No, but it's only £8! What about a cool black and white print of John Lennon? No, but it's only £8! Not everything was £8, but it was all cheap. Incense - 99p per pack. Cushions (nice ones!) £3 - £7, depending on size. Furniture included kitchen table and chair sets, night stands, foot stools, comfy chairs and couches, and I don't think anything was over 500. Near the back were tonnes of rugs in various sizes and for various rooms. Smaller items like dishware (a full set for £8! ... Maybe they did a study and 8 is the price that sounds like a really good deal to most people), jewellery boxes and clocks were also cheap. The key is that nothing really looks like it's from a bargain bin - or, won't once you take it out of the shop. I say, check it out.

There are plenty of samples to rub your fingers through, which makes decision making that bit easier. Their range is pretty impressive and the store laid out in a way that means you won't miss any marvellous mats, or regal rugs. Practicality rules the roost at Rug World and you should respect that. The only problem I could find with Rug World is the fact that, well, I simply prefer wood (cue canned-laughter!)

When I originally saw this store I thought it was a bit on the small side until I realised it was on 3 floors which significantly increases the space and therefore choices. The guys seem really friendly and are well trained so all your questions will be answered as buying carpets for the first time can be a little bit strange. You know your starting to get old when you have to start worrying about things like this and how annoying is paying for carpet when I could think of a million better ways of spending the money.... Anyway end of rant, this place is cool and a good local shop.
