This was a 2 day project using the 1st day to remove the old system and seal ducts and day 2 to install and test the new system. They arrived on time with all the necessary parts and equipment to handle any potential problems. During the duct sealing process, it was determined that the existing duct structure had the equivalent of a 25.8 square hole. After sealing, this was reduced to the equivalent of a 2.3 square inch hole. IMPRESSIVE ! The new system was installed per plan and has been running well for over a month which includes one or two 90 degree days. It is so quiet that one can hardly hear it. Pedro from PR Electric came promptly for his appointment, wore a mask (at a time of high Covid cases) and carefully put on foot covers before walking through my house. I was very impressed with his professionalism. PRs estimate was by far the best value of the three estimates I got. PR offered to install 3 outdoor condensers and 7 indoor HVAC units. The other two companies only offered to install 4 indoor HVAC units. In hindsight, that would not have been enough units to keep the house warm. And PR's estimate was the lowest monetarily, for the most heating! Pedro's team started work on a Saturday and finished on Wednesday.They were very competent, hardworking and courteous. Ever since the work was completed, my house has been SO WARM - better than it has ever been. I was really worried about spending so much money but it was a great investment and will pay for itself in a couple of years through reduced energy costs.
