It is hard to find a place to trust the most important thing in your life, after a year of enrollment of 3 kids this place is amazing. They provide a safe and educational environment that has our kids giving the staff hugs as we leave and we get updates about how our kids did throughout the day and how they ate, anything that may need to be worked on at home etc. Long story short, our kids love this place and the staff and we do too. read more

Honestly love this place , my son has been going here since he turned 1 and I couldn't be more happier. They have helped me with every concern that I had , walked me through every detail I needed to know. They keep me updated on anything that has to do with my son, i get to see every progress he makes.Over all my son loves it here, from what he can tell me (him being a toddler) he loves to play with his friends but they also have cameras where you can see how interactive the teachers are there with the kids..socializing, teaching , etc. I am really glad I choose here for my son to attend and certainly my next one on the way will be attending as well, i even have my step son currently attending as well and his experience too is amazing. I love kid city. I've moved allot and have tried several daycares all over Texas. This is the best one I've used. Things I value: Competent, friendly staff. Extremely nice people. always tell me to have a great day! :) and know me and my son even with so many kids. My son is also well taken care of. When in diapers, he was changed often. He comes home clean. Not with questionable dirt on face or hands. Curriculum- The teachers are structured and I've never doubted their abilities. This is more than a daycare. My son has learned so much at age of 3. Things I never would expect him to know. Super clean facilities. I never seen a mess anywhere. The class rooms are wiped down often through the day. See people cleaning all the time. Amenities- large, clean, modern play area with water splash pad!! Great for Texas summers. Hours-open early and are actually staffed in morning. Finding a daycare that opens before 7 is surprisingly a challenge and other places I've been the teacher was late or not ready for kids when they are supposed to be. Cameras. I thought I'd use this more often honestly. I really don't. But it is available for peace of mind if I want to peak in or I just miss my sons face. Parents night out!! This has come in handy for date night! Way cheaper than a babysitter. Most importantly, my son enjoys going here. He wants to go see "friends ". read more

Both of my kids have attended Kid City since they were 8 weeks old. The staff are caring and vested in teaching our children, and you can tell my kids love and trust their teachers. I love that I chose Kid City Friendswood for my sons daycare needs for the past 2.5 years. He really has learned a lot and enjoys his time attending Kid City. Some of the big pros for me: cameras in classroom, app to show daily activity such as meals, naps, potty breaks, etc., they provide all meals, and a nice covered outdoor play ground. They are also very honest about even the slightest injuries/hiccups that occur which enables me to trust them completely. read more

My 18 month old has been attending Kid City Pearland for 6 months now and we absolutely love it! They have a great child to teacher ratio and are super attentive to all their children. His teachers are so great with him and have taught him so much. He has more words in his vocabulary than most children his age. The schedule that they have put in place as far as feedings, changes, and naps, work great for us at home as well. They have cameras in all their classrooms and it is a live feed, I can watch from my phone or computer at work to check up on my baby which is awesome and helped put me at ease when he first started attending. They provide a monthly menu of each meal your child will have daily and if anything on the menu changes, they make you aware. The classrooms are always super clean and pretty tidy. What I love most is that my son loves his teachers, he blows them kisses to say goodbye when we pick them up. The relationship he has with them is very important to me, your child will let you know if he/she is not comfortable somewhere or with someone but my baby boy loves his teachers and we love Kid City Pearland. **Office staff is great as well, they keep you informed about anything that may be going on with your child.** read more

I love Kid City. My daughter was going to a different day care and was bored. It seemed like they would color all the time and not get in any structured learning. She started in the Monkey room, and did very well. It took her some time to realize they had a better structure....you played at this area for a little bit, then had circle time...My daughter is now in the turtle room and loves it. Her teachers are great!!! My daughter will be 5 in December (Which means she won't start kindergarten until next year...) and is all ready reading. They have fun things for the kids to do for spring break and during the summer. Love the staff! read more

Only daycare I've found that offers the option of watching your kids constantly online. Some of the staff is great, some of the staff isn't.

Kid City Friendswood is awesome. My child there is learning too many things and i'm so proud of Joni. Ms. Ambria is awesome. She listen, she advise, she try, she is doing everything for my son to be happy and smart. And Stephanie- she's so nice. I love her. When you're around her you can't do else but laughing with her and talking. Being there is the best experience ever. read more

My toddler and school age child been to kid city in pearland since May last year.. 8 months now.. it's awesome! I've check other day care's before I picked. Kids loved it there! Safe, educational, very clean, organized, family friendly environment, staff are all caring, compassionate, approachable, friendly and nice . I can see my kids thru the camera on my phone while I'm @ work. I'm glad , I picked a good one! Your kids are in good hands. Thank you Kid City. Do not let your kids go here! this place is so chaotic and unstructured its not even funny! My son went here for a month maybe a little longer. The first day I dropped my son off was 2 weeks before I started my new job so I was trying to get him adjusted before I started leaving him there all day. He cried on and off all day (which I get it takes some time to adjust) This place has cameras so Since i wasn't working I spent a lot of time watching him on the camera The teachers never tried to comfort him.. they were too busy chasing all the other kids and it was a mess. You have kids playing in the sink.. kids throwing toys kids playing in the bathroom.. there was no structure! This was a daily thing.. EVERYTIME I picked up my son it was stressful and chaotic I would cry too if I had to deal with all of that! My big issue with this place is the very first day I dropped my son off there was teacher subbing from a older kid class room bc my sons teacher was running late and I opened the door all the kids were sitting on a rug in a circle bc she was about to read a book and the book was sitting on the chair. she was in the bathroom trying to get another kid out of it. So one little boy picked up the book off the chair and was just looking at the cover of it not being destructive or tearing it or anything and when she returned to the rug she says to the little boy (2 year old class) "hey, that's MY book don't touch it! Then proceeded to snatch the book from the little boys hand threw it down on her chair grabbed the little boy by his hand and yelled "you don't touch my stuff your're going to time out and at that point she saw me (before any of this she didn't see me standing in the door way) I was standing by timeout apparently. So she made him sit in time out. This infuriated me and it wasn't even my kid!!! I almost just turned around and said forget it but I didn't. So when she sees me she goes " Can I help you?" so I said "I'm dropping off my son" and she goes "who is he? Is he new? So I said "yes today is his first day" and she replied " like first day at any daycare" and I said yes. Then she looked at him bc he was clinging to me and goes "*sigh*make him sit right at the table does the front know about him?" UMMM DUH THEY LET ME IN!! So anyways a week went by and this situation still infuriated me but I thought he wasn't my sons teacher and then I later found out he would be moving to her class in the next 3 months. So I talked to the director about this incident and her answer was this.. " well the good news is she isn't his teacher" So I said " no, but she will be in 3 months" She said " Yeah, I know. We have had a few parents complain about her. All I ask is that you give her some time thats just the kind of person she is." So I said so you want me to basically get over the fact that this lady is that cranky and extreme that she puts a kid in time out and then give me attitude about my son and is disrespectful to me. She made me feel like my son wasn't wanted and it made me feel uncomfortable. So my question is.. If you have had numerous parents complain about this one teacher 1st of all why aren't you doing anything about it and 2nd why does she still have a job there?? Don't you care how your teachers are treating the kids there and the PARENTS?!?! I didn't pay you $180 bucks to be treated like that! I took my kid out of there as fast as I could! WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! read more
