Do not use their bat removal service. It is a waste of your time and money and their inability to resolve the problem puts your family and pets at risk of exposure to rabid bats. We found a bat inside our home and called them out in early 2024. They claimed to not find any colony and they sealed up all entry points. Several months later we found another bat in the house. They came out and found they missed sealing a spot and there was a large colony that they could not remove yet due to the season and baby bats. Finally in late 2024 they got them out and sealed up the house again. Now it's January 2nd 2025 and I get a call from home with screams of panic because a bat is flying around the living room. I rushed home and it was like a scene out of Dracula with a bat flying at high speeds around the living room and dive bombing me as I wildly tried to catch it with a fishing net. Thankfully I got it and took it outside. But I don't feel safe in my own home and these pest control "professionals" have failed to live up to what I paid them to do. The fact that this is multiple attempts to get it right and admission of mistakes has me irate. I'm still awaiting a call back from the manager to address my concerns. Please find a real professional company if you have bat issues. Killum is NOT the company to use. read more

I have used Killum's quarterly service, and their termite service for over 15 years. They are always on time, very professional, and their service works. I don't have roaches, ants, or spiders in my home. Occasionally one of those big ass Texas tree roaches make it inside, but I always find them dead on my floor. I have been using Killum Pest Control quarterly for almost 4 years in my laundromat. They always are on time, very nice in every way,treat the inside and outside, as well as the drain troughs. I just had to write a review today because Robert, my technician, went above and beyond the call of duty. He actually took the time ( and considerable effort) to 'fish' out three rolls of quarters that had been dropped in back of a row of washer! Somehow he managed to take a long pole with a hook on it and grab the rolls and push them into a bag then lift the bag up and out of the trough! Now that takes skill and concentration!! So, I enthusiastically recommend Killum Pest Control Also, I love that I am on auto draft for my payments, much easier than getting a bill and writing a check. Update. Now after a 4th treatment and the tech still saying her doesn't understand why I still have a problem. I still have roaches.

I purchased a 6 month warranty treatment in July 2013 and was very specific in what the warranty covered (1) a pregnant person is in my household so some chemicals cannot be used and (2) if I see a roach, etc. I was assured my entire home would be retreated.The technician was prompt & very courteous; however when he was finished I asked him you did use the right chemicals due to a pregnant woman in my house and his answer was no (at least he was honest). It is clearly specified on the work order, which I pointed out to him. He told me it would be okay as it was Friday and the chemical would dissipate by Monday. It is now 3 months into the 6 month warranty period and a roach is crawling on my living room wall. Ants are crawling on my back brick wall. I call and it was explained Killum will only retreat specified areas where I am experiencing a problem, not the entire house. So they will retreat the living room and back brick wall ONLY as the rest of the house is not a problem. Prior to accepting my money, Killum assured me non-harmful chemicals would be used to protect the pregnant and they would retreat my entire home if I found evidence of insect invasion. Unfortunately, the Killum technician did not read the work order until after he sprayed harmful to the pregnant chemicals in my home and their story changed on what is treated when I telephoned with a problem. Now, I am not a bug expert, but just because I do not see a bug in my bedroom, study, laundry room, kitchen, etc., that does not mean they do not exist. If there is one bug, there is probably many more hiding out of sight and in the dark. Seems retreating one area where I witnessed a bug is like only washing one part of your body that looks dirty - it only solves the obvious and not the whole problem. Word to the wise: if you want to use Killum, make sure you go over the workorder specifics before the technician sprays and when you purchase their warranted treatments, be sure to write in specifically what you expect upon retreatment as their warranty changes according to whoever you speak with. I will not renew a treatment warranty with Killum as when I ask specific questions and I receive specific answers I do not expect the answer to fluctuate. One last issue, I emailed my customer no. & address plus explained my need for a retreatment, STILL an agent telephoned me and wanted more information because she could not locate my account. Communication seems to be an issue for Killum as well. I do not think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing. The agent was courteous throughout the call, apologized for the redundant questions, but emphasized there are five people in the office so she does not always know what the other agents have done. Actually, I thought that was why an account is established for me and notes are relayed so the next agent knows what took place. They profess professionalism, however, internal communication is an aspect of professionalism. read more

Technician never showed up. Operator acted like it was no big deal. I called for a technician on 7/13/16 at 7:30 am. An appointment was made for the same day at 9:00 am. The technician never showed. I called back the next day and operator said they had a computer problem and the tech never got the printout to come to my residence. The operator made another appointment to come out between 11:00 and 11:30. I waited until 11:45 and still no tech arrived. I got a call later in the day and I went ahead and cancelled the order. The operator acted like it was no big deal to lose a customer. read more
