They open their…read morewonderful and comfortable home with generosity of spirit, a solid Irish welcome, and a proper cup of morning tea (Barry's tea!). They were a complete delight and certainly gifted with gab. The location is near-to-perfect. Just steps from the driveway, you can hop on the bus to take you into Cork, if that's your pleasure. Or a 5 minute walk will take you into town, where there's a pub with delicious food and camaraderie. You also can shop at the Blarney Woolen Mills, which is a massive maze of woolens, silks, food items, household items and other gifts or head to the Blarney Castle. I would more than happily stay at Blarney Vale again and wholeheartedly recommend that you consider them too. One item of note is there are interior stairs that take you up to the guest rooms, so just be aware if your party has any limited mobility.

Plus she makes an excellent breakfast! The rooms are more than adequate; but you're crazy to spend your time in Blarney in your room. Hopefully google maps has fixed this bug by the time you read this, but if not beware-- Google will try to take you right up to Blarney Castle, which is not where Pine Forest is located. Call Janet if in doubt; the B&B is actually about 5 minutes outside of the town square, on the road toward Tower.
