Terrible. No accurate descriptions for online only auctions. Broken items are sold. They demand you sign for items before picking them up.

It was around 2PM on the last day of the sale that was ending at 4PM. I went to the basement and there was a sign in the basement that stated anything unmarked was $1.00, I [picked up a power cord to a laptop in a bin full of unmarked items. When I checked with a sales agent and showed him the power cord to a laptop he stated it would be 50% off and would cost 50 CENTS since the sale was ending in 2 hours. I took it to the checkout table and told the the person collecting the money that it was an UNMARKED ITEM from the basement - He then asked me for $10.00 I said that the sign in the basement stated $1 and that an associate had quoted me $1 and I asked him to honor that price. HE BECAME BELLIGERENT raising his voice hollering that he didn't have to sell it to me for a $1.00 as I was told. I then raised my voice to make sure everyone heard that he was charging me 10 TIME MORE then I was told. I am calling this Bait and Switch - Kimable Brown NEEDS TO TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE TO HONOR THEIR PRICING AS POSTED. The checkout person tried to charge me over 10 TIMES THE PRICE I WAS GIVEN AND THE PRICE THAT WAS POSTED. I was a good customer and I will NEVER step foot into another Kimble Brown TAG SALES.

Then she priced up my other items off the top of her head (nothing was priced) and gave me my total price. As I was getting my cash out she goes "just for fun I am going to take a picture of the shelves to see how much they are worth." She sees they are valuable online and says she no longer can give them to me for the price we had agreed on. I asked for her name and the name of the company she worked for and she said "why, so you can leave a bad review?" Then she started taking pictures of me on her phone. She said "I will post your picture if you leave a review." I took my phone out to take a picture of her then in return and she HIT MY HAND AND WRIST HARD. I left as fast as I could and my elderly mother who was with me left behind me and they slammed the door on her heel. I reported her to the police. She also referred to her client, the person's home it was, as a hoarder and I could overhear her associates talking about someone who was having medical issues such as "anal bleeding." Which I didn't think was appropriate to talk about for customers to hear. I have never witnessed such unprofessionalism and wish I could leave 0 stars. She also gave out a fake name and I see a few bad reviews with names that she then comments and says "we don't have anyone with that name." Also, I see her unprofessionalism continues with her responses to her reviews. She tries to intimidate and insult people rather than comment something professional. STEER CLEAR clients and customers alike!!

Many customers walked out the door saying how rude these ladies were.

He Talked over me every time I tried to talk, not letting me complete one sentence. Full disclosure - I grew up around the corner from Michael Press. But while we've known each other…read morefor decades, that only matters because its the reason I went to Mike for an engagement ring in the first place. However, it does not, for a moment, affect this review. Sometime a while back, I knew I was going to propose to my lovely fiance (spoilers! she said yes), and started shopping for a ring. Researched the important factors and started looking around, and while i found a lot of nice rings, nothing that really called to me. It was a frustrating process, culminating in buying what I thought would be the perfect ring online, only to return it. That was probably the lowest moment, and so I took a break in my ring shopping. Fast forward some months later, and I saw someone else from my hometown post photos on social media of a beautiful designer engagement ring from Mike Press, and so I reached out to Mike. I had no idea what I wanted, even after all that shopping, and couldn't have been more nervous. I didn't want to design a custom ring, because I have the imagination of a piece of wood, so I relied on Mike to ask the right questions and pick out a number of options. He was patient, detailed in his explanations of various rings and options, and came up with a number of beautiful suggestions. Nevertheless, I still could not make a decision. I was scared of completely screwing this up. I asked a million questions, then disappeared for weeks while I thought about it, only to come back and ask more questions. Mike never brushed me off or decided I wasn't going to be a sale - he just kept helping me along. In the end, not only did Mike find a beautiful diamond but he held it for me in spite of having other interested parties. Sent me photos, videos, descriptions, etc until I was finally able to pull the trigger. With the perfect diamond, he then suggested what ended up being the perfect setting to go with it. I was so trilled with what he put together that I wasn't even worried about whether or not Melissa would like it. Again, it was perfect. I wish I could find more good things to say. This was an incredibly stressful and nerve wracking process but Mike made it easy in the end. I was glad to give the business to someone I've known my whole life, but even still, was not expecting the kindness, patience, and helpfulness to the degree Mike provided. He bent over backwards to make this easy.

I almost hesitate to write this review for fear I will spoil this special place . If you drive 2…read morehours north to Amish Country where Mt. Hope Auction is located, you will have seemingly arrived on another planet, in another time. If you want to avoid the typical tourist traps and experience something like from the movie "Witness", this is a trip you must make. The auction is HELD ONLY ON WEDNESDAY. That probably is a good thing, to avoid being overrun by, what is known to the Amish, as the English (that would be me). This is the place where Amish families come to buy, sell and trade their goods. I have been a few times now and find it utterly fascinating (I think they find me fascinating too) to hear the language, see the dress, horses and buggies.....just the tradition of the auction. Livestock, flowers, vegetables, clothing, kitchenware, tools, weapons, etc.etc. are available for purchase. Lots of things are literally auctioned off, but also you can just buy whatever. You can negotiate anything. The best time to buy food from the local gardens is in late summer or fall, otherwise most of it comes from the grocer. Still, it is cheaper and way much better than you would find at Giant Eagle and Krogers. Bringing a cooler sometimes is a good idea. BTW, it can be really dusty, so don't dress up. Along the way, you can stop in Charm, Ohio and visit both Miller's bakery and Hershburger's Farm. Both good places to buy bake goods. Hershburgers has more options of tasty bites such as popcorn, jams, noodles, honey, syrup, relishes, sausage, cheese, eggs, chocolates and whatever else I can't think of at the moment. There is an animal petting area for the kiddies which includes Big Ben, the biggest darn horse this city girl has ever seen. For real, BIG. Along the winding way, other sites include the longest covered bridge and Killbuck Marsh, wetlands. Oh and if you can't resist, there is always the traditional tourist trap in Berlin. I feel like I must say this......please be respectful of the Amish. They do not like to have their picture taken. Maybe a buggy shot would work instead.
