We got on a wait-list (highly nerve-wrecking) and made it in just under the wire. They have a few different options regarding attendance, 5 days a week, Mon/Weds/Fri or Tues/Thurs. class is from 9:30am- 1:30pm. This is a pre-k run out of a Methodist church so God and Jesus are very much a part of the curriculum. My husband and I aren't very religious but have no problem with this aspect. I took 1 star off because I truly wish they incorporated some dual language into the curriculum. I've noticed more early education programs offering this (mainly downtown) but it would be the cherry-on-top to also have this at HH. The teachers honestly care, the parents are involved and it's a fabulously loving environment for kiddos.

Please do not send yours kids here. Refer to the DFPS website for the report of abuse and another that is currently being investigated. This is clearly not a one teacher issue, but a culture of abuse in the center. Children (2 and 3 years old) are physically restrained with their arms behind their back, drug by their ankles, and flipped around when they do not comply for nap time. Stand at the front desk for more than a few minutes and you'll hear teachers screaming at the kids. I'm horrified to think of what my son went through prior to me witnessing his abuse on camera and me pulling him out. This all needs to be public knowledge so you won't be fooled by the positive reviews like I was. All of these kids deserve better. read more

We registered my daughter 8 months in advance of her enrollment date and I spoke with the staff several times throughout that period to discuss paperwork, confirming each time that we were still on for our scheduled enrollment date. Then out of no where they call us to say that they overbooked and we were being dropped. They couldn't guarantee us any enrollment date but just offered to let us wait another 12 months. I feel like this is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. We were essentially wait listed but led to believe we had a guaranteed spot. So we had no Plan B and were forced to look for another daycare last minute and had to accept the first one that had availability with such short notice.

On her 2 week of going there to the day care I understand my kid didn't wanted to share chairs but this kid has no reason to bite my baby. I picked my baby up and had a bite mark and they never called to make an incident report. They stated that my baby didn't cry which I believe it was a LIE as well because my baby had that bite mark for 4 days in a row there no way my kid was just standing there looking stupid with out saying anything and letting a kid bite her that hard. After I talked to the owner he said something to them but yet the next day THEY were trying sit her away from ALL THE LITTLE KIDS and I kept looking at the live Camara and called it in they said supposedly she was hitting kids which she doesn't do that, she pats them that's her way of letting kids know she's talking to them because she doesn't know their name or can't even say it. They lady said "so you want me to call every 15 min" I had told her my schedule was flexible and if there was ANY ISSUES TO CALL ME and they never did I kept looking at the camaras and my baby was just standing up and sitting repeating but not hitting any kids. Not just that but I can keep going on about her dippers/wipes and her food as well. After I called in to drop her out of her class because she's never coming back they kept trying to charge me 265 every week which kept adding up to estimating 1,180 which I didn't pay because she didn't kept going, I should of really filed a police report for all of this but I was being too nice and gave too many chances..... like I mention DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE

The staff is warm and courteous and very proactive in taking care of any concerns you have. For the most part the teachers are great, but that is hit or miss from class to class in any daycare. If there ever was any concern though it was handled. It is also a fun looking daycare. So many are so sterile looking - like a nursing home with toys. But this one is a fun place for the kids that leaves the parents feeling good about leaving ur kid there. I wish we lived close enough to go back.
