I'm not surprised as sadly, Barcelona as a whole, while beautiful in many ways, lacks the concept of "service", and this retailer is in line with many others in town. The pay must be very low with little incentive to increase it. I gave it 2 stars because the clothing is still wonderful and very stylish and excellent quality. I would recommend however, taking the less than 2 hour flight to Italy and enjoy being treated like a valued client!! Plus the foods not bad there either! :)

I contacted the store but they are not interested as I don't have receipt & I paid cash! I gave them photos, time & date, plus the details of items purchased. The actual tester pot also had a Sephora sticker on the bottom with had written dates on it. Avoid this company, absolutely dreadful way to treat a customer

I came for two reasons: 1. I really wanted to buy a good leather bag from Spain for work. 2. Spain is the place for leather So I did my research and really liked their Slang Collection which I viewed on their website. I was greeted upon entering and proceeded to the back of the store to view it. There are several lovely pieces for men and women. I tried numerous leather crossbody, found too heavy. The Slang really laid right on my frame. The colors for fall are beautiful: deep burgundy, stone, khaki and black. I purchased the crossbody I saw online plus a nice wallet. Total cost @75 euros. They do sell luggage, scarves and other accessories. I was also given a VAT form to get tax refund on my way back to NY. Nice customer service: was told how to clean my bag( baby wipes, go figure!)

We were going to look at jewelry but she was so rude after "helping" us with the shoes that I lost my patients n we left. Even though we had been waiting in line outside for such a long time. How awesome to finally step into a shop of Desigual- since I dont believe we have it in the US/LA - and see gorgeous bodycon dresses and reversible jackets. The price points are of course a little more (like €50-€150) but they are on sale now. The dresses I wanted were €30 and the reversible patterned bomber jacket was €60+. I am sadly a medium in euro sizes lol but i tried on the small (which is really a US-XS) and was discouraged, so I ended up with a bag LOL. Next-door is the shop Mango - normally I love the store to bits: i love the sophistication of their lines & the fit is so much better than H&M. but after going to Desigual, their clothes look so drab. That is the Desigual effect. If you're ever in Europe, it's a must-visit. Their sales people are very sweet in this branch too! Silvia is adorable, and she brought my clothes to the dressing room, so I didnt have to carry it myself. Also, she pronounced my name right. Love! FYI, we came here by bus, its easy to get around by Metro, bus or taxi. You can use google maps to get to the heart of La Rambla (their famous shopping district by the bay).

This time we browsed each of the 6+ floors they have and realized they stock a huge selection of fashion, shoes, home items and food goods. I was very impressed at the quality of their goods and the friendly service of all associates in each department. The highlight was visiting their cafe restaurant on the top floor. They had everything from paella, pizza & pasta, Asian, baked goods to desserts. The dining area with its expansive views was worth the visit alone.
