Terrible. No accurate descriptions for online only auctions. Broken items are sold. They demand you sign for items before picking them up.

I was a good customer until - Sunday Aug 25Th 2019. I went to the tail end of a Kimble Brown Tag…read moresales that I often attend in my neighborhood of Avondale in Canton Ohio. It was around 2PM on the last day of the sale that was ending at 4PM. I went to the basement and there was a sign in the basement that stated anything unmarked was $1.00, I [picked up a power cord to a laptop in a bin full of unmarked items. When I checked with a sales agent and showed him the power cord to a laptop he stated it would be 50% off and would cost 50 CENTS since the sale was ending in 2 hours. I took it to the checkout table and told the the person collecting the money that it was an UNMARKED ITEM from the basement - He then asked me for $10.00 I said that the sign in the basement stated $1 and that an associate had quoted me $1 and I asked him to honor that price. HE BECAME BELLIGERENT raising his voice hollering that he didn't have to sell it to me for a $1.00 as I was told. I then raised my voice to make sure everyone heard that he was charging me 10 TIME MORE then I was told. I am calling this Bait and Switch - Kimable Brown NEEDS TO TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE TO HONOR THEIR PRICING AS POSTED. The checkout person tried to charge me over 10 TIMES THE PRICE I WAS GIVEN AND THE PRICE THAT WAS POSTED. I was a good customer and I will NEVER step foot into another Kimble Brown TAG SALES.

Only a few items were priced and waited in line for 40 minutes to be given prices that were ridiculously overpriced. The comments being "how long would you wait at Walmart". Witnessed the estate sale company being very rude, loud and insulting. They are not professional at all. Hiring them to run a sale for you from what I saw would not be in your favor. Many customers walked out the door saying how rude these ladies were.

We recently contracted Cleveland Estate Liquidators to help clear my mother's home after her move…read moreto an independent living facility. I was thoroughly disappointed with Jessica, the owner. I found her to be deceitful, dishonest and thoroughly disagreeable. Her approach appears to follow three basic steps: (a) assert that there is nothing in the house that will sell for much, (b) sell items for far more than she claims to have sold them for, and (c) provide a fictitious, understated accounting of what was sold. She grudgingly provided the accounting only after I pressed her for it, and even then it was incomplete and misleading. On the day following conclusion of the sale (which Jessica ended early so she could tend to her dog), my family and I began to donate the remaining items to local charities: Savers, the Cleveland Furniture Bank and a group of Syrian refuge families we had met day after the estate sale. When I asked questions about the amounts for which various items items had been sold, Jessica's response via text was "you're giving things away and you question the prices of items I sold?" Donating items to a worthy cause once the sale has contractually ended is my prerogative. Getting an honest and accurate accounting of all items Cleveland Estate Liquidators sold is my right. Further, Jessica removed small oriental rugs after the sale claiming that she had a client who might be interested in purchasing them. Days later, I realized that she had neither returned them nor confirmed their sale. When I inquired, she said she could possibly sell them for $20. It defies business logic that Jessica would go to the trouble of taking the rugs and selling them to a client in order to net roughly $7. More importantly, I have written confirmation that two large oriental rugs were sold for three times the amount she provided, and that a set of deck furniture sold for five times the price Jessica acknowledged. Based on my experience, this woman preys on families who are in the midst of major life upheavals. A death or change in the living situation of a loved one is often the reason for an estate sale or liquidation. It would be an extreme understatement to say that being dealt with in this manner, during a truly daunting family moment, is very hard to accept. My experience with Jessica entangled me with a person who, in my opinion, is simply mean-spirited, combative and untrustworthy. As my family and I consider our legal options, it is my hope that this review saves others from such an unsatisfactory experience

But while we've known each other…read morefor decades, that only matters because its the reason I went to Mike for an engagement ring in the first place. However, it does not, for a moment, affect this review. Sometime a while back, I knew I was going to propose to my lovely fiance (spoilers! she said yes), and started shopping for a ring. Researched the important factors and started looking around, and while i found a lot of nice rings, nothing that really called to me. It was a frustrating process, culminating in buying what I thought would be the perfect ring online, only to return it. That was probably the lowest moment, and so I took a break in my ring shopping. Fast forward some months later, and I saw someone else from my hometown post photos on social media of a beautiful designer engagement ring from Mike Press, and so I reached out to Mike. I had no idea what I wanted, even after all that shopping, and couldn't have been more nervous. I didn't want to design a custom ring, because I have the imagination of a piece of wood, so I relied on Mike to ask the right questions and pick out a number of options. He was patient, detailed in his explanations of various rings and options, and came up with a number of beautiful suggestions. Nevertheless, I still could not make a decision. I was scared of completely screwing this up. I asked a million questions, then disappeared for weeks while I thought about it, only to come back and ask more questions. Mike never brushed me off or decided I wasn't going to be a sale - he just kept helping me along. In the end, not only did Mike find a beautiful diamond but he held it for me in spite of having other interested parties. Sent me photos, videos, descriptions, etc until I was finally able to pull the trigger. With the perfect diamond, he then suggested what ended up being the perfect setting to go with it. I was so trilled with what he put together that I wasn't even worried about whether or not Melissa would like it. Again, it was perfect. I wish I could find more good things to say. This was an incredibly stressful and nerve wracking process but Mike made it easy in the end. I was glad to give the business to someone I've known my whole life, but even still, was not expecting the kindness, patience, and helpfulness to the degree Mike provided. He bent over backwards to make this easy.
