We tried to be super patient and understanding until I watched this child myself hold down another child where he couldn't get up without teacher intervention. After making a last complaint and saying that we would remove our child from their care if they did not remove that child (20+ bites on different kids at this point 3-4 times for my daughter) they printed out papers showing us that this was developmental and OK to them. They would take extra precaution with the child and always have a teacher with get. We immediately removed her from that daycare. (Pic in comments) They have cameras but it turned out it was false security because it doesn't save and they don't care if your child is being hurt from another child if they consider it to be developmental. We were interested in lux but it had a wait list and even though they had cameras they don't share it with parents. Children's learning adventure in pearland was nice. I really liked all of the different rooms and things they have for the kids. It does feel like they kind of hire anyone. There were times when I walked in and the kids were climbing all over tables or hiding behind a bookshelf watching Mickey Mouse on phone. The drive also was not pleasant in the morning. We're currently enrolled at teddys ladder. She's learned a lot there but I don't agree with everything they do. I'm frustrated with the size of the classes (35/36) but didn't want to pull her out of the class this year because she's made good friends over the years. If I could back in time, I wish I would have found a school that advocated for age appropriate play, teaches age appropriate content including emotional regulation and really believes in it, and cares more about how the children feel vs how they're perceived.

I had reservations about writing a review for Lux, but I feel compelled to share my granddaughter's experience due to an injury caused by a staff member. And yes, there are a couple of exceptional teachers. On January 23rd, after arriving home, my two-year-old granddaughter complained of arm pain, stating that Mr. Lawrence had pulled her. Since it was after hours, her mother notified the administration via message. The next day, her arm was swollen and bruised, with a diagnosis of torn capillaries and bruising from the urgent care clinic. The school's account of the incident differed from the footage, which showed Mr. Lawrence dragging my granddaughter by the arm. The administration's handling was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking suitable solutions. I believe parents should have access to camera footage for safety reasons. Another incident was reported involving a different staff member roughly handling a child. The school's priorities seem misplaced, and parents should exercise vigilance.

The Facility is clean, safe, and within our neighborhood which is a huge plus for us. They also offer a discount to us since my wife is a Nurse. The Directors, Sarah and Margaret, are very competent, super friendly, and responsive. We are on a first name basis since the first 2 weeks. They visit each classroom every day, and my daughter adores them, as they do her. Her teachers are all friendly and capable and well liked by all the kids as I can tell. Their program has her learning a ton, with hands on lessons in the garden, live demonstrations, and much more. My daughter's previous daycare was not much in the way of education, so seeing her come home and telling me what she learned that day is satisfying. The higher tuition compared to previous schools is very worth it in my opinion, given the quality care she receives, the convenience, and friendliness of all the staff. I'm so glad Future Explorers is in our area and will surely enroll our next child when they are of age in their daycare program.

This center has some of the best teachers, they make your kids feel so welcomed. Another thing i love about this center is how active they are in their community; they are always keeping parents informed on monthly menus, newsletters, and calendars. They plan alot of group events and dress up days, that make things so much more fun for the kids. I could go on and on but seriously i love this center.
