this which is not true, they gave it my wife Tuesday (i previously thought it was Monday) No dead line was given, in other words you need to fill this up or David can't come. On Thursday is when I was told this by Estephania, front desk told me to leave the kid and to bring the paperwork latter or tomorrow but Estafania called like if it was an emergency to pick him up, we were given 3 days to do this and no warning, this is not the way to threat a paying customer, what hurt me the most was how they removed all his stuff without letting us talk, even his picture, they wanted to make a statement on their own power trip. My 3 year old son has been attending kidworks for a few months now and he loves it. He loves his teachers and looks forward to going to school every day. The staff is really friendly. The kids get fed yummy breakfast, lunch and snacks that are healthy and freshly made in the school cafeteria daily. My son will be willing to try new foods there that he would never try with me. My daughter has attended Kidworks since 2012. She has started from VPK and is now enrolled in 2nd grade there. There is only one word I can use to describe this school...amazing! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Their curriculum is great and has made learning fun. They keep parents informed of their children's progress and inform us of activities and events they constantly have. As I single mom, I can truly say that their Before and After Care has been nothing but spectacular. I have never come across another school/facility that is as accommodating to my schedule and my daughter's need as this one. If it wasn't for their After Care Program that is open and available on Teacher Planning days and some holidays, I would have to search for a sitter or take off from work. This program allows me to continue to work knowing my daughter is in responsible and safe hands. During these days, they plan special events so the kids are having fun and staying busy. Their staffs' like family and genuinely care for the kids' well-being. They have field trips and events that both the kids and parents can enjoy. And their Summer Camp is wonderful! This past summer was by far the best, hands down. I was able to chaperone and accompany my daughter to the Kennedy space Center in Cape Canaveral and to Lego Land. Truly great experiences made possible by this school and their very involved and loving owner. Mr. Bill treats all his parents like family and is truly involved in the kids' education. He's always coming up with new and exciting ideas to keep kids motivated and eager to learn more. This year they have begun a S.T.E.M. lab that the kids enjoy and all like participating in. My daughter loves it, and if I show up early, I usually have to wait until it's over before she's willing to leave. We love Kidworks! As a mother choosing a childcare facility is one of the biggest decisions you can make for your young child. It is the place where they will learn, grow and be cared for by someone other than yourself. I went to visit many schools in the area and none compare to Kidworks in my opinion. My child has been attending kidworks since he was 10 months old he is now 3 years old. The food is home made daily and it is delicious, I have personally tried it on many occasions. The staff is very helpful, loving and caring of my child. I don't worry about him while he's there, I know he is in the best school in miami dade county. My 3 year old son is learning STEM, he is exploring and learning so many new things in new creative ways. This school is not just a "daycare" it's a learning facility challenging my child to explore science, technology, engineering and math in ways that he can understand. My son attended Kidworks from pre-school until the completion of the 3rd grade. He has attended many summer camp programs at Kidworks and continues to attend their aftercare program. Beware of this school! It's a cheap school for a reason. The caregivers are not teachers in this place. As a matter of fact they are all volunteers or they are all minimum wage employees. There is probably a good reason why their Administrator walked out on the school just days before the start of this school year 2015. I understand the need to turn a profit but this school is not for the parent who require the best care for their children. My kids use to go here and in more than one occasion I found the kids ranting and out of control in their classrooms. The boys were all over Ms. Niki trying to give her a pop kiss on the lips. She, coincidently left the school from one day to the next without notice. In my opinion, if you are looking for quality care for your kids, consider a more reputable location. I know the owners have plenty of money and probably bought instead of earned their Gold star standards from the Childrens' Trust. Funny how they rate themselves 5 stars. If you want your kids to be great kids, take them to a more serious facility where you can have professional care not kid care. read more
