It shouldn't be rare (but is) to find a practitioner that knows how to get information about an ailment out of a client. Well Dominic is absolutely first rate at this. He is also very knowledgeable and keeps things honest. He will tell you if you just need time to heal, rather than booking you in for four more sessions. So if your bones ache and your joints are sore, I highly recommend giving First Place Osteopathy a call. They will fix you real good.

Erring on the pricey side at roughly $90 for an initial session and $60 thereafter, First Place Osteopathy offers osteopathy, remedial massage and, erm, 'bike fits' from a blink and you'll miss it little site in Melbourne's Northcote. My session with Dom not only fixed a rather bad neck injury faster than you can say, "it was the dancing what put my neck out. Honest" but also came complete with a gratis history of Australian folk heroism and some great advice about finding a holistic GP in Melbourne. A hugely impressive osteopathy clinic and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Brand new premises, a big comfortable waiting room and friendly reception staff. There is also a pathology collection centre on site. I have been lucky so far with waiting times (touchwood) - maybe because I get early afternoon appointments at the start of my GPs shift - but you always expect to wait a little at the doctor unfortunately. No bulk billing (except for exceptional circumstances), but they do the Medicare claim on the spot for you, so you get the refund straight away - which is exactly how it should be everywhere now!

I will continue to go here due to convenience & the quality of the doctors but expect a wait & it is slightly pricey but you get what you pay for.

The staff there are exceptional. The level of care and detail to my well being has been greatly appreciated given that I was at times a reluctant patient because I'd never had to deal with trauma before. I go there now for maintenance because I'm older and while a massage is great from a massage therapist, a good osteo just keeps the body mechanics working correctly. I was introduced to this place by winning a silent auction and there were a few vouchers in there. 1 X massage, 1 X naturopath consult and a bag of their re-calm tea (which is delicious). They host lots of seminars for clients and the local community and all staff seem very friendly. I organised a massage for a friend to de-stress and while waiting at reception on a Saturday morning clients trickled in consistently and were always met with a smile. Plenty of parking here and great feedback about the massage so I have booked my naturapathy appointment in and will update once completed.

The building is clean light and bright; and the cost to attend very low if any. Our family all attend this superclinic. Some years ago my husband urgently needed stitches on his head on a Sunday night, Doctor Vincent stitched his head injury up beautifully on the spot with no drama, and the nurse was great too. Ever since we have been grateful to Dr Vincent Frank. I took him there because once at a hopspital when my son needed stitches; we waited so long the injury could not be stitched, as his skin shrank away because he had to wait in emergency so long. We haven't had a single bad experience there ever, we have found all staff very respectful. Our son still drives from Doncaster to attend Brice Ave Superclinic.

Apparently the poor little thing had been there since 1pm (whimper, whimper) and wasn't going to allow himself to be overworked. Where is the duty of care?? He doesn't deserve a job!

From making the appointment on the phone all the way through to paying for the appointment was a great experience. Friendly service from all staff, no wait time, I went right in. Dr Kaur was thorough getting to know my family history. She did the check up and it was all very professional and painless. If you're looking for a good female doctor, you'll probably find her here. I paid $86 for the appointment and was told that I'd get $30 something back from Medicare. Worth it!

My first and all subsequent appointments were with Dr Kirshner and she is fantastic. Dr Kirshner took the time to get to know me, understand lifestyle and medical history in a way no doctor had before. She gave me a general check up that was very comprehensive as well as addressing my specific concerns, and explained the reason behind the various tests she was doing. The Epworth Freemasons is expensive for a GP service, but for me it was worth the peace of mind. There is also a Men's Clinic in the same complex.

This was some (25%) Thai (flexing and stretching) and mostly (75%) Deep Therapy (muscle massage). It was great. The masseuse first asked me to confirm which massage I'd booked, then how much pressure I'd prefer - not sure, I asked for "medium" - and then she started. She worked hard - the massage was good but pretty firm, with even and deep pressure, the work on muscles was balanced and the "bed" was comfortable. My masseuse was respectful at all times. The room was spacious and quiet with relaxing music (there was the occasional outside environmental noise) and the whole thing went well. The receptionist was great, he gave me useful information beforehand and checked on my welfare when it was finished, which was courteous. I'd go here again.
